So tell the gun to sin Like an angel with the dirty wings Tainted by tastes of the soul This is another level Deep in | It seemed as if time had halted for the blonde knight whereas everything around her seemed to move past in a quick blur. She couldn't quite grasp the situation but it seemed as if her body was moving on it's own, protecting her through the mere animalistic instincts that had awoken upon sensing danger. As the bolt of lightning escaped through her finger, blocking her line of sight with a sea of shocking blue, the corner of those lilac eyes spotted movement behind her. Had Alisa escaped the attack? A certain anger dwelled within her as her eyes sharpened into a glare but the blonde was more than anything else, relieved. If only her body would allow her to breathe the sigh of relief that she wished to exhale but unfortunately, her body was preparing for yet another attack. At that moment, as her body swayed, Xandra wouldn't help but find herself wishing that whatever happens, she wouldn't have to hurt her own friend. The blonde herself didn't know how she would live past the guilt if somehow, she laid a scratch on the artist's body while being conscious. As she hitched a breath, unable to locate the sculptress with her eyes, a tingling sensation arose, causing her to turn her head backwards but alas, her movement was too slow as the pressure of circular surface of the rod colliding against her skin forced her to move forward, causing her eyes to widen. As the strength of winds ceased to move in her favor, the impact of the attack she received drove her closer to the artist, who currently seemed to be her enemy. Her heart wrenched at the mere fact that they were fighting against each other, but deep down, the blonde knew that it was perhaps for the best; it was perhaps what the both of them needed to prevent anyone from getting hurt. The sight before her began to blur out as dizziness took over but moving on its own accord, against the resistance of the lightning mage, her feet dragged across the floor to slow down, if not completely halt, the movement her movement. Alas it was of no avail as her eyes remained focused on the crystal mage coming directly towards that she failed to predict the pivot of her steps moving towards her own right side. Eyes widened as moments later, a screeching sound echoed, booming through her ears as feeling a wet skin on her ears caused a loud shriek to escape her lips, drowning her further into the essence of light-headedness. Her own lightning appeared to have come to her rescue as it strengthened it's impact surrounding her body like a blanket in an attempt to keep the sculptress away. However, yet again that proved to be useless as while she fell victim to the pressure exerted upon her ears, she found herself being entrapped within the taller woman's arms that were laced around her neck, holding her in a stationary position as she could feel the pressure against the her thyroid cartilage while the flow of air became restricted, causing her to take in longer and heavier breaths. A scrutinizing pain made its way through her head as she shut her eyes, tightly, as if attempting to stabilize the pounding of her head. Her body below the neck, however, moved rapidly, going wild trying to escape from the females clutches. her arms flailed around, grabbing onto her current opponents arm tightly while her legs swung to kick the woman in the shin. The lightning around her body intensified as she tried to protect herself from the danger. As the artist could now not even be seen by the lilac eyes, all sense of feelings and emotions disappeared as the remaining consciousness was compelled into attacking vigorously against the hold on her back. All she knew was that she was in danger and had to protect herself so her hands snaked around Alisa's, holding onto them as tightly as possible, digging her nails into the woman's arms as she was just about to release some lightning in an attempt to electrocute the woman. However, it was then that the woman's voice reached her ears. It was Alisa, she knew now. It was not an enemy. Somehow, she knew that the artist wouldn't hurt her as she desperately tried to stop herself, using sheer willpower to fight against the actions of her physique until slowly, all energy drained from her. her eyes became droopy while the lightning around her slowly faded away. She was turning back to herself and she couldn't be any happier, she thought as she slipped into unconsciousness. |

She needed only one attack to connect... Even with her will intact, Xandra held little knowledge of Alisa's power to take advantage of, yet the reverse also applied. In the end, this meant whoever landed the first strike could make short work of their opponent, and for Alisa this meant defeating the knight without letting her struggle too much. Perhaps soon they may have a proper battle as two warrior mages, but any stories the future held in store would indeed be left for the future...
Yet landing the first hit didn't make the rest any easier... Lightning pierced through her nerves at that first touch, and if not for her swift flow, Alisa's chances would have been nil.
