It was dazzling from the sky as he rushed by and left it behind. The wind rustling his hair as the griffon soared over the mountain tops. He made his way onward to Orchidia once more. A place he had spent some time but not much.
He reached into his bag to grab the occasional pancake and toss it back as his other handheld onto the griffon to keep him aboard. He rushed across the land to with his mind at ease and the new scroll in his pocket. Word of a strange merchant with powerful wares for sale had intrigued him but had not been worth the travel this time but perhaps next. He made his mad dash across the skies to reach home. The thought of falling into Noyiah's arms keeping him going.
He passed by the guild that was new and thought of paying a visit but that would be for another time. He didn't land and just flew overhead. He had sent word to meet with Advent World and wondered if in his absence they arrived, but there was plenty of time for that in the future. The landscape beyond seemed fresh and new, now that he didn't have the weight of a mission on his shoulders.
He flew around and landed long enough to catch some sleep and for the griffon to rest its tired body. The creature was just as excited to make the journey home as Kaz was. They had to get there as quickly as they could. Time ticked by slowly as the two rose in the morning with a great yawn and ready to fly.
Finally, they were at home. The guildhall showed itself and they landed right in the courtyard. Time to get back to work around here.
