Requirements:
  • One of the Two C Rank Missions involving Little Old Nan Completed.
  • Old Man Scuffle Completed.

Client:
Detective Rubber Slipper: Rubber Slipper or as his friends call him, Gumshoes, is a very diligent detective who often focuses on the most mysterious cases. While not exactly the smartest man, he is clever and his tenacity and drive make him one of the best detectives on the force.

Others:
Little Old Nan: Little Old Nan, as she is affectionately known around town, is an elderly woman who lives just outside of the city. In her old age she cannot get into the city as well as she could which can present problems.

Summary: Bitter Old Stan has died! As one of the last people to see the victim alive, Rubber Slippers has called you in for questioning, suspecting you of the crime if you resolved the “Old Man Scuffle” quest with violence.

Objective: Help Rubber Slipper find clues about the actual killer after telling him about Bitter Old Stan.

Details:
  • Create a topic in Magnolia.
  • Report to the Station for questioning, once there tell the Detective about Bitter Old Stan.
  • If you did not convince Bitter Old Stan to stand down peacefully, you will need to convince the detective of your innocence.
  • After convincing Rubber Slipper, follow him to Little Old Nan's house to search for clues.
  • Once there you will find several clues;
    • Bitter Old Stan's blood
    • The murder weapon
    • His manifesto that had slipped off the body and under the refrigerator.

  • After collecting all the evidence, return to the Station with the Detective and receive your reward, he will promise to contact you to apprehend the culprit.