But as she applied her hold, the knight's body went wild. Elbows hit her torso, legs struck her shin, fists hammered against her head...
The sculptress grit her teeth and closed her eyes, biting back a short, pain filled gasp and simply applying more pressure on the blonde's carotid. Ten thin lines of crimson seeped from Alisa's alabaster skin from where Xandra soon sunk her nails into; quickly, they thinned under the clensing rains, all but vanishing by the point it dripped down onto the grass.
This pain...
Xandra, a girl whose friends were likely few but good... Alisa knew her well enough to feel she'd never willingly hurt her like this, completely devoid of reason. In this case, whatever pain the sculptress might experience paled in comparison to the agony the blonde might feel, emprisoned inside her own body as such. Hopefully, she may be truly unconscious and not simply a forced spectator...
She didn't electrocute her though, not as much as she could have... Oh no... This defenitely meant the girl still held some measure of awareness, and though the strength of her will touched Alisa, she worried for how she'd cope with these events.
"It's alright... It doesn't hurt at all...", reassured the artist, as the left handed grip on Xandra's head now felt more like a pet than an actual hold; only firm enough to hold steady.
Regardless, this merely renewed Alisa's drive to hold on for dear life as the thankfully minute electricity left her jittering. She mustered every breath of that Herculean endurance and budged not a single centimeter, and instead tighten her grip further. As the posessed Xandra's strength waned, Alisa allowed herself to drop down to one knee, softly easing her companion onto the wet but soft ground.
She relaxed her hold only when she felt Xandra's arms fall limp, at which point she released one arm from her neck and slipped it under the crook of the unconscious girl's knees, carrying her the rest of the way under the safety of the gazebo, sparing little attention to the rains yet showering down upon them.
There, she'd open one palm and create a shelter, a wedge-shaped crystallne barrier covering two sides of the gazebo, blocking them with a makeshift pane of glass.

- Name: Splitter

Mana Cost: 100
Requirements: Crystal Magic
Type: Defensive
Element: N/A (Crystal)
Range: 15 Meters
Cooldown: 3 Posts

Effect: By opening her palm, Alisa erects a wedge shaped crystal wall up to 4m wide, anywhere within 15m. The smooth crystalline surface works as a one way mirror: The shaded inside of the wedge is transparent, while the outer side is reflective. It can block up to A-rank damage, and if it survives its initial activation, it can be sustained and moved around via gestures.
Unfortunately, she could produce no better shelter than this, yet for the time being, it would have to do. Alisa knelt down and leaned her back against it, resting Xandra's head on her lap, and draping the girl's jacket on her bare legs. Even now she couldn't help but admire the blonde's beauty, the face of an angel in peaceful slumber. She found herself petting the girl's head, brushing stray locks of wet hair away from her face, waiting for the moment those lilac eyes fluttered open...
Alisa wouldn't leave her side before that happened...

