As she had just visited her sister, who was asleep, she headed back down again from the first floor to the back door of the Headquarters where her possessed cousin Selena would wait for her. She sighed as the apprentices that were watching over the conversation with her sister and her cousin were following her. Was this what happened after becoming a Lieutenant? It was a Monday afternoon and rather busy at the Headquarters. She had gone on a mission, had arrested her sister before the all out Family Drama started.

She sighed and pushed the red hair out of her face, thank god it was already in a ponytail because she didn't feel like changing too much. She ignored the pages that were looking at her and some cowared away, she must look as if she was really angry at the moment. Which she was, she had no time for this. She wondered if someone would stop her but the only Lieutenant that would be able to, wasn't here and the others of her Knight friends weren't either. Lucky for the Slime girl.

As she finally reached the training field she changed while taking the last steps. She was surrounded by light that changed her white blouse and blue trousers into the black and red scarle armour that she always wore. Her cat ears and temple protected by the Scarle diadem that came with it. Her tail hidden within the armour and a straight spear in her right hand. She would be very aware that the slime girl would be able to use water magic but she would not give up so easily. She was aware that the girl would be able to attack her immediately, and what kind of damage that would do, but she would first work out very well what she would do, she held her spear quickly with both hands, had her right foot a little away from her left and more to the back. Ready to sprint away in case it was needed. As she was the offender, she was sure she should take the first move, but she would in case Selena didn't want to talk anymore, "Let's begin now." she would call out if the Slime version of her cousin wouldn't attack her yet.

She was ten meters away from her cousin and she would run off and reach her within a matter of seconds and slice the spear from her cousin's right hip to her left shoulder and move the spear on to hit her underneath her chin with the end of the spear.

Information:

Only 10 minutes had passed until Alice had joined the Slime in the training grounds. The Slime was just finishing her stretches. To most it would seem odd as the Slime was able to contort her body any direction he wished so stretching seemed irrelevant, however what most did not know was that while bound to a human's body, she would have to use mana to act as if she was a real Slime. The area was outside, 100 meters in diameter, covered in a dirt ground. The Arena seemed fit for any kind of training, however what the two knights were going to engage in was some thing more than that. The two had been back and forth with insults, threats, like a game of tennis, however it had come to the point where they could no longer use their words to communicate. The Slime had been thrilled since she had been the reason why the fight was happening. She was tormenting Alice since she lay eyes upon her, and with the sudden discovery of her mother's journal, Alice was tipped over the edge and challenged The Slime to a fight. Alice's intentions were clear, she wished to get her cousin back and thought fighting the Slime would do the trick. Although a decent idea from the red head, the Slime knew she would win no matter the outcome. She had done all of this for pure entertainment and the main act was about to come center stage. Even if Alice could get over her little fear of getting wet, The Slime still had a trick up her sleeve to ensure Alice would not get her way. Well not totally anyway.

"My my wasn't that quick~?" You certainly don't waste any time Ali~" the Slime said in her overly sweet voice as Alice drew near. As Alice got closer she would see a blue book hovering just beside Selena. This was her book, the Undine sect. The book was an essential for the Slime as it allowed her to true be at one with her animalistic soul and not be held down by the restraints of humans. She found the book a fitting name, however in her mind's eye, she was the water queen.. Alice seemed to be clad in very strong looking Armour, that the Slime recognized as the Scarlet set. It was an armor Selena was hoping to buy but she settled for the lancer gear that she was wearing now. As Alice was retrieving her items from her re-quip, the Slime seemed to bring her own Slime over the gear she was wearing when The Slime assumed a fighting stance. Selena had her hands open, left arm around her chest and her right arm slightly above the left. Since the only time Selena fought Alice was when they play wrestled when they were younger, so the Slime had no clear strategy as to how to go about fighting the Lieutenant. She instead tried to incorporate Selena's own fighting style into her own. The Slime made sure to activate Selena's seated Aura so she would gain an extra punch in a hand to hand fight. Since the Slime was far more agile than Selena she would be able to maneuver far more. The Slime kept an eye on Alice's hips, a hips, a tip she learned from the Adventurer Finn. Finn had done the same to Selena in the Baska tournament and easily knew when Selena would move before she would, which ultimately resulted in Selena's defeat.

