In the end, she didn't have to keep the old lady company for too long, Baron did his part in the job and did it well, and before long, they had each said their goodbyes and the two Pegasi went off on their own way. Not a bad start for a full day of work:
"Mmmm, Mrs Noran's cookies always hit the spot~...", Alisa praised, stepping out of the house beside Baron, taking a deep breath and stretching her arms left, right, and finally upwards, enough for her breasts to strain the confines of her white jacket, feeling almost like she'd just woken up from a nice, long nap. Her gruff partner had gone well above the line of duty in bringing her son in instead of just leaving him to his own devices. Though not a completely stone cold bastard, it most certainly didn't hurt to carry him as soon as possible, "Well done fetching her son from his bar by the way, I'm sure that saved a lot of time."
With her coin purse a tad bit fatter and her magic power a tiny bit thicker - barely unnoticeably so - Alisa took a moment to look at her guildmate and smile, turning her torso slightly in his direction, glancing down towards her jacket:
"Now as for the mission I was actually taking you on...", as she said this, Alisa fetched the sheet of paper from one of the pockets on her right side. She already got a good idea where she was going, but reading it again sufficied to memorize the address, giving Baron the briefing sheet once she was done with it, "Apparently they need us to investigate a plant...", her quirked brow betrayed a hint of confusion but in the end she shrugged and lead the way, pointing towards the beanstalk sticking out like a sore thumb, right in the middle of town, "...Well, that plant to be more specific..."
