Granted, he also has a few quirks that make him stand out. Starting off, he has a fairly average build. Athletic, perhaps, would be a good description of it. No real fat is visible on his body, but he looks pretty healthy aside from that. Normally what he wears is either his pirate type clothing, or, if bored, he will wear something much more comfortable. A t-shirt, jeans, and boots come to his mind. His stature is not one to make note of, and his stance is usually rather lax. Due to his adult appearance, Zanto has a little facial hair to really speak of. Besides that his skin is smooth and tanned, making him seem quite well-off in the health department. It's obvious he does his best to keep himself well. His hair is red-colored; its locks being rather straight for the most part, though, some parts of it stick out for one reason or another, giving him an almost goofy appearance to add to it. He doesn't really take care of it as much as he takes care of other things, causing it to look a bit wild or even quite messy at times. Possibly the one thing that stands out about the youth are his eyes. They are a deep red as if the blood from his enemies soaked into his iris’s. Often times, one can see them gazing side to side, trying to gain as much information as possible. One could even say they looked rather innocent. Overall, his facial features are also nothing to speak of. A chiseled face, and an average. Either way, his sstrong cheeks are often dusted with a darker color, perhaps because he's always moving around and active when he can be. Of course, being like that, he also gets quite sweaty and dirty at times. He'll wash when neccesary, however, and tries to do a good job with it. Sometimes, too much of a good job. Sometimes, he will have scabs that are caused by himself from scratching at himself or scrubbing too hard! Extra: Usually where’s a bandage over tattoo Personality Personality: Zanto has a well-defined personality. He is not unstable. He is not mad like most of the Magic Users are. He is a man that has firm beliefs, and looks on the world through prism of his beliefs. He follows his beliefs with vigor, always wiling to go to great lengths for the sake of his goals and beliefs. He is not a perfect man, but he tries to be the best he actually can. It is no easy task in these dark times of turmoil and war. Zanto is not easy to understand, and his behavior is not always backed up with clear reasoning. What affects his views, thoughts, actions, philosophy and his general personality are following things: his love towards animals, the magic within his body believes in, strong need and love for battle and finally his taste for blood and fighting. Everything he does, thinks, every action he plans and takes, everything is heavily influenced by those things. Always will Zanto act according to what he thinks and believes. He is calm, overall, but can get angered. Some things will anger him outright on very sight, like idiots and wizards of rival guilds. But Zanto can hide, ignore and control his rage, as situation demands it. He knows better than to let it get the best of him. Also, anger control prevents him from being rash, and looking immature. Zanto knows very well that looking immature is bad for his image, which is very important to him. He tries to keep image of respected, calm, mature, wise Wizard, potential leader of a guild one day, as he knows that his goals might be a lot further away from their completion if he was not as he presents himself to the world. Zanto is a stoic, disciplined man, something which the family installed in him, and that trait will always remain with him. Breaking discipline, bending rules, that are all things that Zanto does not likes, but if there is a need great enough then he will justify or perform such actions. After all, the goal itself justifies the means. And if means are directly opposed to the rules, than the severity of situation decides whether rules or means will prevail. This concept is directly translated into actions, as far as Zanto’s actions are concerned. But Zanto is also very open man, and very intelligent one. He can listen and take into consideration new concepts, new ideas, an any reasonable suggestions. But he tries not to break greatest taboos, for a man must draw a line somewhere. With his intelligence, Zanto will quickly analyze all that ideas, and see what is good, potentially usable, and what is useless. His intelligence is also useful in conversations with other people, since he will analyze their personalities based on their words. He can pick up subtle traits of other people and notice some of their flaws really quickly. This can be useful, but that is not a rule. Sometimes he can't read people at all. Sometimes, he can. It depends on the other person. In dealing with others, Zanto tries really hard to be fair. But it is quite hard, since he looks at others trough prism of his doctrine and his beliefs. And of course, based on how they dress. Somebody who wears clothes Zanto deems unfashionable or ugly, they can expect colder reception. And vice-versa, naturally. Of course, wizards other than the guild cannot hope to get anything except dislike, hatred and sometimes unprovoked attack. This is bad, but Zanto’s belief in the guild supremacy is not a thing that can change. Zanto , as already said, believes in doctrine of guild supremacy. He strives towards placing any guild he joins on top