"yes, let's begin~" The Slime said as she kept a heavy eye on  Alice. There! Alice was off and as she was, Selena had flicked her wrist, pointing her right hand (which was horizontal) at Alice's throat, just under the chin, since it was the only decently exposed Area. As she did, from her hand more Slime materialized and extended out in the shape of a sword 2 meters out. Since Alice was moving full speed at Selena he would find it hard to stop abruptly. Not only that But Alice was aiming to get close to slash her with her spear. Alice held her spear about one third up from the base, which would not grant her the full two meters of the weapon, even with her arm fully expanded. If all went well the Attack would have at least cause Alice to try and dodge and as she would Selena would clench her left wrist, allowing her to contort her body so she would propel backwards. Once Selena reformed to her original shape, She would be facing away from Alice and would run until she was 15 meters away from her cousin. Once there she would turn to her side, her right hand closest to Alice and looking out her right eye to see what her next move would be. Although it was only one attack the Slime knew she could not take any chances. The amount of power a lieutenant would have scared her. The Slime had remembered the other lieutenant who was able to slay demons, and the Slime knew Alice would not be far off him.

As she dashed off she held the back end of her spear with her right hand, leaving little room towards the end but that didn't matter as her left hand was around the middle to move it with a speed and sharpness that she needed. As she had dashed forward and made the move to swing up the body of her cousin, she missed because she had to protect herself from the sword that suddenly appeared towards her neck. She had seen it for Selena had casted it the moment she dashed off, there was little room to react but since she had made a swing for Selena her body already, all she had to do was heave the spear a little higher and collide with the spell to swing Selena her right hand towards her left shoulder and avoid the damage. Alice in the mean time took a step back with her right flank so the sword would miss her for a short distance, in case the collision wasn't enough to make it disappear.

So she made a diagonal move pushing higher than she had intended to do to move the right hand and sword away from her. Still making a switch to let go with her right hand and slam the back of the spear upward to reach Selena her chin and slam the back end of the spear against it. However Selena moved backwards and Alice missed.

There was now a distant from 15 meters between them, easily abridged but she shouldn't act so hastily again or she might get hurt this time. She would start again though, hurrying towards Selena in the 3 seconds that she needed, running upright but at the last second she took two more steps to the left side of herself and the right side and back side of Selena, moving her spear not very high but aimed at the back of her knees, holding the spear at almost the back end and the middle, leaving a meter between her and the tip of her spear as well as Selena.

Information:

The Slime could feel her sword breaking as the sharp tip of the spear cut through it. The Slime gritted her teeth but she was away from the rest of Alice so it was alright. Alice had decided to run at her again, to try and get her frustrations out again. The Slime was eyeing her in a similar fashion and was ready when Alice moved. However The Slime merely waited a second before clenching her left hand into a fist. Alice had decided to move to the left at the last moment, however since she took steps she would be a lot slower moving which gave Selena plenty of time to be propelled 1 meter where she was facing, and away from the relatively low attack of her cousin. Once reformed the Slime was now facing Alice, her hands outstretched. As she reformed she made a gun shape with her two hands and began to fire small slime bullets at her cousin, moving back one step at a time as she did to make space. As The Slime fired these spells, Alice would most likely be getting back up to standing position with her lance since she had aimed low. As well as this once she reformed she would take a step to her left, causing a large being of slime in her likeness to be created. The Slime Selena would be aiming her bullets towards Alice's face since it was the most exposed and as she made her firing motions, the Slime copy would be making similar movements as Selena, only mirrored. More specifically, Selena's right hand was aimed at her neck while her left was aiming for her face, in between the eyes. Selena would move back about 10 meters away from Alice which was her spell's maximum range. Selena would be watching Alice's hips all the while making sure she was not thinking of darting at her, but Selena had a feeling she would not. Since Cat's hated water and Selena was firing spells at her, she would more than likely run away. Selena would Fire spells at Alice and would follow her if she moved, but if Alice moved more than 10 meters away from Selena she would stop firing her spells at once.

