Instead of wasting time here in Orchidia, it was time to head towards Oak. Rather than walk, a journey expected to take nothing short of a week, the best course of action was to board a train. It would take a mere three days and allow for so much needed rest. However, the train did not go directly to Oak but instead stopped in Baska, a town located in close proximity to Oak. He would spend a few days in Baska and attempt to earn some jewels there before returning to Oak.
With a train ticket in hand, Shin boarded the train and took his seat. He had entered Crocus with his companion Gastly but was now traveling without the creature of darkness. He was unsure at what point the two got separated. The companion was useful to say the least but not the end of the world. With the power of Hephaestus, Shin would not need to rely on anyone besides himself. Shrugging it off, he closed his eyes and rested his head against the window to his right. The train began to chug along while spewing smoke from its spout. The chugging sound of the rain was rather pleasant, putting Shin into a much needed sleep.
The three day journey came to an end. Exiting the train, Shin made his way towards a motel. With Oak in the near distance, the blond-haired mage began to feel at home.
