Looks like we’re ready to set off… A slow sigh escaping the lips of Sofia Serena as she closed the saddle bag of the beautiful beast upon which she had arrived in the village and yawned a little, despite how charming this little settlement was the sapphire siren would soon be pleased to be back in the sky and heading toward her home, and not least because she was rather looking forward to a nice nap in a comfortable bed or more accurately the luscious lady she expected to find within it when she finally arrived back in Hargeon.
Though, I can’t help but feel bad, taking this much from a village this small… There still one thing that was bothering her however and that the items that she had just stowed in her saddle, even though mages were used to getting rather sizeable rewards for their work and this vision from Valerica no exception to that given the things she had been up to in the couple of years now she had been working as one, it still made her feel awkward to take something handsome from people who seemed to have so little. Unfortunately though, all too soon she would have little chance to worry over such seemingly small matters.
What’s going on? Not given all that much time contemplate their comparative prosperity before she found her attention being drawn toward a bunch of murmurs and shouts occurring none too far away from her, it was no overstatement to say that it seemed that the whole village was gathering around something, and even though there was plenty of reason for Miss Serena to ignore this her sense of curiosity and perhaps a healthy dose of dread as well denied her the opportunity to do so.
Oh no… Another?! Moving to where the crowd had gathered and suddenly seeing something that made the hairs on her neck stand on end, the sapphire siren felt her pulse quicken as she saw another furred and fanged figure standing on the opposite side of the group, and found herself wondering if she would have another fight on her hands so soon after the last…
