Yumi stretched her limbs as she stood in the living room of the room she was renting. YUmi stretched her body and gently moved through a few kata to do with her apocalypse style of martial arts. Yumi performed each kata action flawlessly, she was like a graceful swan as she moved through each of the actions, showing no sign of imperfection. Yumi closed her eyes as she moved through the kata, she had each memorised and was a master of her martial arts that was a combination of multiple arts. She increased the speed of her movements performing the kata's faster and faster. With each increase of speed her hands were like blurrings as wind began to form around her fists. She took a right step forward and punched out with her right hand, finishing the blow off. Yumi exhaled outwards and lowered her limbs down to her sides. Yumi inhaled again calming her beating heart from the exercise she had performed. Yumi then straightened out her gothic lolita dress, making sure the frills were pointed down.

Yumi grabbed a bottle of water the kitchen table opening the lid and taking a sip from it. She swallowed the water before putting the bottle back down, it was best after exercise not to drink to much water only a small mouthful. yumi recapped the lid and sat the water bottle down as she took a few minutes to rest by sitting at the dining room table and reading the Marigold Times newspaper. She turned the page to see what was in the news. The first article was about the death of a young family, a mother and father who ran a bakery, it went on to say the corpses of the parents had been found in a dumpster hacked to pieces, but there was no appearance of their fifteen-year-old daughter.

At the top of the article was an image of the family and their daughter, a beautiful blonde haired girl with blue eyes. Yumi smirked viciously as she eyed the photo, this was the family she had killed the other day, chopping up the parents with her axe and disposing of the bodies before taking their daughter away to be used as part of a sacrificial ritual for Yumi's dark God Malum. Yumi had sacrificed the girl on a temporary altar made of stone in the middle of the surrounding forest, mixing the girl's blood with ink to draw demonic ruins on her body.

Yumi then finished the girl off by raising the sacrificial dagger and plunging it into the young girl's chest, plunging it deep into her heart. The moment she was dead, the girl's soul transferred through Yumi and onto Malum. The action, of course, had excited Yumi's body heating her up, Yumi hadn't been able to stand it so she relieved the growing excitement there in the forest in front of the altar. After the act of relieving the pressure was done, Yumi had departed but not before making sure to dispose of the evidence and the body making sure it couldn't be seen.

Yumi turned the next page of the newspaper humming to herself. Yumi's eyes scanned each article, there was even one about the actresses whose head Yumi had chopped off a few days ago, Jessica. There was even another article announcing that Alice would be taking on the main role in the upcoming show at the Marigold Theater. That was where Yumi stopped, she didn't bother reading about the name of the show or what it was about or who else was playing who. She didn't care about all of that. All Yumi cared about was getting stronger and earning jewels so she could strengthen herself. Yumi felt she was even closer now to arriving at A rank. Once she became an A rank mage she would no doubt be even stronger than before, perhaps she would finally be able to take on Caius in a one on one battle and bring the fight to a draw. The thought of being able to fight the God Slayer caused excitement to form in the pits of the demonic lolita's stomach but she forced it down, no need to grow too excited especially now.

Yumi folded the newspaper over and laid it down on the table, having finished reading through it. Yumi grabbed an apple from a bowl on the dining room table and took a bite enjoying the taste, savouring it before swallowing, contemplating what she would do. It was already midday and she had already performed the necessary actions of praying to her Dark God Malum, followed by a shower and practising a few of her kata in order to keep herself in shape.

Yumi hummed as she ate the apple in her hand, in the living room on a chair was her companion duskull snoozing happily amongst the cushions. Yumi rolled her eyes at the creature before rising from the dining room chair. Yumi finished off the last of the apple bringing it down to the core where she approached the bin in the kitchen. Yumi placed her right foot on the pedal pushing the lid of the bin open. Once the bin lid was open YUmi dropped the apple core in.

Yumi removed her food, allowing the lid to close shut. The demonic lolita than headed to the door of the room she was staying it opening it and stepping into the hallway. Yumi shut the door behind her locking it to make sure not one could walk on in. Once the door was locked she placed the key in her bosom and made her way down the stairs to the first floor. Yumi approached the old maiden and inn owner, where the lolita paid her rent for the week, followed by the next four weeks after in advance. It was easier and convenient to just pay in advance especially when it came to Inn rooms or even hotels. Yumi was contemplating on renting out an apartment but there was always a lease or contract to sign where you had to live in it for a year and Yumi never stayed in one place that long.

