The fog lifted a bit around him, and he breathed out a frustrated puff of air through his nose, but as he took another step forward the fog cluster back around him. He lost his cool and with a string of Joyan insults better left untranslated, Fujaku swung his wooden sheath once more, soon winding himself and finding he was only covered once more in the fog. He grumpled to himself but simply continued walking forward to angry with himself to even try again. His soft woven sandals made little noise compared to his old wooden ones, which he greatly appreciated.

After focusing on his breathing, he didn't disconnect with the world but instead became one with it as they share the same air and the same materials that made them, the stars up above. As Sage continued to meditate, he lost the sense of time and began to glow in his bright yellow aura. Then the forest started to get foggy but Sage didn't mind this at all.

“What the hell is going on?!” he shouted out to the air. “Why can I not travel in peace and visibility?!” he cursed the fog, before grumbling and thinking of what to do. A thought occurred to him and he took out the wooden sheath again. He placed the tip on the ground and felt his way around. His grandfather in his later years was mostly blind, despite his great skill in sword play, he still had to walk with a cane to nagivate the moving world of carts and horses they lived in. But he never missed what he was doing, a feat Fujaku always contributed to the fact that despite being as blind as he was, he still saw far much more then anyone he had seen like that before.
He started off stumbling and really figuring out what he was looking for and what to avoid. The young man soon ended up half hunced over to properly be able to search with enough room to react. He was taking it slow before he made it to a level of familiarity with the ground and its general texture and signs for missteps. After that he made his way forward half confidently and soon found himself standing infront of….something glowing yellow. He hadn’t touched it yet, but he could see the cloudiest yellow…light he had ever seen. He slowly straightened up and shifted into an attacking stance. The “Blade” held in front of him as he slowly moved toward it. Stopping right within range, he raised his wooden weapon upward ready to knock out what ever this was. “Name yourself, strange light.”

Sage could feel the human being near him, and soon he heard his voice. He could already tell that the voice belonged to someone young, around his age as well. Sage opened his eyes and noticed the fog, No wonder he sound scared Sage thought in his head, even though the other male's voice didn't show a hint of fear, the arrangement of his sentences and the weapon being pointed towards him showed it clearly to Sage, the unknown had always been feared by everyone.
Sage stood up, even if the other male would strike him Sage wouldn't flinch as his endurance was at its peak. Before answering, he wanted to make the other male's fear of the unknown, which is him, to disappear instantly, so he slashed his arms towards the opposite direction of the other male. The force by the slash was strong enough to create a turbulence that the fog began to dissipate away from them and the trees rustled during the process. Sage turned around and now the person would be able to see him. "There's nothing to worry about, my name is Sage." he said with a warm voice and a warm smile of his.

The Young Samurai settled into a battle stance as he resheathed his weapon, but not to put it away, only to have it be in position to use his preferred combat style. “Stay yourself, demon. Your disguise would fool most but you cannot hide those demonic ears from my eyes.”

Sage would stand in front of the man, with both his palms shown so that the man in front of him could trust Sage, it was a psychological thing where people would trust someone that doesn't hide anything, and Sage's body language told that, he wasn't hiding anything. He was the type of guy that could act vulnerable to anyone without the fear of getting hurt. But Sage's open and caring personality has it drawbacks as well, because he cares so much about others, people rarely thought of how Sage truly felt inside leaving him sometimes feeling quite lonely.

“You give your name so easily, most others I would have encountered would have attacked instead of making themselves so easily open. Either your no threat at all….Or you are very confident in your abilities.” He said looking toward Sage his eyes set as hard gazing orbs that didn’t look away. “But since you did the honor of giving your name first, it would be wrong of me not to return the same courtesies. My name is Fujaku Nijiiro.”

Judging from the reaction of the man, Sage could tell that he must had went through a traumatic situation, not trusting anyone easily. "You're quite smart Fujaku, I must say both are true, I am no threat to you, neither are you a threat to me, as I am confident with my abilities." Sage said such wise words out. He didn't know why he felt so at peace and so dominant over the current situation, maybe it was the side effect of the meditation he just did. "I doubt any human could see in this thick fog, I can help you get through if you want Fujaku." Sage said with a calm manner, he really felt like helping Fujaku, there was something different about him, maybe because Sage could feel some weird vibes from him and due to that he was curious of who Fujaku was, the only hint he got was that he was probably born in Joyan, judging by his name.

But even as Fujaku nodded softly, his ears felt warm, he wondered why. He looked at the elf again and for the first time he really noticed his feature. The soft quality and gentle beauty of his lines made his features almost… pleasing. He couldn’t help but stare at the golden blonde hair. It wasn’t a common site in Joya, the color was like straw and even if he didn’t realize it, a smile crept onto his face. He went to speak, only for the small twang he heard to instantly pull his body into reactionary defense. The young Samurai turn back toward he had come from grabbing his wooden sheath and using it to block the arrow that embedded itself into the wood. But even from the angle fujaku could tell the Arrow wasn’t for him, It had been for Sage.
“Sage, be careful. That arrow was meant for you not me.”

