Walking through the city of Crocus, Shichiro had gotten quite frustrated with the turnout of recent events that had transpired a few minutes ago. He managed to steal an important looking communication device that was attached to his ear but he hadn’t figured out how to make it work. Sighing, he figured he’d just keep on it just in case somebody tried to get in contact with him, or more specifically, in contact with the person he had managed to swipe this from. Walking around the streets of Crocus, Shichiro decided to he’d at least try and pick up the trail of the other person he was initially pursuing since he was the one with the documents. He thought he had looked through all the material initially before it was stolen from him so now, he has to go and retrieve it and get closer to what he wants. Sniffing out the places they had previously travelled, he hoped to gain some kind of lead on the person that had escaped. He picked up a faint scent of the one who escaped but alas, since he was in the middle of the city, he couldn’t get an accurate read of the scent since it was mixing and blending in with other scents such as peddled goods, food and perfumes. His nose being barraged like that, really puts a hamper on using it, especially  in the middle of civilization. Well, he decided to drop the idea and continue on with his day. Walking along the streets of Crocus, he decided he would give up for the time being and just head back to the inn he was currently residing in. He got sort of a bad feeling about staying in the inn he was currently at since now they knew where he was currently residing. He wasn’t afraid of them, more specifically he was afraid of being taken out in an underhanded way so he decided to travel to a different part of town and pay for a nicer looking, expensive in.

Another crummy day, another crummy task. Sighing, He strolled to the market to see if he could find a new lead of the whereabouts to the one that got away. While browsing through the menial flyers and peddlers at hand, one particular person stood out to him as he began to chant his name."Gaud, gaud, gaud. Where have heard that name before. Hm? OH!! That shifty merchant I saw the other day selling stolen goods, neat. Maybe he wasn't such a bad guy after all or i could be wrong. Oh well, I'll try talking ro this one. This should be rather amusing to take if only to intimidate him some by only showing up." Heading off into the direction of his choosing, Shichiro sneered as he made way towards his destination of where he last saw this ‘Gaud’.  Making his way to the town square, he spotted the jovial man selling his wares as usual. Upon entering his line of sight, Gaud's facial expression changed from cheerful to scorn. "Oh, it's you. What do you want?!?! You've nearly ruined my reputation before, what more could you possibly want now?" he said scornfully. "Now, now is that anyway to treat a potential customer?" goaded Uchida. "Listen, hurry up and conduct your business. I have real customers to attend too. Your no customer of mine." said Gaud coldly. "Ouch, and here I thought maybe I could help you out with something, maybe a piece of information you happened to have somewhere?" Uchida said, reaching into his pockets and dangling the piece of paper with Gaud's signature on it. The man had sighed in defeat, knowing this was probably the last person he had wanted to find his handiwork and conceded. His eyes then lit up a bit and he decided since this was happening, he could just use Shichiro to help him out with something before he spilled his guts.

"If you want information you have to work for it. Do this favor for me, just take it and go. Here are the coordinates. And please, no rough stuff, it's my name on the line here." he called out. Uchida once again, waved him off and headed in the direction he was suppose to meet this supplier. It seems a little shady that Gaud wanted other people to perform this transaction other than himself. A little shifty if you asked Shichiro. Oh well, it wasn't his job to ask questions. He just did what the request told him to do. Worst case scenario being he tells the authorities that he was on a request and don't know what was in the contents of the request. He began to start whistling, which was a bit uncharacteristic of him but found himself in wanting to do so. Odd. Either way, Uchida had arrived to his destination. A dank little alley of Era, not too uncommon but rarely traversed. He strolled into the alley, hands in his pockets and looked around for anything out of the ordinary. If he was being sent to perform transactions in such a place, he assumed it was dangerous. Nothing of note happened other than a figure he hadn't noticed before. He was dressed in a strange black cloth and was kind of creepily standing there. Yup, no doubt about it. He must be the supplier that Gaud was supposed to meet. "Oi, you the guy I was sent here to meet? A ‘Gaud’ sent me with the money to get the item in question." The clothed man in black simply looked Uchida up and down before deciding whether to trust him to make this delivery or not. Eventually, the man just shrugged and reached into his clothing and took out a peculiar, large tooth before placing it in a bag and tossing it to Uchida. Uchida walked over and handed over the jewel purse he was carrying and waited there for him to count to see if it was all there. The silent man nodded towards Uchida and Uchida nodded back before turning around and walking off.