So tell the gun to sin Like an angel with the dirty wings Tainted by tastes of the soul This is another level Deep in | Silence had always depicted to be comfort at a quieter pace but at that moment, it felt so far from it. She laid there in darkness, unable to open her eyes yet she she occasionally possessed enough consciousness to feel the touch of Alisa's body against her back or underneath her knees. However, her mind was too much of a blur to assume what happened. In a moment of consciousness, when she couldn't think of anything, only feel, she found herself feeling relieved and happy. Even through the rain, she could smell the timid yet familiar lavender sense that sent her frenzied heart into a state of calm. Moments of yet again being tossed between bliss and darkness passed as she weirdly found it peaceful. The blonde's mind felt at rest, being unable to conjure any thoughts. She could feel her body gently being laid upon the wet cold ground moments before the cold on her legs morphed into warmth after being covered by something. The gentle, warm strokes on her forehead slowly lulled her back into a state of slumber as she couldn't find the energy to speak, to move or to even open her eyes. However, every moment of happiness has to end at some point. As she grew more and more aware of her surroundings, her ears picked up the sounds of the pattering rain and the nimble roars of the thunder which flooded back a sea of memories into her head. She recalled the blue bolt of lightning, the twinging pain that coarsed through her body and the inability to move according to her own will. It was then that her eyelids flew open, revealing the widened lilac eyes as right within her line of sight, she spotted the tired and drenched artist upon whose lap her own head was resting. Reflexes forced her up into a sitting position as she rotated her upper body to face the crystal mage. Quick flashes of their brawl played across her mind as she let her eyes roam the sculptress' body, looking for signs of injure as they landed upon her arms that had ten marks upon them that continued to bleed after the rain had once washed the crimson liquid away. Eyes widening once more, unknowingly, she gasped as her hand stretched to gently grab Alisa's and pull it closer to her own for inspection. Gently brushing her fingers over the wounds, she was starting to drown into the feeling of guilt as she looked at at the rubies, not knowing what to say. "I'm...so sorry." She had never felt so vulnerable before. The mere thought of having hurt the woman who was someone she cherished deeply shattered her heart into pieces. All these feelings, these emotion were all so new to her that she didn't even know how to react. Tears stung her eyes as she blinked them away, causing a small bubble to rise in her throat. "I didn't mean to. I'm so sorry." Was Alisa mad at her? She wouldn't be surprised if the artist was. If fact, she wouldn't even be surprised if the crystal mage hated her but still, seeking forgiveness even though it was perhaps not her fault, she subconsciously kept mumbling an apology. |
Thu Dec 28, 2017 3:17 pm
She looked at ease now... As she ran her hands over the girl's head, she found Xandra sleeping peacefully, and at this point she couldn't ask for much better. In turn, she too felt all the stress and adrenaline slip away into a profound sense of relief, her body loosening as she relaxed against the crystalline pane and watched the lightning mage like a hawk.
The moment she felt her stir in her resting place, Alisa greeted the now awake girl with a tender, graceful smile. She most defenitely remembered what happened back there, enough to immediately seize the artist's hand for more than mere comfort, to assess the extent of what her transformation had inficted on her. Despite the cool roughness of her hand warming her heart at the first touch, the sculptress instead shone her an understanding look as Xandra assessed the damage, finally shaking her head and reaching her idle hand in a tender caress of the girl's pale cheek. Alisa's thumb wiped a stray teardrop away as it flowed down her beautiful face, then tucked away a loose blonde lock behind her ear:
"It's alright~... I'll heal.", her smile brightened nonetheless as Alisa repeated those same words; a soft chuckle leaving her lips - a calming presence to quell the girl's anxiety - gripping her hand a bit tighter to help get the point across. Alisa appeared no worse for wear, nor did she show any resentment, instead merely tilting her own head as she gazed into those saddened amethysts of Xandra's eyes, "More importantly, how are you feeling?"
Alisa felt confident in not having hurt the pretty knight who she'd grown so fond of, nor did she herself appear particularly damaged; after all Alisa had been hurt far worse than this. The wounds in her arms had mostly closed now and barely even stung anymore: She could still shrug off wounds of such dimension with relative ease, and betrayed no sign of discomfort to the knight's repentant gaze.
Her entire focus dedicated to soothing the girl's troubles in detriment of her own state.
Indeed, this potentially uncontrollable magic of hers posed a problem. Yet rather than shun or turn her back on her, Alisa opted for the opposite, to bring her closer and help her as much as she could, prioritizing the blonde's well being in a way she seldom did for others. As someone whose will she obviously admired, Alisa had no intention of leaving Xandra to her own devices...