Sage couldn't be seen by Fujaku as he lunged towards the bushes. But after a while, Sage stood up, his face was angry, but having a baby face he wont intimidate any soul. As he walked out of the bushes, he dragged a man along with him, the man completely knocked out. "I'm not sure why I'm being targeted though," Sage would say, looking at the man in confusion. He had never been targeted before, why then? How did he or they, know Sage was in the forest? he got so many unanswered questions, but then he realized that he was being too anxious, he would take a deep breath and exhaled it calmly, he would then turn his gaze towards Fujaku, and probably locked eyes with him. His magenta eyes then blinked, looking away, "Where are you heading to?" he would ask, changing the subject weirdly.

“Don’t do that.” He said, “Don’t change the topic after an attempt on your life. We don’t know if the enemy is defeated or simply lost one attacker.” He was being far more serious then most would be. He had been the target of many assasains in his young youth, but by the time he had learned to defend himself those attempts stopped, but beyond that, Fujakus senses were on fire now, the tranquility and beauty had been torn away from him in an instant and he wouldn’t it go unpunished. He grabbed the man from Sage and headputted him, dropping him on the ground and rubbing his own head as the double impact shook the man into being conscious again.
he stumbled in his speech and found fujaku with the heel of his foot ready to smash the mans windpipe, but the man didn’t look terrified. He smiled and laughed an insane mans laugh.
“hahaha! To think! Not only would Sage the Berserker be here like the hints said, but it’s the Heir of Ashes himself, Fujaku Nijiiro!” he laughed again as he shouted it, there was movement all around them suddenly as other bounty hunters, no not hunters, thugs working to take down tougher enemies, exited the bushes and trees. The man felt Fujakus foot press down as he warned the others to stay back. But the man just laughed again. “You know boy, Your uncles offering 3 million jewels for your head, but no ones seen hide nor hair of you so no one knew where to even look!” Fujakus face said it all as it grew darn and gloomy, he was wide eyed processing what he had just heard.
“My…uncle?”

As the man laughed wickedly, Sage's guts told him something bad was gonna happen, and it did, men started to walk out of the bushes and trees. They all seemed tough. The man that was on the ground explained about stuffs that Sage really don't get except the fact that they have a price on their head. It was all annoying to Sage, why did this type of things happen when he met such a wonderful person, he felt frustrated, angry at the fates that played with his feelings.
"This is annoying," Sage would whine, he then clenched his fist and his yellow aura glowed even more brightly than before. He dashed at an extreme speed towards one of the most bulky man among them all and threw a single punch towards him, his punch were out of this world, it threw the humongous man across the forest, blowing away trees and bushes and the fogs along with it. Sage then got back to a standing position, "Any of you wanna take a ride with my fist?" he questioned sarcastically at them, grinning at the edge of his mouth. If there were to be a projectile heading towards him, he wouldn't flinch a bit, he was at a distance from Fujaku, but Sage knew that the raven hair could take care of himself pretty well.

“Now now now~. Don’t be so hasty.” The voice that spoke from the figure was male sounding, but as the words were spoken, the tone of them creeped and slithered over them like a venomous Pit Viper. “ While they may have been here for you, im here to enjoy the show that’s about to begin~, so please just be a good weak little insect and stay still for me~.“
Fujaku was over whelmed, the men that came at him were all different kinds. Sword users, spears, even magic was aimed at him. The only reason he avoided most of it was because by the grace of the gods he could move faster then them. However the young man wasn’t going unscathed as every so often a sword would connect just barely, or a spear narrowly miss his eye or other vital organs. But the big issue was the magic. Wind magic, earth magic, and even a glass magic that bombarded him with glass shards. He used his wooden sheath as best he could to defend himself, but it was obvious he was out numbered and couldn’t win this fight with a wooden weapon.
“Look at him, fighting with everything he has, but let me tell you something little insect, he has nothing left. No country to return to, no home to rest in,“ he leaned in and with a slithering whisper spoke. “Nothing but the ashen remains of his entire clan, all because of his uncle.“ He seemed to be…. Explaining? Was he hear to cause harm or to simply test Fujaku, his constantly smiling lips and large facial vail gave nothing away.
“Lets hope he has something more to give, or this already suffering and sputtering flame of hope and humanity will die, and even you cant stop that, Lightbringer~.“

He could feel something dark, something he wasn't familiar with at all, something he was uncomfortable with crawling up his skin, disabling him from moving. "W-What..." he muttered, confused of what just happened to him. At first he thought it was one of the thugs that were to capture him, but instead it was something worse. He could smell the distinctive smell of burnt Opium, at the corner of his eye, he saw a mysterious figure, wearing yellow outfit. As the yellow figure began to speak Sage immediately knew that he wasn't dealing with something that is considered as a human, he was dealing with a creature more dark than that.
Sage felt powerless under the spell of the yellow figure, he felt tortured looking at Fujaku being alone in the battle, "Let me go you devil." Sage would speak out angrily, he was too devastated of how he was doing nothing to help Fujaku. He would have to hear the yellow figure explain about Fujaku's state. Sage wondered why he knew so much about the raven hair and what was their connection, and why would he make Sage suffer like that. As the demon explained that all is lost and there was nothing Sage could do about it, Sage lost his mind, he would grin like a maniac, "We'll see about that once I set free." he would threaten with a devilish smile of his.