The Slime all the while had a huge smile on it's face. Enthralled by the fires of battle. She had missed having such fun and wondered who else she could fight after Alice. The young Finn came to mind but she knew he was a contributing factor to Selena's depressed state and to interact with him would be dangerous. Selena shook all other thoughts from her mind once she realized she was beginning to daydream. She had to focus on Alice and their marvelous fight. And that was what the Slime Selena did. She made sure to be tuned into the fight, to never leave Alice's gaze unless necessary. She was going to win!

As her cousin darted off again she immediately stopped running and turned to look where she had gone this time. She grumbled silently because she had missed again. She believed it to be a cowardly move, to move away every time. But she didn't say anything, she kept her mouth shut and her eyes on the price. Her grip on the spear didn't lose again and she would have to come up with quick reactions to stop the Slime girl and to be able to do something.

She had moved one meter away again, using perhaps the same spell, and before Alice could get closer, having two meters between them, she motioned to use a spell and Alice immediately moved up her hand to form the barriera that came with her armour and that would protect her from the possible spells that her cousin was using. It was almost see through, you need sharp eyes for that because there was a red glance over it. She held her spear ready to strike though as the barrier appeared one meter between her and Selena and was two meters wide. She noticed only so much that happened, there was a second spell formed and the two things moved away from Alice. There was nine meters between them and the barrier and ten with Alice.

The barrier was breaking, she noticed it in her magic and simply let it happen, but before the last of the gun shots hit the barrier, she was ready to dash out, as soon as the spell broke she would be at that one meter and she would cross the nine meters in a run towards the Slime girl again. She would reach her in 2 seconds this time and right before she would cross the last 2 meters she jumped up with the sun at her back, so it would be difficult to spot her and holding the spear right in front of her to, a meter between her and the spear point again, jumping down on Selena her shoulder with the spear first if her cousin wouldn't move first. In that case they would both fall and she would have made the hit, as it was difficult to spot her, that's why she had made use of the sun, or to suspect when she would be coming down. Which would be a matter of seconds.

In case they would collide and fall on the ground, she would roll away and stand up again, moving a few steps backward to create a distance of five meter between them.

Information:

Something unexpected had happened when the slime had been firing her spells. Alice had created a barrier to stop her from taking attacks. Although the Barrier was red Selena could still see through ti and as she moved back she took note of what way Alice was standing. Since Alice had been charging at The Slime, she had all but figured out how she would start he dashes. With her free hand she snapped her fingers and with the other hand casting the last bullet, Selena was ready to go. So before her last spell had hit, she too had gotten ready to run.

As soon as the barrier broke The Slime and her close ran side by side, the copy rubbing up against The real slime as they ran. As the Slime ran, she made a straight punch for Alice's neck with her right hand, and as a result the copy of the Slime would punch with it's left. Since the Spear was in Alice's left hand, and at her side since she was running, she would only be able to hit the slime if she decided to swing her weapon. The Slime was confident in her speed after seeing Alice run. Alice was fast, but still slower than Selena and by the time Alice had started her run, The Slime would have started before her and reach Alice a lot sooner than her cousin was thinking. Of course the Slime knew Alice was running so she was more prepare, unlike the neko before her who thought that the Slime was going to remain still again. Alice did not seem to have any other plan in mind and we straight for her own plan without thinking of a back up. That being said, The slime had moved very fast, and out of character since she had been passive this whole fight. This was all the Slime's plan, she had to get a feel of the power of her cousin. At this distance if Alice were to react in time to hit the Slime, she would then get a feel for her power, and once she had achieved that, the only variable left was her endurance, which she presumed was not much since she wasted a barrier to stop some small spells. Then again the Slime remembered that she was a neko and feared water and instead of a well placed shield she did it out of fear of getting moist. Selena was sure she had timed everything well so that not only could she hit Alice, but also her copy too. Of course nothing was set in stone, however it would be difficult to counter something so quickly. The Slime was also confident in her strength boosted by that of Selena and her well deserved aura to allow her to deal more damage. As long as one attack hit, then it would be good. As her right foot touched the ground as she ran to Alice before delivering her hit, the ground would be coated in slime. As soon as it had coated the ground and Selena was finished her attack a blast of Slime originating from the ground would explode like a volcano. Selena would be able to easily turn and run out of the blast as it slid by her due to her Slime, but the copy would be broken due to the hit. Alice too would be hit but the armor would more than likely take all the damage. Once The Slime was 12 meters away she would turn around again to see what had happened and to see if her plan had worked.