Yumi departed from her rented room, leaving the inn in order to find something to do, perhaps she would think of partaking in another quest. She had completed five already in Marigold all to do with the local theater. THe first quest had been a rather mundane D rank to simply stand in for a stage  hand. The second mundane once again, to take part in the show as one of the actors for Romeo and Juliet was unable to make it and the understudy had been to inexperienced, so Yumi had been asked to perform in his place. The third was to deal with rumours circulating around about Alice Nightingale, Yumi only needed to make the person stop, but she had gone a step further and ended their life so they would never be able to speak again, a woman called Jessica had been the sacrifice she had offered to her lord that dat. The fourth was to persuade the director of the new upcoming show to let Alice star as the female lead. Yumi had thoroughly trashed the director's body guard and used her demonic pressure to install fear into the director making him promise to give Alice the leading role. The fifth the quest she had just finished was by one Rebecca to plant a threatening letter in Alice's office as Alice was getting to big for her britches it seemed.

Theater politics, Yumi cared not for it as long as she was paid she didn't what the job was, and so far she had been paid rather nicely from these foolish theatre folk. These theater people were nothing but fake smiles, always looking to stab each other in the back, at least that was the impression Yumi had of them, after only doing five jobs for them. But it was not up to Yumi to care whether or not they stabbed one another in the back. All yumi cared about was if she would be hired to do the stabbing, it was always nice to earn a little extra cash and perform a sacrifice along the way for her demonic god Malum. She did need to catch up on her ritual sacrifice, what with having fallen into a month-long deep sleep.

Yumi hummed to herself as she approached the dark quest board where she found a quest petitioned from Alice Nightingale once more. Yumi plucked the quest off and began to read it, smirk to herself. Apparently, Alice was sayig she had found a threatening letter in her dressing room and had come to believe the culprit was some creepy guy who had been stalking her lately and leaving her letters. But yumi knew well enough it was not this person, but Rebecca and herself who had left the letter. The letter was written by Rebecca and left behind by Yumi for ALice to find, of course, Alice didn't know that so she assumed the culprit was this stalker. She apparently had enough of this stalker and wanted someone to go to him and make sure he never bothers her again, by whatever methods the quest taker desired.

Yumi looked at the photo attached the quest of the stalker target, he was an insanely fat and greasy looking man that made Yumi real back in disgust. Yumi tore the photo up, memorising the man's image and read over the quest. The quest told Yumi the details of where she could find the fat stalker. It seemed the stalker, whose Shon happened to favour a particular bar in the centre of town and would often be seen getting drunk there. Yumi tucked her hands behind her back and headed in the direction of the bar in order to deal with this fat tub of a man.

Yumi came to a halt out front of the bar, there standing by the door was the so-called stalker, or so Alice believed him to be. Yumi began her approach like the quest demanded and confronted the fat man. Yumi brought up the stalking, only for shon to deny it saying that they were, in fact, love letters, every second he was getting angrier and angrier. Shon's face turned red, yumi could swear there was steam coming out of the fat drunk ears. Yumi immediately told Shon he was no longer allowed to contact Alice, or even look at her, this only worked to enrage the giant of a man throwing him into a violent frenzy.

The fat drunk lunged towards Yumi, going into a rage with the desire to crush the tiny lolita in front of him. Yumi easily stepped to the side avoiding his lunge, the fat drunk happened to be only slightly slower than Yumi, but his movements were too sluggish and he telegraphed his movements, allowing YUmi to predict what he was going to do. The man turned and roared in anger, spittle flying everywhere.

Yumi gave the fat drunk a blank stare before she unleashed her demonic pressure, exerting it upon the giant of a man making him quiver in fear. The fear brought Shon to a halt allowing Yumi the chance to activate her spells. Mana flowed through Yumi's body as she flexed her muscles and flicked her wrists allowing magic to surge around her like tongues of black flames empowering her strength. The grimoire heart mark on her thigh lit up as well further enhancing her strength and speed by thirty percent.

Yumi crouched low to the ground and kicked off launching herself straight towards Shon. She planted her right foot in the ground, and struck hard and fast with her right fist. Yumi's tiny fist connected with shon's fat stomach causing it to ripple. She felt very little resistance, while the quest had said Shon was durable, to her he was nothing. Shon gasped for air, blood flying from his lips. The force of yumi's punch picked his feet off the ground and he began shooting backwards. Yumi kicked off the ground speeding past Shon's shooting form to appear behind him. She then kicked upwards with her left foot launching him up into the air, easily reaching ten meters.

Yumi kicked off the ground using the surrounding buildings to scale up into the air. Shon descended four meters, six meters above ground. yumi jumped from her position appearing eight meters off the ground and two meters above SHon. She then spun lashing out with a spinning falling axe kick delivering another crushing blow to Shon's stomach launching him right into the ground. Yumi fell, planting her tiny feet in Shon's face, using him as a landing pad to soften the fall. The impact left Shon in a sorry state. Yumi spat on him and barked that he was not to visit Alice ever again for before walking away.
