Finally after, probably, a month of making Vivianna, I made another boy and started to actually RP. In this thread I am puttin' em on the market. Everything you touch 50 jewels.
Vivi and André are two fundamentally different characters. In my mind they represent and individual's interaction with their inner world and outer world. We have Vi, who escaped from the book she was written as a murderer, because the author didn't know about their magical capabilities and André, who is a regular farmer boy from a big family that shaped himself up to the man he is.
All of Vivi's things are fancy, the character app, sheet, the template, while everything of André is simple, brown/gray in tones. That's totally not because I was lazy, but cus it's symbolic. Yeah.
Here are their personalities.
Vivianna
- Personality:
- If this woman didn't have her fancy dress, she probably wouldn't draw any attention at all. With her lightweight frame, slow movements and silence, she seems to be content with just disappearing through the crowd. However, with her elegant aura, it also might be hard to give her no second thought if you were to spot her. Her shoulders are straight and this is a woman who believes in herself, even if she can't always show it.
With friends, while she seems to be much more upbeat and outgoing, yet fearing that she may lose people she made close bonds with, she struggles mentally where to be open and where to be her usual self. Being open is spiritually exhausting to her, and outside of her comfort area.
Vivianna is a pained woman who is trying to move on from a lot of things while trying to discover herself, which is the reason for her subtle nature. However one shouldn't think that that's all there is to her, for she isn't a two dimensional character and wasn't even written as one in the book. Behind her quiet face lies a woman of jokes and pranks, riddles and tongue twisters. Vivianna loves expressing herself when she feels completely secure and sometimes it's too jarring for people to see this other side of her, and unbelievable that they melt together in such a harmony.
All in all, Vivianna is a person who will laugh with you and at you, easily gets embarrassed, has many masks that she puts on willingly as she is trying to find a path for herself, who will talk about life with you as you look at the city from afar or if you are under the rain. She is someone who will lock you in a room while you are sleeping filled with notes pointing to where the key is as she taunts you from behind the door, with a wicked laugh unfitting of her face. She is someone who will quietly read books with you in a nice evening. She is someone who will invite you to her vivid imagination and stories, and even give you a role there. She is someone who will fight to the deep end for her friends and try to martyr their pains- for she feels undeserving when compared to people with red blood. She is the person who walks quietly down the street in the rain among the people as the only person without an umbrella, and deep, deep down, she is someone who is crying without knowing why.
André
- Personality::
- André is an earnest man as stated before. But that doesn't mean he is a boring downer. The man enjoys his life as if divided to portions, with everything having a time and place. This however is not a big part of his personality and is more of a habit, for his desires in general might appear contradictory to this life-style. He is an honest man who loves to communicate in an open manner, when he is joking around or being sarcastic, after sharing laughs, he will slowly go back to a more serious tone to clarify things, if he thinks there are things to clarify that is.
He is most definitely not a silent man, but not in a way that he is a blabbermouth or loud. Having a certain dislike for silence, the man enjoys whistling, singing and having music in the background in general. This also makes him much more relaxed when approaching strangers. He is a bold man, but not indecent or ill-mannered. André is an eloquent speaker when necessary, he just prefers being casual most of the time.
The man is warm and passionate. He loves and trusts quickly and has a hard time finding bad in people or grow cold. He never holds grudges, but that doesn't mean he forgets. He often plays with hair when talking or while idle, loves to use his hands to express himself more while talking and adores light-sarcasm and light-mischief. He thinks little of material wealth, and unless it is for basic needs, advancement as a mage or for the good of a community such as his guild, he donates most of it to charity and beggars.
André feels most strongly about governmental and social issues. He is no anarchist, but is influenced by socialism. His downfall comes from his lack of self-confidence in this regard, making it hard for him to talk about these subjects he feels so passionate about, nor take any action regarding it.
His personal journey comes from learning align his personality with his beliefs from time to time and finding the confidence to follow this path.
What I want to see her do is, honestly, for now, being side character in different people's stories. She was the main character of the book she was trapped in, and the idea of her being there for people, real people, who are going through their own thing is really making me feel giddy. So I'm willing to make Vivianna be that one character you need for some plot/character development you had planned. I feel like she can be a quite flexible agent in that.
He has his worries for the working class, but his actual downfall comes from the fact that he is too scared to talk about this. The boy is passionate about these subjects but is worried about being misunderstood, disliked or silenced. His desire to make all parties happy, makes him follow his own beliefs and convictions. He is too fed-up with being the gray party.
Loving, warm and sarcastic is André. His simple nature makes him more of a flexible canvas. However, from this chaotic good nature, I feel like it would be very easy for him to slip into lawful evil in extreme conditions. Such plans are not made, at least not yet, so it remains to be seen.
What I want for André, is someone who holds opposite ideas of his, but someone who could also be a good friend to him. With mutual trust, desire to understand, a lot of late-night arguments and talks could happen between them, maybe even more, and slowly he would gain courage to speak up about subjects he wanted to.
So that's about it. Surely long post. Contact me about the boi and gurl here or on PMs. We can carry it to Discord later on if we get it going.
I'm also looking for festival partners and I can promise to try to do my best to post fast and make the threads interesting.
