Stepping inside she was surprised by the gentle warmth that enveloped her, looking around she noticed the moaning people. One man had part of a fishing spear sticking out of his arm, Elexia resisted the urge to rush to his side, she didn't want to startle the poor man, he seemed to be in a bucket load of pain. "ELEXIA!, Over here!
My name is Kaita, let me show you what you need to do, thankyou so much for helping, were vey low on staff today. There's just some dirty things that I need you to empty." Kaita waved her hand to an assortment of different materials used in healing. Elexia straightened her clothes, she had grown up in a sewer, so a few dirty pots were nothing compared to the what had been outside her little house in the sewer. Elexia shook her head, "This'll be no problem Kaita, I'll come get you when I finish the job." Elexia said. Kaita smiled and said thank you, she turned around to leave and continue with her duties. Elexia smiled and waved, and a deep dark voice whispered up from the darkness in her soul, "She might have knowledge on where some Illumin priests are." Elexia shook her head, and something deep inside began to grab at her insides, trying to crawl up. Taking deep breaths she pushed it back down as hard as she could, yet it still climbed around inside her. The wind in the hut began to pick up and Elexia's hair fluttered with a ethereal presence. Using some of her mana she pushed hard and smashed the demon inside her back down into the depths of her heart where it would lay unconscious once again. Taking shallow breaths Elexia placed her hands on her knees, "You will never succeed demon, I'm stronger than you, and you are some parasite born from sadness, begone!" she whispered.
Standing back up Elexia grabbed buckets of old water and some other foul smelling stuff she didn't want to know what it was, and took it outside to dump off the edge of an ice-cliff. Nanuq was beautiful and the quiet, but busy feel to it pleased Elexia, she felt that if she lived here she would never feel pressured by any thoughts of her inner-demon and she didn't think any illumin would make it in here to re-awaken her inner-demon, maybe stopping her life and moving here wouldn't be a bad idea, she could finally have enough time to take a breath before something bad happened. Going back inside she walked over to the dirty healing pools that were full of "disease sludge", at least that's what Kaita had called it. Rolling up her sleeves Elexia leaned over and scrubbed hard at the disease sludge, which came up with surprising ease to Elexia's delight, in fact it came up fast enough that Elexia finished with enough time to watch some healing sessions.
Stepping inside quietly Elexia sat down at the edge of the room. The healers lifted the man with the fishing spear sticking out of his arm into a glowing healing pool. Elexia was about to listen more intently but she noticed a dirty bowl at the far end that she thought she should clean. Standing up, she grabbed the bowl and listened intently as she walked out.
"Make sure you cast the spell with extreme precision, if we don't, we may cause a fatal infection in that area, and we don't want to cause more pain." said one of the healers, one nodded her head and whispered under her breath quietly, and the glowing water rose and swiftly seeped into the man's wound. After a few tense moments one of the healers stood up and removed the spear from his arm. The healing process was calm and amazingly effective. Elexia smiled and walked out of the room, she felt good about doing this for them and now she knew more. Emptying out the last bowl she waited patiently outside the room Kaita was in to get her reward. Unfortunately a good attitude didn't pay the inn bills.
After Kaita was finished she handed her reward to Elexia who gratefully accepted it, no questions asked, "Thank you so much for helping Elexia, it get's real busy around here, and Nanuq doesn't get a lot of wizard traffic because its so out of the way." She said. Elexia smiled, "Don't worry, i've got a good feeling about this place, who knows, maybe i'll move here one day." Elexia said. Kaita smiled, but before Elexia could leave she said one more thing,"Come back another time, next time you'll get to experience a real healing session, you'd be great at it." Kaita said, a smile on her face. Elexia smiled and waved. Removing her fan from her belt Elexia walked outside into the lightly falling snow. Walking down her favorite path, she walked past some beautiful tundra flowers. Picking some of the beautiful white petaled flowers, she placed them in her hair. Flowers were beautiful in her opinion and deserved to be shown off to anyone who would take the time to look.
Looking over the town Elexia smiled, she truly loved this town in all of its unknown, hidden beauty, little people came here, which made little known about it, and Elexia was going to learn all about it. hiding her face behind her feathers, Elexia said a silent prayer to the zodiac, but unlike her brother, she said it in Fiorian (englis), "Aquarius, Libra, help me learn. Libra help me find the truth of this town, Aquarius help me find the culture."
