This was it. She had to find a way to convince the people here to let her join. It was either join Lamia Scale, or go back to wandering the streets, hoping to find a way to fill her empty belly with what little money she had, while trying to save up money from odd jobs for her debt.
Nervously she took one step on to the bridge. And, when the bridge didn't give way under her feet immediately, as if she was worried the world was out to get her, Fibi lifted her arms up high, as if balancing on a tight rope, and took a step on to the bridge with her other foot. An exaggerated arching step as she started to tip toe across it. Anyone watching this would see someone trying to make large gaits of tip toes across the bridge, staring at their feet, like some kind of thief trying to avoid traps, or someone that was super clumsy.
Fibi was just so scared of the world at the moment that she thought there were so few good people in it. Of the two she met, she hoped Lamia Scale would have plenty more for her to mingle with. Just, have to get across, this damn, bridge. She told herself mentally one step at a time, you can do it.
At the end of the bridge, she looked back and held on to her chest, taking ina few deep breaths before she turned toward the doors of the guild, her viridian colored eyes staring at the door, now contemplating how to approach and enter, without making an utter fool of herself, more than she already had.
