Odin had actually visited the men, and watched their execution in the main square of Dahlia, hood raised so as not to attract any attention. A hanging, with the rope curled around their necks, all the while the men screamed that they were innocent, a fact known only to Odin and the Bishop. The hanging was an interesting sight, more because of the crowd than the victims. Humans were very primal in nature, Odin knew this well having dealt with many different types of them, and it was known to him that the mob could be worked into a frenzy no matter their morals. The three farmers were obviously innocent, and anyone in the town that knew them could have easily attested to that and started a riot. But the spectacle of the hangman's noose, and the screams of panic of the men about to die, it riled the crowds up. Men, women, even a few children cheered as the men died, it was truly an interesting thing to witness.
But tonight was a new night, with a new request, and a new note from a stranger. A man only known as 'the Heretic' wished to meet with Odin to discuss a partnership. The note required the dark mage to be at at specific place at a specific time, which he did without any issue. Arriving five minutes earlier to check for an ambush, Odin eventually saw a frail old man approach, wearing only a red robe that covered his entire form. Despite his frail figure, he spoke with the voice of a commander, or of someone who knew how to lead men. The first few moments were spent with the man, who introduced himself as Adarian the Heretic of the Red Hades cult, marvelling at Odin's form, no doubt having never seen a Lich before.