Strange guy but he was glad and somewhat disappointed he didn't get in any conflict. Maybe this Gaud guy might be legitimate after all. Who knows? Well, that didn't matter, all that mattered to him was his payment. Upon returning, he saw that Gaud was busy tending to a customer. He decided it would be best if he waited until after he was done assisting this person and decided to wait. After he was done, Uchida casually walked up to him and shoved the bag into his face. Remembering what happened the last time, Gaud quickly ducked, granted the bag was nowhere near his face at the time. After a brief moment, he stood back up and slowly took the bag from his hand. Uchida sighed then shrugged and decided he might as well get this question off his chest. "Oi, that wasn't so hard or bad at all. Why'd you hire somebody to do this kind of thing for you. Seemed easy enough and cheaper to just do it yourself. Not that i really care. I made a quick buck from it." he said a little disappointed. Gaud then looked at him curiously and sighed, replying "I've never been to this town before. I'm a traveling merchant. I don't know what kind of dangers could be lurking with every turn of the corner. That's why i'd rather hire somebody else to take the risk for me and even earn themselves a profit, if they manage to come back alive..." Uchida then shrugged again and in turn said, "Well, I guess that's true. Especially since you seem to be an easy target for bandits and thieves. Here i thought you were shady too after the whole family crest fiasco. If you need me to take on more fetch errands like that, i'd be glad to take your money. Although, i'd rather have some eventful things thrown my way occasionally if you know what i mean. Well it was nice speaking to you, i guess. Now for your end of the bargain, tell me what I need to know since you always seem to be connected to the right people at the right time."

A sneer remerging from his face as he stared at the merchant he had dealings with in the past. He was now looking to collect on that deal they had made not too long ago about working for a piece of information. The merchant Gaud, looks a bit worried since he remembered Shichiro had a temper in the past. Shichiro wasn’t as difficult as he was back then but he figured it was best to keep up appearances. “Alright, tell me everything you know about a certain unground group of researchers that i am looking for, as well as information about this radio I have attached to my ear,” Shichiro said, while still sneering from ear to ear. The merchant Gaud began to spill his guts about what he knew of the organization. Apparently, it was rumored to be ran by a group of werewolves that were hiding in plain sight. Well, he could figure that out on his own with whom he was being chased by the other night. Another thing he learned was their main headquarters was actually a camp not far from where they were now and Shichiro could probably go there and get what he was searching for with ease. The shifty merchant then marked on Shichiro’s map where in Crocus he should go in order to find them. He also informed Shichiro the radio he carried around was worthless to him since it can only be used to receive transmissions but not send them. Well, he had learned all he needed to and with that, he took his ‘payment’ and began to stroll back to his destination, wondering if there is anything he should be worried about. Walking through the streets of Crocus and following his map, Shichiro eventually came to a structure that the merchant had mentioned.

Observing the structure up and down, he figured he wouldn’t charge in like he normally would. He was in the middle of a giant town now and didn’t want to cause any kind of commotion or draw any attention as he didn’t want Rune Knights crawling down his throat. Even though their operation wasn’t all that legitimate either, it was one man versus a shadow organization that could easily lie and get him in trouble, if bribery wasn’t already occurring. No, he’d take a different approach this time around. Instead of doing that, Shichiro took the time to survey the building from top to bottom. He roamed around the outer complex to see if he could see any potential entrances to sneak into. Peering through windows, he could really make out much as they were covered by dark curtains or objects in his way which was quite frustrating. He’d then take a few steps back and go to neighboring structures nearby to stake out the place to see who comes in and who guys. So far, for the first couple of hours, he saw nobody enter or exit so he gave up for the time being and went back to his inn to call it a day. He returned the next day and decided to take out once more but to no avail. Shichiro kept this cycle up until it bore fruit. Finally, he noticed a familiar face of the tavern patron he had seen earlier in the week. It turns out there was a secret entrance to the building only a select few knew and now that secret was found out by Shichiro himself. This was a good day for him as he smirk before returning to his inn to plan out his attack patterns as well as grab a meal from the canteen. Placing his hands into his pockets, Shichiro thought this was going to be a very fun endeavor.
