Well, he'll consider it a job since it was technically a request and he got paid for it, even if it was technically a crime. Either way, Shichiro decided he'd exit this city for and roam around the outskirts of town. Even though there was a big city inside, there was still outlying towns and settlements that he could to go to assist others or find something fun to do. With that, he made up his mind and made his way back to the gates of Era. Passing through the gates, Shichiro made his way down the mountain, he came across the familiar path of when he was travelling with that one wealthy merchant. He felt good about that even though his role was minor but he did work and got paid for it. Now Shichiro had another idea. He had just remembered that those three people he had been working with mentioned, that they had a bandit camp under the guise of a normal settlement. He decided he'd go and try to find that settlement and take on more underhanded jobs.
Following the path back to the normal settlement he took the merchant too, he stopped when he was around the area where the hole was dug. He looked at the hole and then tried to remember in which part of the forest they disappeared too. He couldn't recall completely but he decided that he would take a wild guess and go in the direction he had thought they had gone. Traversing through the forest, Shichiro made sure to keep a look out on things were out of the ordinary. He eventually came across a clearing in which he might be able to take a breather but he'd really hope to get on the move on soon. After catching his breath, Shichiro got up and decided he would continue on his journey. Upon passing the clearing, Shichiro had made it to a cliff-side and peered down below. In the distance below, he could see smoke coming out of another clearing. Shichiro then assumes that's the settlement they were talking about and decided he would go and search there. Even if it wasn't, he'd go and rob them anyways for the hell of it. It sounds pretty messed up but he could use some money really bad right now. Not bad enough to incur a bounty on his head but some that will at least help him purchase the things he needs. What he really wants right now is a powerful weapon that he could use to defend himself.
All good things will come in time, or so he thought but for right now, he just wants to make sure to get to that encampment in order to see if there's any new jobs he could assist with. From the look of things, it seems as if it'll take him at least a day to make it down there. He wanted to get there quicker but he had no choice but to look for a path down. Searching the edge of the cliffside for hours, he eventually found himself a cave entrance leading downwards and he began his descent. It was dark and wet and as he went through, he could hear the sound of running water as he got closer and closer. Eventually, he lost track of time being in that cave and made it out. By the time he made it out, it was nightfall. This discouraged Shichiro a little bit but it wouldn't hinder his progress. He decided to continue on in the same direction under the cover of night. It was quite hard to see and every so often, Shichiro would run into a large rock or tree, quite literally. Sometimes he stubbed his toe and swore out of frustration but he decided he'd keep quiet and keep going.
Making his way through the forest, Shichiro entered another clearing. This time, there were tents and houses made of wood in the clearing and a dimly lit light. Finally, at least, he had came across the settlement. He was relieved but at the same time, he was tired. He had been travel all day and most of the night so he decided he would take a nap near on of the wooden houses in the back. He sure hoped he wouldn't be caught or disturbed but he had no choice. He could feel himself drifting away on his feet. He then leaned against the wall of the house, slouching down and not long after, he fell asleep. What seem like a few hours later, Shichiro was awoken by a familiar face. It was the girl that was apart of the raid last time. He was quite startled at first when he saw her but as his vision cleared up, he recognized her. They exchanged greetings and she said she had spotted him from quite a ways and was wondering if he was the same person from recently.
Shichiro stood up from where he was and dusted himself off. While dusting himself off, Shichiro noticed his purse was missing. He continued to pat around frantically until he had no choice but to give up and accept his wallet was missing. This infuriated Shichiro greatly. All that money he was saving for a weapon, gone. He hadn't even gone to the bank yet. Visibly fuming, the ground had started to quake as his mana started to affect the floor beneath him. The woman then started to step back a bit before she ran forward and gave Shichiro a hug. This calmed Shichiro down but he was still not amused. He didn't know what to expect here noe did he expect to come as a hero but he certainly didn't expect to be robbed in his sleep, not that he was sleeping somewhere safe. The woman then nodded and apologized profusely as if she was the one that did it but, Shichiro already knew it wasn't her.
While she was here though, he asked her if she had some kind of plan to go raiding again. She shook her head no that she didn't cause she normally doesn't take part in those activities but she knew of a string of heists that was gonna be pulled later on that he could attend if he really wanted in. Shichiro's eyes lit up like a kid in a candy store. He asked her where he could go to attend these raiding parties and to show him the way. She smiled then nodded as she led him away. Following behind her, Shichiro had turned his head from left to right, up and down as he kept a look out for his missing purse. He had spotted his purse in the hands of an adult and it looks like he was about to enter the same location as him. Shichiro's rage was about to flair up but the woman had made him settle down before they entered and assured him he would have his purse back. After making it in, he was greeted by two more familiar faces that he had gone raiding with. Immediately, they had sat him down and filled him in on where they were going to hit next. Shichiro nodded and paid close attention. He also brought up the issue he had with one of his men having stole purse. The man was immediately punished and taking out of the raid. This pleased Shichiro greatly and he went on with the plan. From then on, he hit merchant after merchant with the group and carried as much loot as he could until they were done for the week. Of course, Shichiro received his cut and then some but he decided that he would leave some of his treasure here because he didn't want to answer too many questions from the rune knights about where he acquired all his stuff.. He would then bid his farewell and make his way back to Era to count out his jewels and sell some other things.
