Steel once again visited the church in the town of Magnolia. This time however there was no Father there to greet him. The only people about were the ones that were sick and bedridden. Entire families of diseased people left unattended. Steel could do nothing but wonder where the Father who had been helping all these people had disappeared too. So he started looking around for him, Steel started going room to room when finally he found the Father was laying in bed. He seemed to have contacted the same disease as the people he was curing from prolonged exposure to the sick and unhealthy. Steel approached the sick Father but was told not to by the Father as he did not want Steel to become sick. The flowers Steel had procured for the Father had had their healing nectar extracted. He explained that to heal the ill of their disease they must consume the nectar. He then gave Steel a few vials with a potion made from the nectar in each vial. And told Steel to help him save the diseased people as he no longer could now that he too was sick. Steel wanted to give the Father some of the potion but the Father politely refused as the other sick people within the church should be cured before him. A captain never leaves his ship even if it’s sinking was the mentality that Steel could read from this situation and decided to leave the Father be for the moment as he would go out to the other sick people within the church.

Steel began walking around from person to person offering the nectar potions to help against the sickness. He had been there helping people before but that time he had gotten help from Father Jerad and so a lot of people had been easy around him that time but now that he was on his own people did not accept the nectar until he explained that he was a member of fairy tail working for the Father of the church to help battle the disease and that the Father was now also bedridden but had told him that he should give the potion to the sick families first and treat him after. Some of the people cried a tear of happiness upon hearing the selfless act of the Father whilst some of the people asked Steel that he should give the potion to the Father instead so that he would be cured. Steel said that he would give some potion to the Father later but that he would first treat the sick in the church in accordance to the wills of Father Jerad.

One of the children that Steel was going to give the potion too seemed nervous. He was young and refused to drink the potion like so many other children would refuse a needle at the doctors office. Steel calmed the boy and coaxed him slowly into taking the potion and then moved on.
He returned to Father Jerad’s bedside where he explained to the father the proceedings of the day and how he had treated the ill at the church. The Father content with the summary of the day's work then consumed some of the potion and slowly sat up at the bedside. Grateful for Steel’s assistance he rewarded Steel and gave Steel another vial from his bedside explaining that it would help make Steel stronger so that he could help others in the future. Steel consumed the potion. Was handed his jewels and then left the church content with what he had done today.
