They had finished most of their work in Orchidia and Hanase was finally letting her go back to Era although he did give her a worried look. She could tell that he wanted to ask her what’s wrong and with each glance he threw at her, Eva knew he was worried as well. But her problems were her own. Eva just knew she didn’t want anyone else to get on that wagon with her. The only problem she saw in leaving was that she hadn’t completely gotten to the bottom of figuring out who or what that riverside spirit was. However, she did ask Dacol to contact her if anything happened and that she will be there. Or maybe, if this trip failed in bringing her magic back, then she would send someone capable. After all, if this failed, Evangeline will not be a Rune Knight anymore. Finally, as they walked back down the road to Era, Eva finally realized that she was going back home after years of staying away. That place that contained all of her memories, and perhaps the one she was missing, too.