She had made a mistake as the slime was getting towards her, she didn't even noticed the other one yet because it was mimicking she was good. It also meant because she kept holding her spear diagonal in front of her at a line with her hips, that she held the spear point to the left and the end of the spear to the right where she held on to it with her right hand. The clone version ran into her spear, apparently because it couldn't think for itself and the other side she would have to dodge by moving her upper body more to that left side, the real Selena was still on her right and she let go of the end of her spear quickly, as the claws on her right hand had been out the moment she left to run towards her cousin and she made the same movement as Selena but aimed for her cousin's stomach just above the belt that came with the armour that her cousin was wearing. She would take the little punch that Selena made with her flat hand because it was nothing considering the scarf that was hiding most of her neck and thus protecting most of the blow.

As she was still in the movement of the run, she had to aim carefully which was fine considering the strength of her eyes and the nibbleness of her cat like being. So she hit her right hand into the stomach of Selena, while taking the palm flat hit on her neck, as she continued to run she grabbed a hold of her spear with two hands again. That's when the floor underneath her exploded and she cursed but it didn't do much as the water just made her want to jump up and run away as soon as possible, she was still standing, her armour had taken the damage. As soon as she was over the shock for those five minutes she quickly walked away from the scene, turning so she would look at Selena, having the 15 meters between them.

Information:

Miscalculations. The Slime had made a few miscalculations within this fight. She had thought that her copy could move around the lance but was mistaken and the copy was destroyed before it could do anything. The Slime however managed to get a decent hit on Alice, however the scar around her neck and armor managed to soften the blow somewhat. Before Selena knew it She could feel sharp pins on her arm before her spell had erupted. Luckily Selena had managed to get away to the 15 meters, but had no more slime coating herself to protect her from any more of Alice's attacks. The Claws! The Slime shouted at herself as she eyed Alice. In her assurance that Alice would be afraid of her because of her water like consistency, she had forgotten the other quirks of a neko, including their claws! The Slime kept an outwardly cheery face, although the pigment in her Slime was turning blue. Damn! I used too much! The Slime thought to herself as she looked at her glossy green slowly turn a light azure. The Slime had used too much of Selena's mana and was beginning to run out. Without any mana she couldn't sustain herself for so long. Since the Slime was so used to using magic like that without any repercussions she did not think that it would deal so much mental damage to Selena. Humans were annoyingly frail! Well at least Selena was. Alice seemed fine, however she had more damage on board than the Slime. The Slime had managed to get a good hit on her throat, which would more than likely be bruised and she would be finding it harder to breathe, at least for now. The Slime knew she could not keep going like this as Alice had the upper hand when it came to hand to hand. on good hit and the Slime would be a puddle on the floor. She would have to coax out Alice, stop her from fighting which was a shame as the Slime was having a lot of fun. If only she could do more than knock Alice out.

