So tell the gun to sin Like an angel with the dirty wings Tainted by tastes of the soul This is another level Deep in WC: 467 10% WC discount | The commotion of daily travel lingered in the air, piercing through the blue skies that had turned grey with the fumes that escaped these vehicles which roamed the outskirts of the towns of Fiore with great speed. Peace and tranquility had ceased to exist as the commotion within the four walls of the vicinity had reigned supreme, drowning the sounds of heavy breathing, desperate pants and hustling footsteps. Murmurs of idle chatter sung songs of irrelevance among commoners as the shy rays of the sun seeped past the transparent windows, hoping to engulf the travelling citizens within a warm embrace. Submerged sounds of impatient talking and adventurous discussions drowned within the wild roaring of the train engines, that announced the sound of their departure and arrival through wailing cries. Travellers rushed from one platform to the other, attempting to catch their trains and among them, yet another commuter was the blonde Knight who had embarked upon this tiresome journey to head out to a war. Well, it was not exactly a war but it was in fact being treated like one simply because lives were at stake. For some reason, although they were asked to rid this world of the current only dark guild, the female felt a bit uneasy about it. Perhaps it was because of her past that she never trusted the magic council's judgement. She was always one to believe that members of dark guilds were not always what she would consider bad people. More often than not, she only thought of them as people with a dislike towards the magic council, which she couldn't retaliate against even if she wanted to, who have no place to go to. Perhaps, like her, they too were drowning within a sea of hatred for the past actions of the Rune Knights and as much as she would like to deny it, there were no way she could disagree with the corruption that ran depe within the veins of the magic council. She knew that there were definitely people such as herself who harboured a blood lusting thirst for revenge just like she did, but retorted to rather illegal ways of doing so. Regardless of what their reasons were, the blonde knew that she would never be able to forgive someone who hurts innocent people. Maybe, that became her reason for hesitation as she didn't want to become someone who did exactly that. However, she also knew that the world was created with a balance that she alone could not disrupt. As much as the female hated it, she may have to go all out in this fight. Lilac eyes glanced towards the large bag that she carried around. Inside that, laid her trump card that may prove to be more dangerous than she would have expected. |
