Demonic Incursion - Orchidia

What does it mean to pierce the fabric that holds up our realm, that which separates our world from the realm of Demons? For the average man and woman, it is a frightening thought to consider just how fragile this separation actually is. The fabric between our worlds is not a physical curtain, not a structure limited to a particular place—it is everywhere. It is in their home, in the streets where they walk, in farmers' fields as well as remote mountain vales. At any moment it could be torn to shreds, allowing Demons and other horrors to flood into our world like water through a burst dam.

We have found out that small rifts can be sealed, but what about a large one? What if some catastrophic magical event created a rift so large and horrific, it weakened the integrity between the fabrics of our realms as a whole? Such a breach would threaten our entire world, turning concerns about occasional demonic intrusion into a charming anecdote compared to the monsters we would then face.

It is for this reason that we have called upon you all to come and aid us. Unfortunately, we can't do this alone. We have set up divisions in the Rune Knights to locate the disturbances in mana to find out where the next rifts will rip the fabric of space. We shall publish this information to the world. For now, we must set aside our differences and face our mutual nemesis who can change the world as we know it forever. Currently, our divisions have located a disturbance in Orchidia. Somewhere near Orchidia the next rifts will start to open. Should you receive this message, come and battle against these fiends before it is too late. Not as guilds, not as factions, but as Earthland.
