Ah Halloween... That time of the year where every eerie thing feels natural, and easily explainable just by looking at a callendar. Why just last year Alisa had her first run in with a doppleganger, as well as with a man it was imitating. Indeed the man himself might easily seem more frightening considering what she saw, the skill he displayed that left her wary of one day finding him on a battlefield, opposite hers. Alas, she didn't really see anything supernatural about the man, at least nothing she couldn't explain in terms of good old fashioned magic. Despite all that wariness, she couldn't deny a certain curiosity either, whenever she thought about meeting him again. Maybe even fighting him one on one, without meddlesome dopplegangers to get in the way...
Though she hadn't met any exceeding strong strangers, she'd already met a spirit, and it wasn't Halloween yet... This looked to be a promising year, even a few weeks yet to pass before the promised day. The spooky mood in the air was already palpable, sending shivers down spines here and there at whatever seemingly eerie occurrences one came across. The first one had very much so for Alisa, after all, she saw a ghost about 25 fathoms deep, at the shipwreck site of a decades old naval disaster.
But then, everything seems scarier with several gallons of water between yourself and fresh air, even with a heavy bottle of it strapped to your back...
I did serve as a wakeup call for her, in the sense that she should probably start looking at possible outfits for this Halloween... She spent well over two hours in it before finally deciding on a tight, silky black dress, with a alluring mix of sensual and spooky, something fitting for both an evil with and a glamour model, all in one. Hugging her generous curves left and right, it went the extra mile with sheer gaps around her thighs, midriff, and over her bust, tantalizing yet still leaving plenty for the imagination... And the passerby's agreed with her, men and women alike turning heads as she passed by, leaving a rather confident smile on Alisa's lips. And even that didn't fade when once again she heard something spoopy:
"That... Cheating... Sleazy... Good for nothing...! GAH!!! I can't believe I died thinking we had something!!!", heard Alisa, another ghostly voice not unlike the one she'd heard then. This time, it didn't startle her nearly as much, though she couldn't stop a gasp from her lips or suddenly turning to face its source, whipping her flowing raven hair around, "The cheating asshole!!!"
Indeed, the voice belonged to yet another apparition. A woman this time, dressed in casual clothes, looking just like any other person. That is, if any person had a see through body and no legs whatsoever, simply hovering around a few inches over the stony sidewalk.
"Wha...?", was all she could ask as the woman barely acknowledged her presence, simply ranting on and on about a mysterious lover whose name she didn't mention... But that didn't stop Alisa from learning a great deal about him and the deceased woman he'd cheated on. While she still lived apparently...
