Today looked like a good day to participate in some Volunteer work or Community service. Not that a day had to look any particular way in order to do so, true enthusiasts would probably go if it were storming. However, Kazumi was admittedly not one of those types of people, so to her, this lightly overcast day was as good a day as any, really. She had just noticed that the cathedral had been looking for some volunteers. Kazumi was not aware of every detail involved, but she did know that it involved caring for the sick. She figured this would be a good way to give back to the Community.
Magnolia was a town that Kazumi loved very much since moving in. In fact, it was one of the VERY few places that she felt she could ever call home. After she left Latinia, She felt as though there would never be any place where she would belong. Thankfully, Magnolia and the Fairy Tail guild had proven her wrong. That was probably the biggest reason why she chose to volunteer on this day. She wanted to be able to say thank you to the city that had given her so much thus far.
Kazumi milled about her apartment, much earlier than usual. She was apparently supposed to meet with Father Jerad in the morning to get more information about what it was that she would be doing. So after she took her morning shower, she got dressed in an old T-shirt that was thrown in her closet and a pair of black shorts, as well as socks and sneakers. She put up her hair in a single braid behind her so that it would not get in her way, and then she was off to go meet with the priest in the City's cathedral.
The walk over there took a bit longer than she would have liked. She had never actually been to the cathedral before, so she had to go find some directions before she could truly depart. This meant a quick trip to the Fairy Tail guild hall so ask if anyone knew where it was on the map, and then once she got her answer she was then able to find her way to the church. Still, because she had a map with her, She did not get lost on the way, instead walking slowly until she found her destination.
Now it was just a matter of finding where she was supposed to be. thankfully, she spotted a group of other volunteers nearby, More do-gooders surrounded by the ill. It seemed that they all had already gotten their assignments, and now Kazu had to locate the priest to obtain hers. She looked around, trying to spot someone that looked like they could be Father Jerad. Kazu had never actually met him before, so she even asked around to try to find him. When she did, he was on his knees, tending to an elderly woman. The crystal mage cleared her throat. "Excuse me, are you Father Jerad?"
