Serenity leisurely latched onto the surroundings as the sun's light was penetrated by the tranquil darkness that reigned over the small, narrow alley. Of course, there was enough light to allow the pupils of the eyes to catch a glimpse of what lay within that darkness; concrete floor covered in dirt and old, unused objects disposed towards the corner as they clung to the walls.

On both ends of the alleyway were openings that allowed light to illuminate the corners but alas, the heavy sheet of ebony was too strong. Standing there, in the midst of the vicinity was an individual, leaning her back against the wall. A pair of round glasses rested on the bridge of her nose as even within the murk, the crimson eyes glided over the inked text on the white pages. She, or rather, he enjoyed the quietude that came with the lack of population as the only sound that could be heard was his soft, melodious whistling drowning the faded commotion of the people on the streets.

N was enjoying himself. The scarcity of humans and the lack of brightness served as the perfect surroundings for him. However, it all came crashing down as his ears caught the sound of another melodious, deep whistle that mingled with his feminine, high-pitched one. His lips halted as his gaze refused to falter. Allowing his expression to stern at the mere thought of a disgusting human walk in on his moments of enjoyment, he closed the book shut with one hand.

His eyes shut in annoyance when suddenly, a gush of pain seeped through his head. He couldn't have been happier as he found himself fading into unconsciousness. Reopening those eyes, she let out a grunt along with a noises that sounded like an 'ugh'. Clutching her head, she murmured a string of colourful words as she completely ignored the sound of the sole whistling. Looking above, she could see the blue of the sky peek through from the buildings that shielded it. "Are you bloody serious?" Freya spoke to herself as her eyes shut in annoyance. "I wonder if any bars will be open at this time."

A rush of heat went through her as she sighed, feeling uncomfortable in the maroon red full-sleeved button down paired with jeans and sneakers. Unbuttoning the first few buttons, she heaved a sigh, disgruntled at the fact that her signature red lipstick was unavailable to her. Tossing the book onto the ground, she removed the glasses hung them on the deep neck of her shirt. Indeed, Hargeon was a pathetic town in the morning, as for her, it was highly unlikely to get a drink or a man at this time. But luck was in her favour. Glancing to the side, she saw a young man approaching, carrying with him stuff she didn't bother to figure out. A small smirk broke out on her lips, "While I'm here, might as well have some fun."
