Not even a full day had passed since Kazumi was last at the Mag Drug Magic shop, and already she had been called back. Of course, she loved being there and whatnot, but she was actually planning on resting today since she had been watching the store all day yesterday. What made this call even stranger was that the store was not even supposed to be open today. This was normally Khalash's day off if Kazumi could recall correctly. So why was she being called in? Surely this meant something important, right? Well, there was only one way to find out.
Kazumi once again made her journey to the shop, This time wearing her jacket and holding an umbrella to protect herself from the falling rain coming down from above. Her boots sloshed upon the wet ground as she walked, taking all of the shortcuts she had discovered upon going to this particular destination over and over and over again. This time she was also carrying a book with her, just something to keep her mind off of things in case she was left alone once again just like last time. She was basically soaked by the time she got there, the umbrella not doing much of anything, so when the door opened to let her in she wa s just glad to be indoors, where it was nice and dry and warm.
"Ah! Don't track water into the shop! Make sure your feet dry on the mat." A worried Khalash exclaimed, Grabbing a mop and drying up any excess water. "Oops, sorry about that." Kazumi stepped back to the mat to dry before stepping into the shop proper again. "So what's up? I was just here yesterday, what happened?" She removed her Jacket and hung it over her umbrella that she left leaning against the door frame. "You're closed today, right?"
"Yeah, I am, but I still need some help, Sorry about this." He went into the back and came out again holding some sort of item. Kazumi could not identify what it was exactly, but she also didn't want to question whatever magical doo dads Khalash kept in his store. "This was an uncommon item I bought yesterday. However, it's broken. I have to get a refund on it but I have an important meeting with the Old Hermit today." Kazumi already knew where this was going, and while her heart fell a bit after her experiences yesterday, she couldn't say she was surprised. "So you want me to wait for the seller?"
"Exactly. Sorry to ask this of you, but I really need that money back. If I reschedule it, it might never happen. I run a business, you know. You would get paid, of course." Kazumi did her best not to show discontent at being left alone again, but a job was a job. She would be pretty stupid to turn such easy jewels down. "No worries. I understand. I'll help you, no problem. What do you need me to do?"
