Pyre sat up and stretched, twisting his arms to wake himself up. He clambered out of bed and lit the candle so light would flood the room. It was early, four maybe five in the morning. Very awake by now Pyre decided it was time for exercise. Pyre pulled out a pair of thin pants and a light sweater to wear as he jogged, it was chilly out, but he would be moving so that would keep him warm. He stepped out of his room and locked it behind him.
Once outside he broke into a run. He started off slowly, only running as fast as a typical jogger. When he chose to speed up, he watched as life moved by more quickly. Running after as a shield, no one would stop and talk to you, you could mind your own business and everyone would look at you and turn back to their normal life as if you had never even existed. That’s why Pyre enjoyed it so much, he could be invisible.
Pyre stopped in front of south gate park and took a break, he looked at the horizon and only saw the tip of the sun rising over the edge. Pyre let out a deep breath and walked into the park, a short stroll wouldn’t hurt anyone.
South Gate Park was by far one of the prettiest places in magnolia. The trees, the flowers, it was like the forest but in a well kept place.
Farther down the path, Pyre noticed a man in the military uniform, as r got closer he recognized the man as guard captain Devon, the head of the military here in magnolia. He spent most of his time keeping Fairy Tail in check.
Pyre walked over and said good morning. Devon have a quiet nod back and asked Pyre if he’d be willing to help him. Pyre received a quest to help Devon recruit new members for a small guard in case anything dangerous happened here in magnolia
