She was shivering, which was strange for now she was inside a warm building with a fire and a blanket and yet she was shivering. She wouldn’t want to catch a cold but it felt like that. She had been walking for hours before she arrived and everything was fine and now! She shivered and Hecate rubbed herself against Alice her legs but it didn’t work. She wasn’t entirely sure what to do but the woman who was sort of taking care of her was very friendly. The woman was called Kaita and Alice found her very beautiful looking. She handed her a cup of herbal tea to warm her up but nothing seemed to work as she was still shivering, ”How far along are you?” and she almost spit out the tea by Kaita her casual conversation topic and she stared at the woman before turning her look at her invisible stomach because of the blanket. She wanted to ask Kaita how she knew but her look apparently said everything because the older woman was laughing and telling her that for a healer it was quite obvious. That was a bummer but on the other hand, this was how she figured out about the little peach. Who was still nameless but on the one hand, she still had not been to any healers about it. So she told Kaita and she would check for her as soon as she warmed up, which Alice believed would be a miracle. But it worked, it was probably some special herbal tea and soon she got rid of her leather jacket and the blanket and would let Kaita check the process of her pregnancy. This made her a bit more excited than she had ever been before but the thing was she was alone again. She wasn’t entirely sure if she was happy to be alone or that it made her calm down because the issues were Kon, well they were pressing. She lifted up her right hand and stared at the golden ring around her ring finger and sighed heavily. She didn’t want to consult with Kaita but it felt so lonely at the moment. She needed someone to talk to but whom? She noticed that Evangeline didn’t like to talk about it and she didn’t know where either of her friends were. Selena, Eva and so on. She didn’t want to cry about it but she suddenly had the urge to do so. She hated crying so it was a miracle that she even thought about it, and Kaita who didn’t know what it was about, simply told her it was normal. And with a bit of unlucky feelings it would even be able to become worse. So Alice asked her to leave her be for a minute or two. Which was weird to ask since it wasn’t her own place but the healing place from Nanuq, which was the place that Kaita had the authority about. She didn’t know what to do but sobbed a little. She had to talk to Kon. She needed to tell him that she wouldn’t be good enough for the Holy Knight, would she even be good enough to be his bride? She hated to pity herself but it was probably a period that would go over, and rather sooner than later.

When she was done sobbing about her pitiful state, she stood up from the bed, dressed herself properly again and opened the door to see Hecate and Jupiter stare at her. They had not been able to join the room while Kaita checked her health. She muttered that she felt fine but for some reason she soon had the idea that Jupiter didn’t believe her and only hung around her more closely. She didn’t say anything about it, it was almost a shame that Jupiter or Hecate couldn’t talk, because it would sure help a lot. She was not sure if Jupiter would be happy to hear her complain about her situation. He didn’t seem to be a type to allow it. But you would never know until you heard. Alice sighed again as she sat in front of the fire again and Kaita returned to her not much later. ”I have the perfect job for you.” She said and she sounded more hurried than a few minutes ago. So she quickly explained what she expected from Alice, which was an easy job. She would have to clean the pots and stuff, which was a good job for her, she could think and not do anything wrong. She was always a careful person so she wouldn’t have to be afraid to be clumsy.

But there were more rooms where she had to go and pick up the bottles that she would bring back to the place in front of the fire and clean up the bottles before bringing them backing. Listening in to conversations of the healing process and the like. Which she found interesting. She would linger a little longer when she was interested in the healing session before walking out of a room. When she was done in total, she would sit in front of the fire, scratching and messaging Hecate and Jupiter from time to time before after some time Kaita came in. She thanked Alice and asked if she had come to a solution, so it had been a job for herself basically. Alice thanked her and said the conversations were tempting to eavesdrop. Which Kaita found nice to hear so she invited Alice to come along another time. She handed her a couple of jewels that surprised Alice but she wouldn’t decline and take another cup of herbal tea before she would stand up and get to the room that Kaita had appointed for her to take a nap. For as long as she could, she should do that and enjoy it. She couldn’t sleep immediately and wondered what Kaita thought about her going to join a healing ritual or whatever they way she called it and she fell asleep, waking up very quickly wondering if she had cleaned everything right and for the first time she wondered how it would be in Orchidia and she wanted to be in a place that she could call home. With that thought she turned around and wonder if she could see the healing ritual tomorrow and leave that evening immediately. It was too cold here anyway.
