The night air had a subtle chill, Syliph walked alone that night, which in retrospect was a bad idea because of it being the nights of the restless souls. But Syliph had heard of rumors where souls offered people pumpkin pops in exchange for a task, hopefully he would meet someone. Suddenly from above a voice called out, "SCREW YOU TIMOTHY, I HOPE YOU AND THAT WENCH SUFFER." Syliph looked up to see a girl with pale features floating harmlessly above him, her blonde hair floated gently around her head, her eyes were ice blue and she wore all brown clothes. Looking down she saw Syliph, and a mischievous grin lit up her face, "Hey you down there! Want some Pumpkin Pops?" Syliph smiled, his night just got interesting, "Yeah sure, what do you want ghosty?" The ghost smiled again, "My names melissa, I was murdered when i tried to visit my boyfriend one night, I found out a few nights ago that he had been cheating on me while i was still ALIVE! unfortunately I can't do anything about that, so if you're willing, how about you ruin their date tomorrow? Its at the Shiny Bucket Cafe, the place he used to take me all the time, do whatever it takes. I'll be watching the entire time, i just can't do any physical harm, so after you ruin their date, meet me back here during the night so i can give you some pops." Melissa grinned at her offer. "How could i say no? Getting some revenge on a two-timing bastard would make my day tomorrow. You've got a deal ghosty." Syliph's eyes lit up. Melissa frowned, "Stop calling me ghosty." Syliph grinned harder, "not a chance...ghosty." Melissa sighed and disapated into the foggy air.

Syliph sat inside the Shiny Bucket Cafe, he looked like a waiter, it was probably because he had knocked out and hidden one of the waiters in the food closet, he had slipped the dude a sleeping potion so hopefully it would keep him under for the duration of his job. A man with brown hair and green eyes walked up to Syliph, "I'd like a table for two please." Syliph lead them over to a very public table and sat the man and the woman down. Suddenly a whisper flew into his ear, "That's him, thats Timothy." Syliph grinned, Melissa had just given him his mark. "What can i get you two today?" Syliph asked Timothy and his date. The girl piped up first, her voice was high pitch and whiny, the sheer sound of it probably broke someone's glass, "I want the Pink Kale soup please, and a cup of water with no Ice." Syliph scribble nonsense down on his pad, he didn't really care what he gave them, it would probably be garbage anyway. Timothy talked next, " I'll have the Cranberry and peanut butter chicken please, along with a lemonade." Syliph nodded and scribbled some more nonsense.

Once inside the kitchen Syliph grabbed a pitcher of water from the counter. He walked out towards the table where the couple was sitting, acting like he wasn't watching where he was going, syliph slipped and poured water all over Timothy's date. Her shriek echoed around the room, and Syliph swore he heard someones wine glass shatter. Timothy stood up and began to swear at Syliph, who was struggling to hide his smile. Syliph got up on his hands, reaching out he grabbed Timothy's pants leg as a grip, but instead of trying to use it to pull himself up, he purposely tugged down, he really hoped the guy had underwear on. The soaking wet girl gasped at the sight of Timothy's bear downside, apparently he had forgotten underwear that morning. For a few hilarious moments Timothy stood there in shock as Syliph turned his head and tried to subdue the shaking of his shoulders. Quickly Timothy pulled his pants back up and sat back down at the table, "could we PLEASE have our food now?" Timothy growled. Walking away happily please Syliph could hear the angry whine of the girl.

Once inside the kitchen Syliph grabbed two random plates from the counter, one of which, was not what timothy had ordered. Walking outside the couple weren't even talking, silence sat awkwardly between the two, the girls gaze was clearly drifting away from her boyfriend to a couple of other younger men. Placing the food down in front of them Timothy began to complain again, "SERIOUSLY?! THIS, is what you give us after that fiasco?" Syliph blatantly ignored him and turned to the girl, mustering all his charm and looks he began to smooth talk her, " I am SO sorry for what happened earlier, maybe I can make it up to you some other time?" The girls face went from a grimace to a smile in moments, "That would be fun." She giggled. Timothy gaped at his date, "Are you kidding me? I brought you to one of the fanciest places in town and you're pawning me off for some terrible waiter?!" Syliph turned to Timothy and used all of his will not to break a smile, "hey look, I lean both ways, i can make it up to you too." Timothy almost choked on the air he was breathing. Syliph was dying on the inside, he was playing both of these un-loyal bastards. Timothy still choked on air as the girl smiled at Syliph. "How about dinner? Whoever kisses me first is the one I take on the date." Syliph's last remark was the final straw, the girl promptly stood up and gave Syliph a subtle kiss on the lips, Syliph was also sure he saw Timothy move for a split second, as if he was debating to move. "I'll see you tomorrow night at the Raincloud cafe." The girl waved and walked out the door. Turning around Syliph looked at Timothy, "That was for Melissa you bastard." Syliph promptly walked out.

Syliph sat calmly on the side of the road, it was pitch black outside and he was waiting for Melissa. From behind him the ghost girl appeared, "that was GREAT, I loved the part where you flirted with both of them, that almost set me off the edge. Oh, and here's for your good work." She handed syliph his Pumpkin pops, "Bye ghosty." Syliph smiled, Melissa floated off into the distance, she was actually kind of attractive.
