Personal Name: Kazuki Kobayashi Age: 21 Gender: Male Sexuality: Male Class: Beserker Rank: D-rank Guild: Fairy Tail Tattoo: Back of left hand, orange in color Face: Guy Cecil - Tales of the Abyss Appearance Height: 5'7" Weight: 145 Hair: Blonde Eyes: Blue-green Overall: Standing at average height, Kazuki is of fair features with tanned skin from years of playing outside as a small boy. His golden hair is generally messy, but styled, swept out of the way of his blue-green eyes. He wears a long sleeved dress shirt, the sleeves rolled to mid-arm. Over this a vest, lined with pockets on the inside where he keeps his few valuables such as trinkets from home. His hands are covered by gloves when in combat, though outside of combat he tucks these into the band of his hide trousers. His boots are also made of hide, the soles reinforced rubber. Around his neck is a single piece of jewelry, a necklace with a locket containing a single seed from his home town. Extra: None Personality Personality: Kazuki isn't one for being serious, though there certainly is a time for that. He copes with every situation with jokes, quibs, and mostly innuendos. Every new person met is a friend that just doesn't know his name yet, and even strangers have been accosted with him wrapping an arm around their shoulder as he speaks to them. These lack of personal boundaries aren't his fault though, coming from a small village of less than fifty people. Despite this, it isn't like he doesn't know any better but rather he hides behind the facade of a cocky rogue to shield his true self: a young man fraught with self doubt and dreadfully homesick. He is earnest in his dealings with people, though, and always truthful--sometimes brutally so. He values his friends as family, coming from a small village, and thus becomes very defensive of them as if they were members of his family. He is a spiritual person, raised with a belief that all living creatures--be they bird, plant, or the earth itself--has a spirit that can be communed with. Because of this, his village has long practiced magic that draws upon these things to protect them. The magic varies person to person, and each is allowed to find their own path via communing with the spirits. In battle the jokester fades to a raging brute, utilizing the most primal of instincts to brutalize his opponents in any way possible--even if it's beating someone unconscious with a rock. No weapon is beneath him. Of course he can discern friend from foe, but mercy isn't in his vocabulary once fists (or spells) begin flying. Likes:

Magic Magic Name: Terra Force Magic Element: Earth Magic Description: Terra Force has various uses and is a versatile magic; however, Kazuki focuses on the unbridled fury of it's offensive style. The earth beneath his feet is his weapon, capable of forging weapons from it, coating himself in it, shaping it at will, and even commanding it to an extent. Because he focuses on the wrath of nature, Kazuki can only use offensive, supplementary and spells that increase both his endurance and strength. History History: Kazuki was the son of a Hunter and a Shaman from his small village. His mother, skilled with a bows and eyes like a hawk, provided food for the village and protected them from external threats and his father soothed the spirits. When the duo found out they were with child, the spirits spoke of a boy with a fury to rival the spirits themselves, destined to travel--to leave the home they coveted. As such, when he was born and was indeed a boy they decided that they should cherish their time with him before he left. He wasn't the sole child, growing to the age of three before his sister was born into their family. Kazuki grew up normally with her, praying to the spirits before bed, playing with other children. The first time his temper manifested was when his sister was bit by a particularly venomous spider while they were playing. She had reached into a hole in the ground, believing that it was the burrow of a mouse. Small as she was, she wanted to play with the cute creature--but instead found the burrow of the spider. A single prick drew tears, and within the hours she lay in bed shallow of breath. Kazuki, beside himself with grief because he was supposed to protect her, decided that if the spider was to take her life--he would its. He gathered dry grass from nearby the hole and shoved it in before using a flint and rock to light the dried kindling. As the creatures fled their burning, smoking den, Kazuki stomped each and every one that fled. None escaped his wrath. His parents, finding Kazuki standing over a smoke hole, asked him what he had done. He had explained, and he was immediately chastised and punished. This was his first lesson of balance. The spider was protecting it's home, where as Kazuki was only seeking vengeance. They were not the same, and Kazuki understood that his actions were evil and not noble. As he grew, the lessons did as well, and while his sister lived he never truly forgave himself--despite nobody blaming him. After all, is it not a big brothers place to protect his sister? As he reached the age of 18, adulthood for his village, Kazuki performed their Rite of Spirits--a sort of passage into adulthood. Every adult did this, to see what their role would be in the village. For some, the spirits offered magical gifts to aid the village in some way--hunting, gathering, spiritual healing. Kazuki was the first to receive a blessing that did none of those--he was nature's wrath. The spirits spoke of him traveling, of writing the wrongs that the Great Mother's children committed. While the creatures of the planet were hardly peaceful, wolves killing to eat as humans did, there was balance. None were as destructive and merciless as humans--though they were born from the same Great Mother as all the other creatures, they had simply lost their way. And so, Kazuki left the village as the spirits had said he would, leaving his family behind. It wasn't long after he had joined Fairy Tail, unable to bear the loneliness that his home life hadn't prepared him for. It is here that he continues his work, fixing the damage that humans inflict to their Great Mother for their own selfish gains. They are both her greatest enemy, and greatest ally.
