The quest wasn't anything like Amen'ra had dealt with before, and he'd had his fair share of strange request. He just didn't expect to be taking a mission that involved cutting down a giant beanstalk in the middle of the town that seemingly grew to touch the heavens over one moonset. While he did find himself interested entirely in the plant and how it had come to be there, his heart strings tugged at a contradicting feeling. Due all in part to his hatred for clutter and how the large vine had managed to be come just that in the not so decent town.
Walking now to meet up with Inspector Nilan, the young man would be dressed in a more athletic outfit; due in part to the sweat he was likely about to work up. A black coated rested over a black and gray track suit with winter specific undergarments and a pair of casual black boots, a gray hat resting atop his midnight locks. Each of his steps kicking up snow and breaking through ice until finally his youthful visage laid eyes on the man in question, about to quickly give him a break down of what was expected.
Apparently there was more to the story than just a giant plant growing. While no one had died from the incident apparently people were getting sick from even touching the plant and that was all the motivation he needed. Something that was causing any form of illness to the people needed to be snuffed out, and Amen'ra was more than happy to act as the towns antibody, Everywhere he went he always kept that same helpful and protective mentality, another reason he seemed to fit into the Holy Knights. Aside from some people being extremely fanatical about Illumin, he was content in the order.
Amen'ra didn't exactly mind that Nilan told him he was remorseful about cutting down the plant either, as it would of made for a good town attraction; which he could understand. However both men were in agreement that the tree needed to come down and so with an axe in a holster on his side and a farewell he was off to the location of the flora. So that he might strike it down where no one else was able to, the true power of a divine holy knight; he would put all of his heart into this.
Plus the fact that it was going to be a great workout didn't hurt the idea either.
So walking over to the site, clothing sprinkled lightly with snow Amen'ra observed the grand structure. Eyes wide with sheer awe at the scope of the beanstalk and fully aware that while interesting looking he needed to get to work. Moving his hand to grip the firm wood that rested on his belt, he unsheathed the hatchet and a spark of intensity twinkled in amber colored irides; reeling the weapon back to the opposite direction of his swing and letting out a hard grunt, Amen'ra would slam it into the plant. Breathing deep and doing it once more, sending a small sound out with each heavy swing, his vision stayed focused on his goal.