As soon as the gruesome thoughts entered her mind, she could feel her grip fade from Selena's body. A cold sensation went through The Slime, as the slime began to fade from Selena's body. The Slime felt weaker as Selena's arm flew to her head. Selena's body began to shake from side to side as she struggled to break free. It was as the Slime had hoped. Selena was many things, one of them being predictable. She would not stand by and let the thought of her cousin die simply float by, so she would fight off the Slime. Remember this feeling sweetie~ Said the slime in a hushed whisper as the remaining Slime fell off Selena. The woman that stood before Alice was no her cousin, in the flesh rather than slime. She looked as if she was asleep for the longest time, looking tired and undernourished. Her hair was long and untamed and her eyes seemed drained of all their colour. She stood for all of 2 seconds before collapsing on the ground in a heap. If Alice got closer she would see that Selena was very skinny, too skinny since they last met. Although Selena was back, she was a shell of her former self. Selena was unconscious and probably would not wake unless forced. Her breathing was raspy and hard as if she had been inhaling toxic fumes for hours. She looked the picture of death.

She held her head high while she felt the tingling sensation of a starting bruse on the right side of her throat. Now her scarf had taken most of the damage but it had been a weird feeling, like a half slap in her face on her jawline and the palm of Selena her hand on her throat, thank god it didn't hit her windpipe but she felt like a gag for a second. She hid that for now, she didn't want to show any weakness at the moment.

She stood upright and looked at the slime with a fierce look in her eyes. She would wait, something she should have done before as well but she always seemed to refrain from it, stupid. Definitely if there was such a thing as water mages like this Slime. She looked at the slime, changing into something in an azure colour. She didn't like to show the weakness but she seriously hoped that she would be able to see her cousin. She coughed and noticed the whole green slime disappeared. Her golden eyes turned bigger as she stared at the fragile body of her cousin, the hell! Why didn't she notice before.

She let go of her spear and the armour and sprinted towards her cousin to catch her. To make sure her head wouldn't hit the ground. She stared at Selena and turned a little pale, she heard again the noises of the people around her, "Will someone get a damn healer!" she yelled out of frustration because no one was moving. She turned to her cousin, "Selena, can you hear me?"

Flashback to Earlier that day: Selena had entered the interrogation room after being told her cousins where there. A wild fire of emotions began to blaze within her. Anxiety, fear, curiosity. These were the feelings the Slime had decided to dwell upon as Selena often had trouble with those feelings, and the Slime could not have been certain what would have happened. It seemed as though the Slime was trying to be helpful, and in a sense she was but those were not the only emotions Selena felt. Many feelings had re-awoken within Selena, ones she could not remember having, such has hope and excitement. Selena had thought she was all alone since she had gained consciousness on the dirty streets of the poorer district of Era, since no one had tried to reach out to her, but hearing that she had family filled her with hope that they had come for her. But the Slime had not realized this and Took Over anyway, or perhaps the Slime did realize but did not care? Selena had still no knowledge of the Slime soul within her own body. Even while trapped inside, Selena did not know what was happening. She could no longer see while trapped, nor hear, nor feel anything her body touched. The only feelings she could grasp were her own and the Slime's. While Selena was trapped she felt as if she was taking a warm bath, however when the Slime had a large burst of emotion, the water would boil and Selena would try to break free. Not only that but she could get the sense of why the feeling was brought about, as if the Slime was whispering to Selena what it wanted to do, but Selena could not fully understand it, only that she would not want it to happen.

Normally Selena would not feel what was happening with her body while the Slime had taken over, however as the Slime fought Alice, she could feel many things. Her body was being propelled in all directions all the time, her arms and legs where moving with such force she thought they would rip off her body. She could feel her life force get weaker and weaker the longer it went on. Not only could she feel herself loosing power, but the Slime became cooler, less thick and almost like water. She felt as though she was going to die, until the water began to boil suddenly once again. Before Selena knew it her heart was screaming in rage and pushing her soul from the depths of the Slime to the surface. Although her head may have forgotten most of her experiences, her heart and soul did not and would carry it out for her. Despite the sudden burst of power from within, it was still to weak to break the seal which stopped Selena from reaching her memories.

