Her goal was Baska and she didn’t know what would await her there yet, but the merchant village was actually one of the few places that Seira did not frequently visited so she decided that it was time to stop by and see what it was all about. Espeon certainly could use some time away from the large cities as well. Seira usually only stopped by Baska to walk over to Oak Town (which didn’t have a train station on it’s own) but this time she would stay. After finishing her meal Seira and Espeon went to the train station of Orchidia where they would purchase a ticket to Baska and wait for the next train to arrive.
The train travel in itself wasn’t very eventful. As always, there were mostly people who wanted to visit Oak and Baska was merely a stop in between, but there were also a few people who were heading straight to the merchant town. Generally speaking, Seira would always prefer the south over the north and especially compared to towns like Hargeon and Magnolia, Oak was almost gloomy, so she hoped Baska wouldn’t be like that. Once they arrived and Seira and Espeon left the train, they decided to find an inn first in which they could check in and store their belongings away as well as get some rest.
