Early in the morning Sorcha woke up, the sun was still working on getting up herself and Sorcha liked this moment, to spot people waking up and go to their jobs and so on. It was of course different in the elven realm and she had to be honest that she liked that more than here. Some people were so loud here, yelling at others to get out of their way and so on. Of course that didn’t happen yet, people were probably preparing to leave their houses but it would happen soon enough in a couple of hours, perhaps even less. She sat on the side of her bed and stared out of the window that had a view on the Eastern forest, she liked this little place, so natural, with their own garden where they made their own vegetables or well most of them. She stood up and stretched out, which made her wince a little about the pain in her arms, it would go over soon and she got a couple of herbs of it to support her muscles and of course she had expected this after yesterdays job. She definitely would just go and not complain about it. She looked at the little stash of jewels on her little wooden desk and was quite okay with the amount, she would have to see to which town she would go next but at the moment, she had given up on finding answers in Magnolia. The only lead was arrested by the new regime of the emperor and Sorcha was okay with that, you don’t want a man who made slaves walk around freely but she should perhaps ask the Rune Knights if they could give her some answers. Right now she wanted to leave Magnolia as soon as possible.

She walked into the small room that was a part of her room, which was a little bathroom, big enough for her alone and since she had a single bedroom, it made sense. She turned the water on the right temperature and got rid of her clothing before she stepped underneath the shower. The herbs she needed for the muscle pain were there and she took them in her hand and massaged her shoulder blades with it. Soon there was some relieve in the pain and she would continue to her elbow and once she was done she dropped them outside the shower cubicle and started to wash her hair with other natural shampoo and hurry up. She wanted to do something today, she could use some more jewels for her room in this inn and the idea that she would find a place to stay somewhere else once she would go away. Perhaps she could ask someone for a spot. She quickly finished showering and took a towel to dry herself off and another to work on her hair, which dried rather quickly. When she dressed in her normal attire, she stepped out of her room, to find a job.

As the auburn haired elf was on her way to the quest board, which she only learned about recently. Most of the time she simply bumped into a quest, like with Khalash and with Barras, which was very easy but it made her sometimes a bit dumb with where she would find the job, today was such an easy day as well. She walked past the Kardia Cathedral when she heard a voice call out to her as; miss elf. She turned around and looked at a man that obviously seemed to belong to the church considering his clothing. The man apologized for calling her miss elf but he wondered if she would want to help him out, so he introduced himself as Father Jerad and she introduced herself as Sorcha. She asked the Father what the job was that he had in mind, than she looked around them and noticed the ill looking people and she thought she might have an idea what this quest could be about.

Father Jerad indeed asked if she would be able to help him give out the medicine and he handed her a bit and she looked at it, surprisingly she could see it was quite a natural product and she was glad to see the church supported and nodded, she could deal with this. So she got a couple more of the medicine and helped Father Jerad spread it to the ill people. Which wasn’t only at the church it was also taking care of the family members that send their ill beloveds to the church and so she had to walk a few miles first before getting back to the church and help people there. When she was done and headed back to where Father Jerad stood talking to an elderly woman. Sorcha waited until he was done talking before giving him the short version of how she accomplished her job. Father Jerad thanked her and handed her some medicine as well as jewels, which she quickly pocketed before going into the back of the church where the father gave her a glass of water so she could take in the medicine with ease. He gave her a short list with symptoms but he was sure she would be fine thanks to the medicine already. He just wanted to be sure. With that Sorcha quickly went out of the church, it didn’t feel right to be in a place where people worshipped a god that she didn’t believe in. Mostly because she had her own religion as an elf of course. She stepped out of the church and looked over her shoulder back to it and wondered how their religion worked but she didn’t feel the need to delve into it. She made sure that everything was with her before she headed on to her destination, it had take an couple of hours but it was still early so she could surely do another job today right? She was sure of that.