So tell the gun to sin Like an angel with the dirty wings Tainted by tastes of the soul This is another level Deep in @Alisa | The soothing touch of Alisa's hand across her dampened cheek made her feel at ease. Yet, that did not stop the guilt from penetrating through the tough walls she had always built around her own heart, causing them to slowly, but surely shatter. It was rather surprising that she was unable to notice the tear that slipped out from her eye and even more so was the fact that her heart actually felt burdened enough to let her cry. She couldn't recall the last time such a thing had happened. Was it when the man who raised her passed away? No, she didn't even cry then. Perhaps, it was a side effect of the event that had just taken place but as much as she would agree with that, she couldn't. Feelings and emotions had began bombarding her from the moment she met the crystal mage. There was just something about the artist that made her want to open up more, perhaps, feel more; be it sadness or happiness, love or hate. However, the one thing she did not want to feel was the terror of having hurt Alisa without wanting to, the fright that settled within her upon the thought of the sculptress hating her and the sheer guilt of knowing that she had hurt the woman she cherished. Although the injuries on the artist were barely visible, the thought of knowing was enough to haunt her for a while at least. Staring right into the rubies that displayed nothing but kindness, her left hand raised to touch the hand that was placed on her cheek before gently squeezing it. Not willing to let go of the artist's hand, her emotions became contradictory as she felt like she should stay away from the woman for the time being. However, perhaps it was vulnerability that caused her craving for Alisa's touch to reign. Shifting her body so that she was seated right beside the sculptress, she placed their entwined hands within her lap, unwilling to let go. "I'm fine." She was relieved that Alisa had forgiven her, that she wasn't hurt but that fact alone wasn't enough to make her feel at ease. "What about you? Are you hurt anywhere else?" |

The longer they spent together the more Alisa grasped just how similar they were, and how if they'd only met a few years back, they'd undoubtedly count each other among the closest of friends, far more than they did now...
Perhaps that too came as a result of the sculptress' empathetic tendency to peer through another's eyes, to imagine how another person saw the world, which often made her misjudge any apparent similarities... The natural outcome under this inescapable constraint of her human nature. Try as she might, she'd never truly see the world true those shimmering eyes of lilac - the shades, sounds and scents Xandra alone could feel in her own way - so all that remained was simply painting as approximate a picture as she possibly could.
She always did this with most people who caught her interest, yet it felt different with her. Instead of getting close so she could understand, she wanted to understand the blonde so she could feel closer to the Knight whose beauty never ceased to dazzle her, an uncharacteristic denial of her solitary essence - a reversal of her priorities...
The people she could call close were few and far between, yet even among those Xandra stood out as someone whose bond Alisa actively sought to nurture, instead of simply seeing where the winds carried them. What feelings where these, drawing them towards each other with a nigh gravitational pull...? Could they find out simply by staying together such...? Just like her, Alisa too dreaded the thought of hurting her more that feeling pain herself.
Thus, feeling the girl seize her hand filled her heart and soul with soothing bliss, a soft gasp leaving her mouth as she returned the squeezing hold. To Alisa, that comparative roughness of the knight's skin felt softer than the finest silk, and she promptly leaned into her once Xandra too came to rest against the adamantine pane - enough they'd even out each other's weight at the shoulder:
"I'm not...", she shook her head, pulling a loose black lock behind her ear as she turned to face the blonde affectionately, "I suppose I have you to thank for that... When we fought, I felt you could have hurt me a lot more, and yet you didn't.", which lead them straight towards the elephant in the room - the very nature of the blonde's unexpected transformation - "Any idea as to what happened to you...? That blue lightning didn't look like the one you employed before..."
This proximity that always made her heart race... With naught but drenched garments adorning their bodies and chilling stormwinds against their skin, feeling close to one another provided the only comfortable measure of warmth to rely on, but Alisa needn't anything else. They'd undoubtedly remain stuck here until the storm passed, yet with each other to keep them company, however long they had would never feel enough...

