Client:
Cain: Cain is a powerful necromancer with a horned skull in place of a face and with glowing red in the sockets of his eyes. He lost his human face due to a magical incident years ago. He is much taller than humans, with the average human reaching to his chest. Cain doesn't speak much and is reclusive because of his inability to relate to most people. The cause of the recent incidents involving the undead are clearly Cain's doing.

Summary: After your first success, it seems you have impressed Cain's associate and now he wants you to observe the results of an experiment of his. A proud and arrogant adventurer, who despite his mediocre skill in the art of swordsmanship, has been able to gain a name for himself thanks to his wealth, which allowed him to purchase a set of legendary equipment and three Elven slaves skilled in magic.

Your goal is simple. Accompany this party into the tomb where they will encounter a mysterious giant hamster with a giant snake as its tail. While the hamster will prove to be a superior combatant, the slaves' magic make it difficult for the monster to deliver the finishing blow.

After letting them fight for a bit, your task will be to convince the Elves to betray their master. An easy enough task to accomplish. But, afterwards, the swordsman will turn against you instead. Fight alongside the monster and kill the vile slavemaster.

Others:
Hamsuke: A genetically modified hamster that is too big for its kind and has a snake as its tail. The beast is very strong and intelligent. It is near impossible to sneak up on it as the tail snake is very sensitive to any movement in its surroundings. While it may be an abomination, it does not mindlessly attack anyone, but only those who are a threat to its existence.

Elven Slaves: A group of three wood elves, who have been enslaved by Vezio over a petty debt. The elves are enduring their master's torture as they are soft-spoken and are afraid that they will be killed by him if they don't obey his commands. They are physically very weak, but can cast powerful buffs and healing spells.

Enemies:
Vezio: A cowardly man who has no skill, but is extremely wealthy. With his wealth, he had acquired some powerful equipment and a few slaves. His power is mostly derived from his gear and the support spells cast on him by his elven slaves. Once they are out of the picture, the man is only as strong as a wet paper towel.

Objective: Join the swordsman and his party of Elven slaves into the tomb and let them fight the monster. When the monster grows bored as the slaves keep protecting the swordsman, turn the Elves against their master and fight alongside the monster to kill the slavemaster.

Extra Rewards: None

Details:

  • Create a topic in Baska.
  • Join the party in their exploration of the tomb.
  • Observe the swordmaster's duel with the monster.
  • After he gets healed and buffed the first time, deal with the slaves to prevent him from recovering again.
  • Defeat the swordmaster with the monster's help.
  • Report the monster's combat performance to the maid who will show up after the battle.
  • Return to the last surviving group of the raid.
