She was a Nephilim, she was meant to work, not go run around and play. Yet she was told she needed to relax and act like a person for once. She sighed softly. She hadn't accepted becoming a Nephilim to be called a busy body and that she didn't act like a person, but oh well, if the higher ups said she needed to take time and act like one, she would.
As she stood on the dock, overlooking the ocean, she felt as though time stood still, and her mind wandered back to a memory from when her mother had found her and her father. Her hands clenched and she didn't realize it as the memory was flooding her mind.

Killana walked home from the store humming a merry tune, skipping slightly with a bright smile upon her face. She opened the door. "Father, I'm home!"
She called upon entering the home. She walked through the main hallway and into the kitchen where she put the groceries down. "Dad?" she called with a concerned tone as he had not responded to her.
She took her gloves off, set them on the counter, and made her way back into the hallway and headed towards the living room.
Upon arriving at the archway into the living room she stopped cold, staring at the scene before her.

She jumped where she stood, suddenly becoming aware of her environment once more and she sighed softly. She had started wringing her hands together and not realized it, and she started to make herself calm down.