Present Time: Selena opened her azure eyes as she heard a familiar voice shout at the top of her lungs. The light hurt the Seated's eyes. She felt as though she had not seen the sun in years. As her eyes adjusted and focused, she met big brown, almost golden eyes. "Alice...? Asked Selena through a raspy, sounding very confused. Indeed she was however Selena was more confused as to how she knew the name, rather than why she was in the arms of her cousin who seemed fit to burst into tears at any moment. Selena continued to look up at her, like a young infant fascinated at the beautiful face of her cousin. Selena's face seemed neutral, open slightly as her breathing was still rather gravelly. Selena attempted to Sit up, if she was allowed. Although she looked like she had no muscle mass at all, she felt strong enough to do this. Once she was sat upright, She looked at the ground, looking as if very interested in the dirt ground which she sat upon. Selena was lost for words. The fact that her throat felt like it had gargled rusty nails did not help. She hoped her cousin would do or say something to break the awkward atmosphere.

Someone came running towards her, holding up his hands to show his magical ability to heal but before anything could happen, she heard her name, rather softly as if she had not even been sure that she heard it but it was Selena that was staring at her which made Alice her face turn from anger into much more worry and a small smile to assure that everything would be alright. As she had defeated the slime, simply by making her use all her magic, she was sure that Selena must feel tired and that her body perhaps would feel very heavy. That's what she felt the first time she almost used up all her magic.

She turned quickly to look at the healer that hunched down and nodded so he could try to heal her, she waved to her bottle of water that someone had brought for her, so much the respect for lieutenants. Someone brought it to her and she helped Selena sit upright in the mean time, making sure her cousin was able to sit upright and she held her arm protectively behind her in case she would fall backwards again. That didn't happen. She grabbed the bottle, thanked the two knights quickly and asked for space. She all tried to be very friendly but it was difficult to those that didn't belong here at the moment. She held the bottle in front of Selena, it was up to her cousin herself to see if she would wanted to drink something.

"I'm glad to see you." she said in a hushed and soft tone because she had no idea what had happened to her friend and what she could handle at the moment but the red head needed to know a few things, "Where have you been, Selena? I was worried. The last time I saw you was mid March. It's mid August now." Which was way too long, five months, to be split up. Especially when both of them seemed to be needing each other so much. As she didn't count Lacie as her family, she only counted Selena and boy had she thought about Selena often.

Selena smiled politely at the healer who made sure she was all right. Although she looked awfully sick there was nothing wrong with her. She had not taken any damage from the fight with Alice when the Slime had taken over. Soon Selena found herself the interest of more than one night as another came with water. Selena watched as Alice was given the water and could smile a little bigger. She was the new lieutenant the rumors were talking about, she thought to herself, who else could get a healer and a water boy just by asking for one.

Once Selena was sat up and tended to, she could feel a warm hand on her back. Alice had come closer which made Selena feel a little more paranoid than she had been. She felt somewhat exposed, looking so unhealthy herself while Alice gave off a pure glow. Selena nodded as Alice spoke first. Selena could only imagine how much, since according to her they had not met for half the year. Alice had asked where had Selena been. Selena was not sure weather or not to tell her the truth. "Oh,
just around." Selena said. She could feel how unsatisfying the answer was on her lips as she spoke. "Actually, I really don't know. I lost my memory about 4 months ago. I only remembered my name." Selena spoke, relieving the hard first month that she tried to scrape by. "I only found out I was in the Knights cause some people recognized me from a tournament. But that was it. No one seemed to know anything else about me, and since no one tired finding me I just presumed I was just alone in the world and didn't bother looking for anyone, mainly because I didn't think there was anyone to look for. Sorry if I made you worry." Selena said, still looking at the dirt floor. Selena spoke as if addressing a superior officer, which she had been doping if you were looking at their ranks. Although Alice clearly cared for Selena, Selena could not remember any attachment to her cousin. She could only feel the guilt spread through her body. She wanted to remember but her brain would not allow her. Before she knew it Selena was talking again, the knot in her voice loosening evry time she spoke. "So, um what happened? I blacked out for a while. The last thing that I was doing was going to meet you in the interrogation room then everything went black." Explained Selena. If there was anyone she could confide in about her black outs it would be her cousin, or so she thought. Selena wanted to be close with her cousin but was unsure how. She wanted to looking caringly into Alice's eyes like she was doing to Selena, but she had no such feeling within herself. Selena knew she would have to build up them brick by brick, but a strong sense of annoyance coursed through her body. She wanted those feelings back now to get rid of all the guilt that was bubbling within.