He came up in a roll only to find a foot kicking him in the face, seinging his flying back again. His nose broken as he lay there, unable to get back up. He couldn’t breath as he rolled over onto his stomach and sat up as best he could, blood pouring from his nose as he spat out the large mouth fool that had formed from him laying on his back, basically drowning. He felt the light fade off him, his body in full panic mode. He couldn’t die here, he couldn’t. He grabbed his sheath and tried to strike out as the growing shadows of the people surrounding him, each eager to be part of the beating to come. It was odd, none of them even seemed to remember sage was here, as if they were driven to attack Fujaku alone.
The yellow figures smile grew much wider as Sage gave in.
“There it is, The Berserker~.“ He smoked more of the opium as the kicks and stomps began.
“Isnt this perfect Sage~? You get to watch him die, and when he dies he wont even be going to the afterlife of his family~. Hell be mine to use as I wish~“ He stepped back, his magic still strong, but he had already faded back into the darkness he came from, he had gotten what he wanted. Now he needed to prepare for the next play he would star Fujaku and his friends in.

Sage looked at the thugs with rage in his eyes. In a blink of an eye he dove towards where they were gathered and made an explosion knocking back all of them away from him and Fujaku. He looked at the raven hair, "It is going to be fine, I'm here for you." he would say in such a calm and warm tone, but his eyes told it differently.
The thugs couldn't stand anymore from the impact, they were laying unconscious on the ground, or maybe even dead. But Sage wouldn't mind them anymore, he would search for the one causing all of this, the devilish yellow figure. The light Sage was emitting was radiant, anyone looking at it will have a sense of hope and their spirit will rekindle. But it would hurt to be seen by a soul that its heart is jet black and hard. Sage was the symbol of hope.

“HAHAHAHA! What an exceltent attack that was.” He smiled and looked at sage, the desire to fight in his eyes like a raging fire. He began to give a long winded speech about how he enjoyed the thrill of the fight. But for Fujaku he didn’t hear any of it. The rush of blood in his ears was deafening he didn’t hear anything but his own heartbeat in his ears.
Draw me. the voice that reach Fujaku wasn’t audible to any one else. It was within his own heart. Just this once, I will give you my strength. I cannot have you die here.
Fujakus body moved on its own as black scrawl covered his body, going from his right eye futher down his body, the scrawl was complicated and overlapping. Spells upon Spells upon Spells. He grabbed at the ground as he lunged over his wooden sheath, the Explosion of light that Sage had given off was contrasted as the hidden blade sparked to life. A Hidden katana that was not normally accessible, slide from the seemingly empty sheath as Fujaku slammed the blade into the mans forearms as he blocked.
“Hahaha! Look at you still willing to—” the split was silent, as the mans body finally caught up to what had happened to it. But before the bifricated man could fall away from his other half, the ground under him exploded upwards in a pitch black beam of Negative energy. It was despair incarnate. If Sage could be described as a Epitome of Hope, Then this power that Fujaku demonstrated was the Epitome of Despair. The blade disappeared as Fujakus body went into shock, his mana drained to a critical point as he fell onto his back, unable to move or respond. He would die without help.

Without noticing that Fujaku started moving, his heart stopped for a second when he saw Fujaku lunging towards the enemy, Sage's face was shocked, his muscle tensed. "Wait NO!" he shouted, trying to reach Fujaku with his hand but he couldn't. He did not want to see Fujaku, not now, they barely even met. Sage wanted to know the raven hair more, he was curious of what their future holds.
What happened next baffled Sage. The dark aura Fujaku exerts was the yin to Sage's light aura. The large man was defeated instantly. As Fujaku's mana was drained and he began to fall, Sage dashed quickly to save Fujaku in his hands. A drop of tear began to drop from his right eye, a smile aross his face as he was glad everything turned out fine.
Sage carried Fujaku in his arms as he walked out of the forest. He went to the emergency room in the town of Magnolia so that Fujaku can get some treatment. After a few hours the doctor called him and said everything will get better as the injuries were healed easily by Magnolia's doctors. However as Fujaku used every last drop of his mana he will remain unconscious for a few more hours. Sage took Fujaku back to his inn room laying him on his bed. He then took a quick shower to wash of the dirts. The day began to get dark and Sage prepared some tea.

Sage turned around, and walked out of the room, leaving some of the left in the kettle and he paid the motel room for another night so that Fujaku could rest there. He even left the key back in the room. Sage then walked on, starting his journey to defeat demons. "Till we meet again, Fujaku.".