So tell the gun to sin Like an angel with the dirty wings Tainted by tastes of the soul This is another level Deep in @Alisa | Silence had begun to settle in as her thumb lightly grazed over Alisa's hand, reluctant to let go. The thumping of her heart had reduced its pace, calming down as her senses were engulfed by the mere commotion of the pattering of the rain. There were some things that words could not describe. Right now, she couldn't feel anything besides the flooding sense of relief that it was all over. The blonde was simply happy with the fact that Alisa sat here, beside her unharmed. Of course, she was injured and that shattered the Knight's heart into two but she also knew that the artist was strong, possibly much stronger than herself. Perhaps it was that belief that caused her tattered heart to mend itself. She sat there, falling into a state of comfort as she felt the sculptress lean into. Instinctively, she too did the same, leaning her head and shifted her body towards the female in an attempt to get some warmth, and possibly, in a delusional hope that staying right beside the woman would prevent such a thing from happening again. A sigh of relief left her lips as her ears caught the words that left the artist's mouth. Her hold on the crystal mage's hand tightened, enough to express the feelings of joy and fear that she had been feeling but not enough to potentially hurt her friend anymore than she already had. Simply thinking about that made her feel miserable as lilac eyes, rather ashamed drifted away from those rubies towards the ground. Knowing that Alisa was right beside her was enough. She couldn't get herself to look at the Pegasus mage but also, did not want to let go because somewhere at the back of her head, she knew that Alisa's presence was what was keeping her sane at that moment. There were so many things that her mind had yet to think of, so many thoughts that would slowly torture her but having the raven-haired beauty by her side delayed the appearance of these torturing memoir from her memories. However, that short-lived happiness soon shattered upon the question that sent her heart in a frenzy. If only she could voice out, she would scream out, enunciating the fact that she did not want to speak about it or think about it. She wanted to forget it ever happened but the blonde knew that it was perhaps now or never. She would be nothing but cowardly in her own eyes if she chose to ignore the problem right now. She had to confront it, face it on her own. There were some things that simply could not be avoided, and this was one of them. Although the flood of emotions threatened to reign over her thoughts and her actions, Xandra was well aware that this of all times, was not the moment for her to feel weak. She needed to be strong. The Knight herself had no idea what had happened back there. Her shoulders visibly stiffened as she recalled the fact that it wasn't her usual yellow lightning that escaped her hands, it was the divergent blue one that had attacked her. "I don't know", she whispered before raising her free hand and letting her eyes gaze at it for moments. She was hesitant, no only because she was afraid that her senses would once again be consumed, but also because she didn't want the magic that she had grown to love, leave her so suddenly. That yellow lightning had become a part of her memory,a souvenir from her past. More often than not, she was reminded of her goals upon laying sight on her own magic simply because it reminded her of the man who raised her, it reminded her of her own parents and it reminded her of the reason she became a Knight. "I don't know." |
Wed Jan 03, 2018 10:55 am
Under the white noise of drumming rain, howling wind and roaring thunder, the two women relaxed beyond the reach of a furious storm, knowing the worst had already passed. Beside herself with worry she had been, but not anymore: The calm grasp, that soft stroke of her thumb against her hand, all reassured the sculptress that Xandra was mostly alright. Resting upon one another, their mutual heat gradually dried off the worst of the rain, and Alisa soon found herself draping her idle arm around the blonde, holding her close...
...As if letting go meant she could lose her again, or worse, watch the girl lose herself...
Yes, she too would much rather sit together in silence, a soft smile on her lips as she looked into those lilac eyes and found the same woman she'd grown to cherish. Yet she knew that sooner or later, Xandra would have to face what happened, and the sooner she did so, the less time for it to eat away at her. Might as well offer that same helping hand she always did, before they inevitably parted ways, until the winds saw fitting to bring them together again.
But Alisa's help alone wouldn't make it easy...
She felt the tension in her body as the question registered on her yet worried soul, but as much as she hated bringing it up, she knew Xandra couldn't ignore and pretend it never happened. She knew the blonde's spirit would never allow such a thing... Alisa could only hazard guesses at what struggles the knight might face against her own self, her own will... Were the sculptress in her shoes, everything - from having her body escape her control to attacking a friend - would have shaken her to the core, clouded her sight and kept her from seeing her path indefinitely.
And her magic stood at the center of it all, the eye of the storm.
It had somehow turned on her, taken on a facet as alien to herself as it was to Alisa. The sculptress knew the girl's father had passed that magic on to her, and she undoubtedly felt as if that memento had been tainted, corrupted.
