Victor noticed her change in attire. At least she won't have to deal with her heels anymore was the first thought that crossed his mind. While she rarely mentioned them, he'd noticed the way she had to shift her weight, how she had to take quick probably painful steps to keep up without hurting herself... He cocked his head as he assessed her fresh appearance from afar, making his way to her slowly, he'd initially considered travel by train, but the man was in no great rush, things could be slowed down just a little, giving him some more time to assess whether his partner would deem worthy enough for him to take their little relationship further, in whatever capacity that may be...
He carried his rucksack in a hand, on his side. Upon reaching her he set his bag beside his feet as he offered her the idea of travelling to Crocus by foot. 'Might be better if we just walked it? What do you say?' he asked but laid out all the things he thought made it a great idea, hopefully, he assumed that it'd shut out any cons that she'd come up with, from his calculations the only thing he could think off, that she might complain about, was extra time it'd take...
'It would be longer yes...' he started, slicing through the biggest issue and attempting to out weigh it. 'But we would get a nice view of the other towns on the way.' he said, brightly, he hoped his smile was infectious enough for her to give in to the give us the option of the temptations he created. 'Think about it... we could also stop by and go sightseeing on the way, or we can make a note of things we'd like to see and do on another trip...' he offered. 'Either way, we'd probably have at least a night in each town that we cross...' he said.
Victor went on to unzip the pocket stitched into the front of his bag to release a mini-map of Fiore. He placed his finger on Crocus and traced the journey he had planned. 'Gives us a chance to get a taste of... Dahlia, Magnolia and Era...' he said, scowling a little before he reconsidered the first town. 'I think we'd be better off skirting around Dahlia though... I've heard some nasty things about that place.' he said sagely. He had all intentions of visiting Dahlia but given the way the accidental murder of the Page had rattled Phoebe a little, he wondered if she was ready to take the plunge with him, now was definitely not the best time to test that.
The blonde had carefully avoided the topic of their most recent request, there was no need to dig up any skeletons that they'd begun gathering in their backyard... or closet... His fingers reached out to her cheek to sweeten the deal with a gentle caress. 'Above all this, it'd give us some time to relax without anyone giving us errands to run every five seconds...' he said tentatively, but a soft allure to his voice as his finger traced her jaw. Once she agreed, he'd shove his map back into his bag, pull the straps onto his back and start the journey, one that would culminate in Crocus... The target, the land of war, the famous Capital.