Alice raised her eyebrow as her cousin simply stated that she was just around. If she was just around, why had no one been able to tell her where she was and what was going on, she sure had made an effort to search for Selena when she was able. But her job had let her travel as Selena would be hyper aware off as she was a knight as well. She bit her lip as Selena continued to tell her that she had lost her memory. Alice knew all too well how that felt and she tried her best not to tremble. She knew it wasn't contagious but still she was afraid of amnesia, afraid it would happen to her again and again but it seemed that lately the people around her got to that point of getting it too.

She kept her mouth shut though, hoping Selena would tell her more. Four months, that meant that she had been searching for answers the past four months and answers were within reach. The slime had told them, her and Lacie what happened with Selena as a child. She clenched her right hand into a fist, to make sure Selena didn't see it. That damn parasite.

She took a deep breath to keep her voice neutral and not to scare Selena with the anger she felt for the Slime version because of what Selena just asked, "You have a Take-Over Magic, do you know that?" She wondered because Selena used to be a Dragon Slayer, "That means you share your body and magic with another being. She was worried about your emotions so she took over to handle the conversation between me and my sister. We don't know each other that well Selena, I suffer from Amnesia too and we bumped into each other in the beginning of January. We are still building up our friendship and family bonds, but we are very close. We fought side by side here in Era in an Auction House, after that you disappeared."

Selena felt the atmosphere change somewhat as she spoke. She could feel a sense of hostility in the air as she explained what had happened the past half a year. Alice tried hiding her annoyance but Selena had only manged to pick up on it from the veins on her arms contracting. However Selena would see why Alice would be so aggravated. It was as if Selena knew she had been in a similar situation where the roles were reversed. Once Selena had finished speaking, she had felt a huge weight off her chest lift. Well lift was an odd way to put it. Her chest seemed to get rid of the knot within it, and the familiar warmth that she had always felt before blacking out began to get pushed down further, as if it was being removed from her body in total. She was unsure why, but as Alice spoke again, Selena put two and two together.

"Wait take-over? You mean..." Selena touched her chest with her right hand. Was that the reason for hearing that voice? For feeling that warmth? For having such an odd magic? Everything was becoming clear to Selena. Suddenly a rush of warmth caused by the Slime flushed over Selena as she went slightly paler. However it did not have nearly enough power to take over again. Selena looked somewhat shocked. "That makes so much sense..." Selena said as the memory of her waking up in Era returned. She had heard a voice telling her what to do, the Slime. But was it due to the Slime that she had lost her memory? Selena felt the warmth completely go from her body. Selena felt ice cold to the touch once more. Like before the Slime took over.

Selena was also listening to Alice as she explained how they met and Selena realized why the feeling of familiarity was in her heart. This was how they had met, but the rolls were reversed. Alice then mentioned the Auction house where they had fought together. A vague feeling of de ja vu now covered Selena. "I think, yeah. I woke up just outside there. Why was that though?
It sounds like we did that ages ago..." Selena said. "Maybe we should talk somewhere else." Selena suggested as it began to rain. Once inside a Paige would come in saying both were needed in Hargeon and that they should there way there immediately.

Alice tried to explain everything, with putting her frustration away, it was difficult but for the sake of Selena and her love for the only family member that she cared about was much stronger than her annoyance and she finally hugged Selena when she said that it made much sense. "If something goes wrong, you can always come and talk to me, alright?" She let go of Selena rather quickly and explained some more about the Take-Over magic and the situation that the both of them were in now.

She stood up and dusted off the invisible dust of her knees, she felt tired because of that fight but she was not showing Selena that, when they decided to head inside, Alice informed her cousin that the battle was back in March. She was seriously worried but there was something coming up A meeting about Hargeon and Blue Pegasus, the two of them would have to go there, with one last worried look on her cousin Alice followed first.