While Alisa had learned her magic out of admiration for her father, she'd done so by herself, certain he'd have disapproved... He had passed on his art to her, indirectly, but what if he'd actually been the one to gift her the very weapon she'd used to carve out her will upon the world? How would she feel if what happened to Xandra had happened to her? This question weighted heavily on the sculptress was well, as she curled her lip, yearning for right words when none seemed fitting, let alone helpful:
"Your father's real treasure isn't your magic... It's you yourself.", she finally concluded, returning the tighter grip on the blonde's hand, sharing an empathetic, yet firmly resolute look into her eyes.
As cryptic as her words may sound, Alisa hoped their meaning to make its way to the blonde's heart.
She may have inherited her magic, yet change was inevitable after so long in her hands. The will and memories Xandra held so close to her heart - the person her father rose her to be - had been chiseled into her, set in stone. In the end, magic was power, and power could be harnessed, tamed by a strong, driven will. Willpower Alisa admired in Xandra, having doubt she possessed it:
"What happened there took hold inside you... If you look closely, surely you'll learn what it is.", she spoke, knowing she was probably overstepping her boundaries, poking her nose in someone else's life... She cared too much for her though - more than she ever could for most people - and that affection spurred her forth, supporting the blonde with warm, comforting words and a warmer, soothing grasp on her hand, "Don't worry, I'll be with you the whole way."
'And I won't let you forget who you are.'
Of course, if Xandra refused, Alisa would insist no further, she too frightened by the notion of alienating someone who mattered so much to her. Her instincts, however, repeated themselves, certain the knight detested not knowing...

So tell the gun to sin Like an angel with the dirty wings Tainted by tastes of the soul This is another level Deep in @Alisa | For the blonde, it felt as if life and everything that surrounded her had turned monochrome but as her ears gently allowed the sound of Alisa's words to trespass, she could feel the color leisurely returning. The entire array of events that had occurred had exhausted her, drained her of any energy as whatever was left was simply spent clasping the artist's hand within her own and looking into those rubies with a small, warm smile on her lips. The knight couldn't express how grateful she felt that she wasn't alone. If she were, it would've been quite possible for her to lose any ounce of thoughts or sanity she possessed after feeling so exploited. The dejection that was awaiting within her heart was suppressed simply by the presence of the Pegasus mage. Xandra couldn't even dare to imagine what would have happened if Alisa was not there, right beside her. She had always felt thankful and grateful to have the woman by her side but never had she expressed it to the beauty in words. It seemed that she would do the same yet again. She simply couldn't bring herself to reveal how much Alisa mattered to her in words because it wouldn't feel enough so the only thing she could do was place her other hand on top of their joined hands and squeeze, nodding upon the words that left the lips of the sculptress. It was thanks to the raven-haired beauty that the blonde found her willpower returning. Alisa was right, she had to find out what it was and that's exactly what she planned on doing and as much as she wanted the artist to be by her side, she knew that this was something that she would have to do herself. Heaving a sigh, she shifted closer towards the woman as silence engulfed through. The pattering of the rain reduced before becoming nil within moments. The rain had finally passed. Chill air surrounded the two women. It was time. Using the same hand she placed over their entwined hands, she pushed herself off the ground before gently tugging on Alisa's to help her up. If and when she too would have stood up, the blonde's body would move on its own accord, moving closer and placing a soft peck on that artist's cheek, letting her lips linger there for a few moments before pulling back. "It's getting late and cold. You should go and get some rest." If only she could walk with the woman back, accompanying her on her way home but she couldn't. There were so many things she had to find out and she couldn't find herself leaving the place without doing so. The blonde appreciated the artist's company more than she could express but she couldn't rely on Alisa forever. There were things that she had to do on her own, things she had to do to grow stronger. "I'll....stay here a little longer." |
Sun Jan 07, 2018 3:48 pm
Like a lone thunderbolt and a wandering cloud, any meetings between the two women yet remained short and fleeting, a radiant sight belying the power they both held. From their very nature, Alisa knew the time for parting would come eventually... Yet with the very atmosphere filled with equal parts affection and admiration between them, Alisa only merely hoped that time could wait a little longer as she commited every moment with Xandra to the most precious of memories... The warm tenderness of her hands, the glistening pink of her lips, the willful lilac of her eyes...