of the hierarchy of the great Guilds, and aims to eradicate and wipe out other Guilds if they ever try to hurt his people. For the sake of peace, he believes that they must be destroyed. As an extension of that doctrine, racism and xenophobia are strongly carved into Zanto’s personality. No magician save for the those in the guild is seen as friendly, and that is quite a flaw, especially in the world as it is today. Zanto’s attitude and reaction to presence and existence of other, guilds, is quite damaging. That is not what Zanto aims, or wills to change. He keeps his beliefs as they are, and strives to complete the goals that he set for himself, of which many are dictated by guild supremacy doctrine. His goal being to becoming one of the Great Mages and someday a Guild Master. Aside from that, Zanto loves animals. He loves pets. He will adopt animals he sees abandoned, or just feed them and give somebody a task of getting animals a new home. He is very caring about animals. Especially about his pets, which he keeps quite a few. One white cat, one small bulldog, two hamsters, few tropical fishes, pigeon and parrot. With all of those animals sharing their life space with him, it is always interesting. Zanto adores his pets especially because there is not a single dull moment with all of them. Battles are also integral and important part of his life and personality. Zanto seeks them out, savors them, enjoys in them. Battles are what he needs, what he cannot live without. Zanto won't seek battles out at any cost, but he will welcome any that actually find him first. His behavior in battle itself is rather simple. Fight and enjoy, of it is a battle that he wants. If not, if that particular battle is unwanted by Zanto, but still inevitable, he will aim to finish it as fast as possible, sacrificing his pleasure of fighting for the sake of ending it and not forcing himself to do what he does not want to. Zanto is just a young man, though. Gentleman, perhaps. Racist towards other guilds, certainly. Animal lover, even more certainly. He has firm beliefs. He has goals set high, yet all are possible with enough time and planning. He is The Great Scourge. He is Lucky Z. He is the future of Phantom Lord. Likes: Knowledge- Zanto strives for knowledge as he is a man who wants to become one of the greatest Mages in existence. Power- Zanto yearns for power as a man who doesn’t have much power won’t be able to be a great mage. Animals- Zanto has a large love for animals and is considered his soft spot. Dislikes: Idiots- Zanto really hates people who display themselves as not being smart. This is one of his pet peeves. Kids- Children are a hindrance that are the cause for many things. Motivations: His guild- Zanto is extremely motivated by the guild itself as it gives him the strength to become more powerful and smarter each and everyday. Life- life itself gives Zanto motivation because he knows that as long as life his in his body he can achieve greatness. Fears: Death- The only thing that Zanto fears is death itself as he won’t be able to achieve anything if he is dead. Magic Magic Name: Power of Zeus Magic Element: Lightning Magic Description: Lightning Magic is a branch of Elemental Magic that utilizes electricity, more specifically, lightning, as a form of offense and defense. Mages who possess the ability to utilize such Magic are able to generate these elements from their bodies, and manipulate them, even shaping their attacks as they wish. Users of Lightning Magic are also capable of utilizing lightning from a distance, such as from the ground near them, or down from the sky. Lightning attacks work by electrocuting the opponents to various degrees, and there are spells that are said to be capable of completely paralyzing enemies, due to the extremely high voltage of the electricity employed in their use. Because of the high amounts of light produced with its use, Lightning Magic can also be utilized to blind opponents, albeit for a short amount of time. Similar to other types of Elemental Magic, Lightning Magic can allow the user to transform their body into the element they control: by transforming into a lightning bolt, the user is able to avoid physical attacks, and have the added advantage of traveling around at very high speeds and damaging everyone or everything they come in contact with, much like real lightning. Able to use offensive, defensive, and self buff spells. History History: Like most, Zanto grew up studying the arts of magic, Lightning magic to be more specific as it was the magic his whole family prioritized. Though Zanto was considered a rarity amongst the family as his power with Lightning Magic seemed to be more powerful than all of theirs which led to them despising him. Due to sheer power alone, he became the black sheep of his family and was casted out of his home at the mere age of eight to roam the world by himself. Zanto almost killed his self, but knew that it would bring peace to him. As he grew he heard the names and tales of the many powerful Mages and wished to be just like them. For years he studied the world’s history and the arts of Lightning Magic. Becoming more powerful each and everyday before eventually he was approached by the likes of a Dark Guild. They put many suggestions in his head to get him to join, but he would simply blow them off and continue his journey as guildless until he found someone worthy. Reference: No one |
