| Ismail's Coins Ismail's strength and business smarts have made him a central figure among the Halflings of Desierto. While he used to be a famous adventurer in the past, he is now one of the wealthiest merchants in Desierto running a large trade company. They say that Ismail has his father's wits and his mother's intelligence. The same way his father managed to outwit and charm one of the fairest Wood Elven warriors and wed her, Ismail outwits his competition and strategically expands his business. For this reason, Ismail decided to support King Reign of Fiore to establish a meaningful relationship with him and open more trade between himself and the country. He was aware of the conflict between the King and the Divine, and understood that the King's treasury could use some gold. In time, Ismail hoped that the King could also stabilize the border issues with Bosco so that Ismail could send his wares via carriages instead of ships. In order to ensure that his gold would not get lost before reaching King Reign, Ismail decided to use magical coins which would turn into actual gold the moment King Reign touched them. It was not some odd alchemy, but a spell which teleported gold from his treasury into the hands of the rightful person. The ship docked safely in Fiore and its cargo got escorted towards Crocus, but the shipment never reached the Blooming Capital. Rifts opened on one of the routes and demons massacred all the escorting guards. Ismail was frustrated, but understood that this was simply a delay. The coins would be worthless to anyone else, and they would not understand what they were meant for in the first place. So Ismail sent one of his employees to Fiore to set up shop and announce that he would purchase all the coins that were found. The news spread rapidly and soon everyone began to seek the buyer purchasing these coins. Event Conditions
