He was almost alone now, being much later in the night, with only a drunk in the corner and the bartender cleaning in the back. He was about to go home if nobody else showed up, but he'd give it a few more minutes just in case an old friend managed to bust through the door. Christian was a bit intoxicated, but was aware of his limits and made sure not to overdrink a lot. He didn't want to get all emotional like he usually did when he was extremely drunk. Taking another sip of what would most likely be his last drink in this bar tonight, he sighed, hoping that this wasn't the end of this fun evening...

Alisa walked around Baska at night, wondering if today would be the day she could finally sightsee without having to think completing this or that quest. She had a pretty productive day's training, and even more productive daily quests, so she had earned her break. Of course, she couldn't tell whether or not the weather planned on cooperating with her. With such a thick overcast she couldn't even see the moon, rain wasn't a question of if, but when... Yet by the looks of it, she could probably get away with a little walk before the showers began... But then again, looks can be decieving. Before long, she started feeling wetness on her hands, and turning her head up confirmed the rain had finally come
"Again...? Ugh...", she groaned in a scarcely visible sign of frustration, thinking out loud, "My luck's been terrible these days..."
Indeed she'd been terribly unlucky with rain lately, one might argue she should probably avoid overcast days such as these, but how could an aloof loner like her ignore the golden opportunity presented by these mostly deserted streets? In a flash, she hurried for the nearest, vaguely appealing looking venue, a bar only slightly less deserted the steets leading into it. Upon arrival, her blouse and jeans had gotten thoroughly drenched, to the point that even the normally see through fabric of the former became, well, more see through, revealing the tanktop underneath. Sighing after the short little run, she at at the bar and brushed her long raven hair, tucking stray locks behind her ear as needed and flashing the bartender a smile, before asking for a drink:
"Can you make me a Long Island Ice Tea?", he nodded, "Thank you~"

It was also at this time that the young elf boy noticed this woman's shirt was very wet, and by extension very... telling. After rudely staring for a second, Christian turned around as his cheeks grew a little red. That was stupid of him, but it wasn't everyday that you saw a sight like that. He signaled the bartender to give one more drink, as he would see the woman sit down next to him. He wasn't sure if she noticed him staring or not, but he would wave to say hello anyways, even if it was obvious that his cheeks were a little red, his eyes wandering all over to avoid her clothes, and his smile and wave quite awkward.

Of course, Alisa noticed the blonde elf as she entered the venue, however could she not? There were only four people around, including herself and the barman. This turned out even better for Alisa who loathed crowds almost as much as Dark Mages. But unlike the latter, she couldn't see herself tolerating them anytime soon... That said, she smiled at the young man as her wine red gaze met his eyes of blue. It happened quickly enough considering how hard he looked at her, but then she didn't really mind. Why would she blame a man for having good taste?
"Thank you~", her faint smile widened once more as he gave her a highball glass filled with the delicious nectar she ordered, proceeding to sip it experimentally, "Hmmm~", and with that delighted hum, she took a bigger sip, unwittingly downing one quarter of the glass before she realized it, then wiping a stray droplet off the corner of her lip... As if it made a difference in her condition. The alcohol burning down her throat all but shut off that chilly feeling from her soaked attire, even if a single up close look at her revealed how she was still cold, she just tolerated it better than most...
She too enjoyed beautiful people, cute people, all manners of good looking people... Not even a sexual thing - not necessarily anyways - though it could be if the mood was right. Sometimes she even approached those people of her own voilition - be they men or woment - with a forwardness such that made them wonder if she wasn't hitting on them... Not today though. Not because the blonde wasn't pretty enough for it, but for another reason entirely: Her wet clothes clung to her body, particularly her tight jeans making the whole thing exceedingly uncomfortable. She avoid moving too much, and even then she was already forming a decent puddle underneath her bar stool...
Even the mere act of gracefully crossing her shapely legs proved wholly uncomfortable, but she did it anyway, resting her cheek over her hand, using that forearm as a headrest as her eyes once more probed her surroundings, halfway wondering if the pretty elf was still staring at her...

Looking in the bathroom, Christian would see the towels in a box on the floor. They were of cloth, and were about the size for wiping your hands with, but a bit bigger. They weren't perfect for this situation, but at least the woman could dry her hair or something. Christian took out 3 towels from the box, all of white color, and would head on out back to where the woman was.
Trying not to stare at the woman, though not really doing so well too far, he would hold out the towels towards her as he approached her. "If you'd like." He softly said, as he waited for the woman to grab the towels. He'd imagine she would want them, because if she didn't that would be odd to say the very least. Nobody enjoyed being that cold, and... see through. Well, not a normal person anyways.

Yeap, he was looking at her... Yet her considering how she must look, Alisa could hardly ascertain whether he was admiring her beauty or just bewildered by state. Indeed, there was much to be said about being drenched in public... If she ever came close to forgetting that nifty little detail, the slightest gust of wind blowing in through a crack easily brough goosebumps to her skin, sometiemes a slight, chilly shiver. Folding her arms under her bosom, Alisa rubbed and warmed both arms inbetween large sips of her drink, preoccupied not to so much with the cold but the discomfort her wet clothes brought her, clinging to her skin at every turn.
She stopped paying attention to the guy as he went to the bathroom, and instead returned to her drink, idly stirring it as if enthralled by the clinking melody of ice cubes hitting glass, and then finally taking a bigger gulp. The alcohol defenitely provided some measure of relief to her discomfort; it wasn't ideal and there were plenty of other things one could use it for... But fortunately for her, the blonde from before came back, and he came bearing gifts: Fresh towels.
"My, how thoughtful of you~", her smile widened ever so softly at the sight of the pretty elf now standing a mere few inches from her, kindly holding out a towel. With a few others on him... Not one to refuse such an offer, she promptly picked one up and put down her drink, "Much obliged.", looking curiously into his eyes before beginning the stenuous task of drying out all this water.
She start with her head of course, rubbing the towel over the top of her head, then gathering her long raven hair in a bunch, draping it over one shoulder:
"I'm Alisa by the way.", she'd introduce herself, inbetween sliding the towel down its lustruous length; seeing it as merely the most basic politeness to give your name to somebody trying to help you out.
Her hair still looked moist, yet at least now she might have passed for someone who simply took a shower before stepping out of the house. Everything from the neck down however, posed a different problem. Thankfully she had a dark tank top underneath her blouse, meaning she had no qualms taking off the latter and draping it atop a towel next to her. This naturally revealed the white brand on her shoulder, and the somewhat concealed muscle tone on her arms, evident if not of someone who fought for a living, then defenitely a person who devoted most of her time to fitness...

