Their training had begun towards the end of the midday, and with a dead line that had been set to be by the time that the sun had set, it was not a huge deal of time for which Selindra would be able to teach them. There were certainly things in which they could improve upon, but that was a very limited degree of it. Even those in her unit when she was with the Rune Knights, at least then they had been with her for months, if not even years, such that they were able to fight and knew what to expect, whereas this was going to be more of a mash up of things for which they would be expected to know and observe than anything else. Further more, it was not ideal either that the noble man determined himself needed to watch what was going on, although whether that was a matter of distrust to either Selindra or that of the men she was training was something in which she was not sure, but either way was not a fan of all the same. In the unlikely or likely chance that it were the former scenario than the later, she was not ready or otherwise expecting that this was going to have been something that she coul have gotten out of, even in spite of whatever degree of protest she may have given, so instead she simply allowed it.
The guards attacked at Selindra as she routinely outmatched them, her armor and weapon being far above and beyon what the men were equipped with, which meant that there were never going to be any real likely chance in which they would be able to attack or deal even the slightest bit of damage against that of Selindra, but even despite the heaviness of the armor, there wasn’t much of which she was particularly worried about, especially given the fact that she was able to move faster than essentialy any of them, though much of that was attributed to the fact that she was skilled in combat, and for as long as the men failed in their efforts to land a single blow against her, she did see that they were improving, substantially too as time went. The style of which they fought were proving to be working and Selindra could not help but wonder if she had more time available to work alongside these men, what sort of unit that they could end up becoming. Beyond that of what she had when she was in the Rune Knights? It was a good question, but they were showing great progress, especially for a group that was without any sort of formal combat training. Had they been trained, it would be very likely they would not have been able to succeed, and once the sun finally set, the men were exhausted, but at least they were better ready for combat. They needed more work, but it was a good improvement compared to what they came into today with. Taking her money from the noble man, Selindra departed without a further word.