The last of these seemed stronger than the last few moments, hinting at how Alisa's words might indeed have gotten through to the blonde. Her smile widened in turn as she held Xandra against her, at that moment it truly felt the troubles plaguing the pair had finally left them be, with the Knight reciprocating the confidence Alisa placed in her. Perhaps one day Alisa might understand why she cherished her so, yet as they cuddled under the not as furious storm, she didn't care as much:
The sculptress merely welcomed the joy of sitting with her like this; on a cold but sheltered gazebo where the other's presence provided the only measure of warmth and comfort. Hopefully, she'd see for herself where Xandra's path would lead her, perhaps she'd walk some of that path alongside her as they'd done today.
And soon, it appeared their time together was indeed nearing its end: The stormy weather that had driven them to refuge had now subsided. Alisa turned her head around as if to confirm it did indeed stop raining cats and dogs like it had been for the past few hours. And in that moment of looking away from Xandra, she felt the girl stand up from her grasp, soon followed by a delicate but insistent tug on their joined hands. Beaming at the ever stunning blonde, Alisa nodded and graciously accepted the assistance standing back upright.
Indeed, she disliked parting ways with her... Yet Xandra too was at her most beautiful while roaming free of her own accord, unbound by nothing and nobody but her own will.
Her eyes widened at the sudden closeness, and
that plush warmth of Xandra's lips earned a warm, faint redness in Alisa's cheeks; which she returned right afterwards with a tender kiss to the blonde's own cheek. Alisa's free hand found its way to the girl's shoulder, a casual touch while returning the show of affection and bidding goodbye in the same gesture.
"What about you?", asked Alisa, tilting her head, her thumb gliding along the back of the blonde's hand. She already knew the answer, and yet, she had to ask... And got the answer she expected, yet she couldn't even bring herself to feel disappointed, instead smiling as cool and warmly as ever, "I see... Well, I wish you the best of luck."
Alisa objected, of course... She wanted to help her get through this, tell her she didn't have to do it alone. But for all her worries, Alisa merely sighed and resigned herself. From one loner to another, she knew she'd have no way of convincing a girl like Xandra after she'd set her mind to this extent. That willful look in those lovely eyes of hers had now returned, and that was enough for the sculptress:
"Do let me know how it went, alright? Hopefully I'll see you soon~", with one last long look into those amethyst orbits, Alisa flashed the blonde her brightest smile, and slowly opened her palm, letting Xandra's hand slip free. She felt a nudging emptiness as opposed to the fulfilling, comforting tingles holding her hand gave her...
Yet she replaced that void soon enough with the vivid notion that she'd see the Knight again, and when she did, she'd have taken yet another step further on her path. Alisa clearly hadn't the luxury of slacking off, or this girl - growing stronger by the day - would undoubtedly overtake her. As a lone gale sent their long hair fluttering at its command, Alisa finally turned around and waved her friend goodbye, leaving her to the inevitable mastery of her newfound power...

So tell the gun to sin Like an angel with the dirty wings Tainted by tastes of the soul This is another level Deep in | The warmth continued lingering on her cheek along with the tips of her fingers as she could only watch the raven-haired beauty retreat into the darkness. Each step the artist took away from her slowly shattered the confidence she held mere moments ago. It reminded her of the fact that whatever it was she had to face, she would have to do it alone and it would come off as a lie if she claimed against the fact that it instilled fear within her. Alisa was like a beacon of hope and strength for her. When her hands had found their way into Alisa's, she felt like she could conquer the world. There was nothing that could stop her from becoming stronger but it seemed as if she had subconsciously relied on the sculptress so much. Weakness and vulnerability had managed to taken over her consciousness which fought back but her muscles simply weren't capable of standing again. Her body fell into a sitting position as her hand held onto the railing of the gazebo for support. An unsettling feeling dwelled within her heart as her eyes barely managed to stay awake.