He noticed the woman was quite muscular compared to other woman that he had met through the years. Christian sorta wished he was like that, but in reality he was a very slim and somewhat pole-like boy. His arms were like spaghetti noodles.
Christian wanted to start up a conversation however, so he took it in him to speak. Taking a deep breath and trying to get comfortable even with a wet girl in front of him (which sounded wrong out of context) he spoke. "First time in Baska?"

She found the bashful way he looked quite cute. Truly, Alisa enjoyed having people look at her, regardless of gender, yet the way they looked naturally affected her differently. Her wine red eyes would occasionally meet his as she dried her torso, and at those moments would undoubtedly remind him how he had to to look away. He didn't really need to of course, but then she understood, after all, different women had different limits. As for the crystal sculptress, she drew the line at being seen naked, thus she was typically comfortable with anything below that, more or less depending on her mood.
The occasional melodic chuckle might reveal this to him, if he could interpret it as such...
"Lovely to meet you Christian~", she answered, her faint smile widening cool and approachably, as she finished drying her torso - at least to the point she could move around without much hassle - before moving on to the really tricky part, her jeans. Already tight to begin with, feeling drenched like this hardly made it any more comfortable.
For the first time since taking a seat at the barstood, Alisa uncrossed her legs, and properly wrapped a clean towel around her well hugged thigh, sparing a glance at who she thought might become a new drinking buddy before he wandered off to his own seat. Why? Was he so shy not to linger longer than he needed? Or did she thought she preferred being alone? Rather, he simple went to retrieve his drink, and another giggle left her lips. Of course... Smart...
He came back with it in hand, sitting at the barstool next to Alisa as she bent over just enough to reach her calves, making her full butt strain against the tightness of her wet jeans, stretching her leg out as needed to fully wrench the water out of it, top to bottom:
"Not really, but It's the first time I've stayed long enough for a proper visit.", she explained, shaking her head. With so many things to see, Alisa only realized what she'd actually missed once she had enough time to stay for a few days. She raised an eyebrow and soon shot the question back to him, trusting her instincts like she so often did, "Are you from Baska? You defenitely sound like it."

The girl said that he seemed like he was from Baska, and while Christian wondered how she figured that out, he had to admit that she was right. In all honesty, knowing all the stereotypes of people in Baska, he probably didn't want to ask anyways. "I see." Christian said to her in response to her first comment. Now for the second. "I'm from Baska, yes. I grew up here, until I moved to Crocus just a while ago."

Alisa stirred her cocktail the moment her hands were free, that same idle gesture she often defaulted to with a drink in hand, yet that lack of a distinct sound caught her attention. The ice cubes had all but melted into nothingness, and as a result the drink itself wound up tasting watered down the moment she took a little sip. An expected outcome after Alisa neglected it while drying her clothes... Doing so with towels instead of an actual dryer took long enough, but even that was far better that simply feeling soaking wet while outside and fully clothes. Nothing pleasant about that, not even if she were an exhibitionist. She had the shy but pretty elf next to her to thank for that...
In the short few moments where she managed to hold his gaze, not for a second did she wonder he might actually be older than her, with youthful features and schoolboyish charm belying his actual age...
He seemed pretty familiar with the bartender, not locals tend to ask that question more often than visitors. All of that suggested but didn't guarentee it, not unlike a verbal confirmation on his part, "Ah, Crocus...", Alisa smiled and leaned back slightly, taking a good long gulp of her cocktail, all but finishing it at once, leaving only a small gulp for later. That reminiscing, visibly delighted suggested she'd spent a pretty good time there, and indeed she had. But more than that, she clearly wanted to go there again sometime, "There's so much to do in the capital too... I trust you enjoyed your time there?"
They had found common ground easily enough, and just like Alisa, Christian also looked to be on the lookout for new acquaintances, or at the very least, to simply make conversaion. As time went on she'd gradually pivot her bar stool to face him, resting her elbow on the counter and uncrossing, then crossing the other way - thankfully now dry to the point she could do so as her whims dictated. She might eventually tell him about her affiliation to Blue Pegasus, maybe even her purpose in Baska, to clear that high ranked quest everybody had come here to try.
Although they'd share a rather pleasant time and ultimately go home with a new acquaintance, Alisa eventually departed not owing to a rather compelling mood, but instead a sound. Or in this case, the lack of one. The downpour had finally subsided, and the roaming cloud named Vollan saw this as the perfect chance to try to make it back home, before the storm again:
"I had fun, Christian.", she'd finally say, standing up from the bar and resting a hand on his arm, "I'll stop by this bar some other time, when the weather's not like...", she looked back towards the entrance, where they could yet clearly see heavy streams of water trailing down from the ceiling; pointing with her thumb as she turned back to him, "...Well, that... Anyway, see you around~"
With that, she dropped a few jewels on the counter for her drink, waved the blonde boy, and stepped outside into the night...
