Takumi was wandering about Hargeon, unsure as of what to do. He was new in town, had no money, and nowhere to go. All he had really come here for was to join Blue Pegasus, the guild he had set his heart on joining. The tiny man sighed, thinking as he held his hat in place atop his head. A breeze was blowing that would knock his hat off if he let go. "Hmm... Where to go..." wondered the young mage, deep in thought as he stood in the middle of the square, next to the fountain. He closed his blue eyes, and sang softly as he thought, so quietly his words could not be made out.

Takumi was unaware of this, but he was actually singing the lullaby his adoptive fathers had used to sing to him when he was but a child, a soft, gentle melody that was ideal for luring small children into sleep. As he sang, he danced slowly across the ground, braid flying out behind him, eyes closed and carefree. As long as he didn't bump into anybody, he would be perfectly fine, right? Or at least, that's what he was thinking as he sang and danced to a tune nobody else could hear.

Rishi had been looking at Hargeon from a higher angle today, as she had been riding her best friend and companion, Furry. She loved Furry a lot, and when times got rough, he was always there for her. Today she had been looking for something to do as town seemed pretty quiet today and Rishi had no idea why. Maybe there was something going on that most people weren't as out and about as they normally are, but there were still quite a few people inhabiting the dock. They had been walking through the small crowd, people clearing the way making sure not to get trampled on by this massive bull. As they walked through there was someone who absolutely was not paying attention and just faceplanted into the side of Furry. This was unexpected for Furry and he freaked out and smashed both of the person's feet. "Oh my gosh Furry calm down! Are you okay?!" Rishi said as she hopped off Furry to see if the person was okay. Once she had gotten a good look at the person she realized it was lady a few years older than herself. She helped her up and moved her onto Furry, as it seemed she couldn't walk very well. "I am so sorry! Furry isn't used to other people touching him so he gets a little... out of control... when it comes to new people" she said trying to calm the situation.

Takumi had been dancing and singing by himself when he bumped into something, knocking him off his feet, only to have his feet trampled by whatever the creature was. He opened his eyes to reveal a girl and a bull, the girl looking rather concerned and the bull looking panicked at something. The girl helped him up and onto the bull, asking if he was okay and explaining the situation, and why his feet had been trampled. He nodded slowly, cursing his own stupidity, but not saying anything just that moment as he was in too much pain to speak anything but garbled noises of pain as his body attempted to process what had just happened.

Takumi took a minute to fully regain his wits before he even considered speaking, knowing full well if he tried to talk before he was ready nothing would make any sense. Finally, when he was ready, He opened his mouth to speak. "It was my fault for having my eyes closed." he said, eyes half-narrowed in pain as he observed his crushed feet. If he took off the boots, he was almost certain he would find that one or more of his toes, or feet in general, was broken. After all, he had never felt a pain quite so intense, and a bull was a big animal.

Rishi felt really concerned about this poor person. She sort of knew what it felt like to have a body part trampled on by Furry, as it had happened to her so many times before. She had been smashed by him so many times that she had gone numb to the pain and forgot how bad it was when she got trampled on for the first time. Though it sort of was this person's fault she was still going to blame herself for not paying attention, even though she is used to people clearing the way for this giant creature. "So uhm... what is your name?" she asked awkwardly. She wasn't sure what to do about this seeing as this had never happened to anyone but her before. She knew how herself being trampled on but had no idea how sensitive this person was or how it felt to them. This gi- wait... this wasn't a girl! She had just realized that she didn't have a large chest area and felt so bad now. Why did all of her first impressions have to go wrong in some sort of way? She had to fix this in some way but she didn't really know how. Then again she never said it out loud so maybe this guy wouldn't notice. She then realized she was in a really big hurry and had to run off. "Sorry I have to go, i'm really sorry about your feet!" she said as she moved the poor guy onto a bench and rode off on Furry to where she had to be.
