Rishi had woken up today with Venus laying right next to her, his soft fur rubbing against her arm. She pet the soft curls on his head and got out of bed, getting to her daily routine. She had gotten in the shower today, and the steam from the water had practically filled the whole hotel room. She loved her water hot, and though most people didn't like it because it burned their skin, she didn't really get burned by the water. She put on her clothes and dried her hair, making it very poofy. That was something new about her hair that she sort of didn't like, as she had to spend much longer than she used to do brushing it out, which was a bit more than annoying. Today she was going to complete another request, and the requests in the town of Orchidia were rather odd. She had never met so many oddballs in one city, and certainly not worked under any. This town was very different, and Rishi kind of didn't like it, in this case at least. Today she would be babysitting one of the elders of Orchidia, as the normal caretaker had been gone for the day, or at least that's what she had been told. She had assumed that this quest was going to come with many difficulties, as caring for the old could be rather irritating. The grey haired mage didn't have too much of a problem with irritating for a short period of time, but hanging around all day like that... she probably wasn't going to last as long as she would want to. She finished up and set out to Orchidia apartments, Venus trotting at her side. The streets had been pretty lively today, and the flowers seemed to be coming in. Of course there were always flowers that were around all year but as spring was approaching, so were the colorful flowers. She could already get glimpses of the yellows and blues and purples and so many other vibrant colors. She was excited to see what the town would look like once the flowers had bloomed, but until then she would have to stick to her quests and wait patiently until they would see the light of day. She had arrived not to long after at the apartments, and she had met her client, Mitya. She was to be babysitting his mother today, and she could see why. The man had been a bit hung over, and she knew that drunks were never trustworthy. He had introduced her to his mother, Rishi now knowing that her name was Rynah. She shook the old lady's hand and had told her her name as well, and she could tell that Mitya wanted to go. She had told him she would do her best and he departed, leaving the two of them there, alone for the day. She wanted to see how this was going to go, and she was half excited, and half anxious. | ♕ Oh man what a world, the things I hear, if I could act on my revenge Then oh, would I? @QUEST WC 502/1000 NOTES |

Rynah didn't really do much. Well not as much as she had expected at least. She had stayed pretty quiet, and this was something that in Rishi's mind was a dream come true. She could sit down and relax for a bit, read a book, things quiet like that. She had never done a quest so calm before, and she had kind of liked it. Maybe she could find more quests like this one, so that she could actually enjoy her time. It wasn't boring like most of her other jobs, but it also wasn't exhilarating like some of her other jobs, like where she got to beat up that conman, or when she got to punch that fish with Atlas. She sighed. Those were good times, and she wished she could go back to that. Many of the people that she had met though she had never heard from or seen again, and that wasn't what she wanted. She had wanted everything to be different, but her life seemed to be straying farther and farther away from the original path that she had paved for herself. Hopefully she could see those people again, and maybe share some more good times with them that she would remember for a long, long time. The two of them had sat around for a while before Rynah had suggested that she make a batch of her special cookies, and at first she was a bit hesitant. She wasn't sure whether or not this was a good idea, seeing as the last time she had eaten a special treat it had changed her appearance a bunch. This old woman had seemed pretty harmless though, and she did say that they were incredibly delicious due to a secret ingedient, so she had agreed to the idea and the two of them had gone into the kitchen, the grey haired girl ready to watch the lady bake her cookies. She had whipped up the batter with amazing speed, and in Rishi's eyes it looked like she was the flash, dumping all the ingredients into the mixing bowl and stirring them up before she could open her mouth to say anything. At the end when she had finally slowed down a bit, she sprinkled in what appeared to be some kind of blue crystals. She then put them in the oven and had gone back to doing her crossword puzzle. She had been quite excited, as she was eager to see if these cookies were as good as or maybe even better than her own. It had seemed that the cookies were done, and Rynah had completely forgotten about them. Rishi pulled them out of the oven and put them on top of the stove. She had asked Rynah if she could have one, and she had told her she could in that nice grandma tone. She wished she had a grandma now, at least one as nice as this woman. She ate a cookie and had suddenly felt a surge of energy rush through her. She had then realized that the secret ingredient had been crushed mana crystals, and shw had sat there for the rest of the time in astonishment. Mitya had arrived later on and had paid her for her services, and Rishi took the money, hugged Rynah, and ran out back into the streets, heading back to her hotel room. | ♕ Oh man what a world, the things I hear, if I could act on my revenge Then oh, would I? @QUEST WC 1069/1000 NOTES |
