Personal Name: Sovereign Pale Age: 19 Gender: Male Sexuality: Homosexual Class: Trickster Rank: D-rank Guild: Phantom Lord Tattoo: Turquoise Green, left shoulder blade Face: Jhin from League of Legends Appearance Height: 6’0” Weight: 150 Lbs Hair: Short wavy brown Eyes: green Overall: Most people assume Sovereign is much older due to the mature features of the mask he wears, when in fact he’s really still very young compared to most. Speaking of which, he is very rarely seen with it off so most people aren’t actually aware he’s only 19. Sov wears a dark crimson blouse with matching trousers. His lower legs and right hand is adorned with bronze metal shoes/ glove which don’t give him any defence in combat apart from the fact they go well with his outfit. There is usually an ivory cloak draped across his lightweight built figure, but isn’t long enough to get in the way or snag on anything. Underneath the mask are green eyes which are sometimes such a dull colour they look grey; he also has quite dark rings around his eyes which stands out against his pale skin. Extra: Fitting his name, Sovereign’s skin is rather pale due to a childhood accident. Personality Personality: Like most people, Sovereign used to be a young boy, full of life and eyes finding beauty in everything. Unfortunately, due to a few troublesome paths his life took, Sovereign had to grow up much quicker and because of this, he’s quite a reserved, cold person who cares little for helping others. The young man doesn’t really have a driving purpose in his life, apart from continue living. Due to his careless attitude, he doesn’t care about his own wellbeing or holding his tongue, he feels that life is short so he has nothing to lose. This may be a reason why he only seeks pleasure in things, if it doesn’t entertain him or provide him with anything he wants, he’ll brush it off his shoulder. Perhaps Sovereign may be seen as cocky, but he is far from it. He doesn’t boast, or make himself known, which is why people often mistake his mysterious grumpiness for someone who thinks they’re ‘too good’. Likes:

Magic Magic Name: Awakened Spirit Magic Element: N/A Magic Description: This type of magic is rather unique to those who work hard enough to gain it. With time and perseverance, one can allow their spiritual energies to extend to the world around them. With this magic, one can use their minds eye to amplify the energy in themselves to utilise as attacks. Sovereign can expel the raw spiritual energy from his body in an ethereal turquoise green light. This light is his spirit, which he can manipulate for attack, defence, supplementary and self-speed buffing spells. If attacking, Sovereign tends to initiate a fight with large AoE explosions. Letting his spirit energy gather in one location before expanding outwards at rapid speeds like a dying star. Not only this, but because he is in a way 'transcended' he can project his multiple physical bodies into the real world e.g. a giant hand made of his spirit, or maybe a large mouth to swallow and trap opponents. When defending, Sovereign can manipulate his spirit to replicate a rushing river, swirling around his form as it blocks all hostile spells. A drawback to this however is the magic itself. He is using his own spirit to aid others and when using it in succession, his physical body becomes unstable. It will look like he's evaporating, turquoise wisps of light seeping out from the cracks in his body. With time, he can heal, but he must be careful how many spells he uses in a given time period. The battleground is his canvas, and the spirit is his paint. History History: The Pale family, living happily in a frozen town. Well, actually, it wasn’t really the town they lived in but rather the villages outside the walls where there were wandering tribes of fisherman and ice sculptors that set down their tents into the snow, only taking what they needed in fears that nature would rain wrath down upon them. Sovereign was around 10 years old when his life went from traversing through the snow to fleeing the country. He had an older sister, Daena, and a younger brother, Temple. His Father was a fisherman while his Mother cared for his 6 year old brother as much as she could. Sometimes, Daena would take the boys out to the woodlands where they’d play and learn things like hunting or foraging, she was such a protective sister and never let them out of her sights… However, one day, Sovereign thought it would be funny to play a little game of hide and seek, taking Temple with him on this little game. They ventured far through the forest and eventually came to a large frozen lake. At the end was the perfect place to hide and so, Sovereign carelessly ran across, dragging little Temple along behind him. Of course, the ice cracked and both boys fell in. Before they knew it, icy water had completely engulfed them and started to drag them under. It didn’t take long before Sovereign blacked out, only to wake up on the snow coughing and spluttering, the sheer cold permanently making his skin deathly pale. Daena furiously shook him with tears in her eyes, shouting and beating his chest. All because of Temple - the poor boy did not make it, his body had been frozen cold and his blood stopped flowing. Unfortunately, this wasn’t enough pain and suffering for the siblings. Rising from the icy prison of the lake was some kind of beast, a creature that the snow tribe feared due to the tales revolving around the curses it carried. Daena, leaving Temple behind, would carry Sovereign through the thick snow and icy trees until they returned to the camp. It was no surprise that everyone was worried sick, and grew terrified upon seeing the beast clamber out of the trees behind them. They had disturbed nature and brought this creature to them and the experienced fisherman had no choice but to slay it. Following this, the supply of fish became low and blizzards would appear in a matter of seconds. Everyone blamed Daena and Sovereign, saying they were the ones who awoke the creature and caused it to curse them with famine and blizzards. They attempted to kill the two, coming to the delusional conclusion that their deaths may bring peace back to the tribe, letting fish swim in the water and the winds to settle once again. Sov’s mother and father did their best to protect them, but all they could do was push Sovereign out to sea on a small floating construct made of ice. As for Daena? Sovereign never saw her during the attack, the last thing he remembers is his house on fire in the night and blood thirsty shouts… The boy had no idea how long he had spent floating across the sea; so many times he thought he was going to die. Eventually, he washed up somewhere at a distant land, people nursed him back to health, clothed him and fed him. However, the young boy was frightful and cared little for other people’s pity and comfort. The moment he felt better, he’d run away from hospitality, confused as to why the sky was clear and there was no snow or ice to be seen. For quite some time, Sovereign spent his life wandering aimlessly and only accepting help from people when he absolutely needed it. One day, the boy wandered a little too far and ended up around the outskirts of Phantom Lord where it seemed like nightmares were coming to life and terror was around every corner he took. After enduring living nightmares, he found himself inside the guild hall itself where he’s been ever since. Sovereign was unsure how the world worked then, so good and evil were just words to him with no actual meaning. Everything happened by chance, and he is happy to live his life the way it’s always been. If people think of him as evil, that’s how he’ll be. Reference: |
