Aegis' assistance was needed once more. Penumbral Guard had received another notice from the theatre in Marigold, seating that Italy needed his help for one of their new productions. After his last time helping them with their ghost problem, it seems that he got rather in their good books, let alone them allowing penumbral guard to operate in the area freely through trust. He wasn't exactly sure what they needed, because in the actual notice for aid that they had received at the hall, it had just said *assorted work*. He packed up what he needed for the day, and bid farewell to Rashida as he headed out for the days work ahead.

The current temperature made it a nice cool evening, with not a lot of folks on the road. Luckily for him nothing much happened on the way into town usually, other than sightseeing through the clear sky. The area around number guard made for a very beautiful location, with a great many trees and mountains surrounding them. Most of the roads were still pretty bare-bones, as none of them had permanent laid bricks or concrete, but neatly packed dirt with cleared pathing. There were a great many animals and beasts in these areas, but luckily most of them seemed to be frightened of people or were peaceful enough not to bother with the guild members or travelers. Travelers were few however, as it was not an easy feat to find your way to the guild hall if you didn't know where you were going. Even though his current envisage could seem intimidating, most would assume otherwise, but most of the animals in the area actually came up to him. He wasn't sure if it was just his aura that he presented himself with, or it was an ability that he had no idea he had, but it seemed too often to be a coincidence.

As Aegis turned around one of the mountain paths and on to one more straight through the countryside, he noticed a group of small goat like animals ahead of him. They look very similar to goats, they were quite a bit larger and we're more of a reddish colour. As you got closer he could see them a little more clearly, and it looked like they were all in a little circle on the side of the road. As the seconds passed, and he got even closer, he noticed that they were acting a little strangely. They had seemingly encircled something and we're making quite a lot of vocal noises. He slowed his pace a little but still heading towards them, as to check and see what was going on.

As he got closer, they seem to notice his presence quite early, as it seemed they were very on guard and aware of their surroundings. As soon as he got within 20 meters or so of them, the ones that were closest to him and turned and began making noises toward him. He could not tell what they were specifically as he didn't speak this creatures language, but it was almost a mixture of frustration and concern if one could tell from the pitch. He slowed his movements to walking very slowly, making sure not to create any surprise. With his height, how close he was now, it was easier for him to see what the actual come out about. It looks like one of their herds had gotten injured, although he was still too far away to tell how exactly that happened. As he kept getting closer, the animals started to snarl more in his direction, warning him to stay back. He kept his pace up however, as slow as it was, as he was going to try and see what he could do to help. As he got within a couple arms reach of the animals, he knelt down almost on the ground, although with his height it was a little hard to do so.

They acted initially as he expected, being very weary in almost doing little snips in his direction. He gently put his hand out, which he's a little more different no, being more bone than anything else. One of the smaller ones stepped forward and very cautious he came up to him. Aegis very gently laid his hand on top of its head, being careful not to lock into the horns. It seemed a little shocked about the initial contact, but became more docile pretty quickly. The others didn't seem very convinced right up front, but at least the snarling and horn cracking had stopped. As you reach behind his back, they did still give him quite a flinch, so he had slowed down and pulled out Theo, who was latched onto his back. After they fully saw the small fluffy creature, they seemed to calm back down a little bit.

Aegis could now see what happened easier, as he had Direct site on the injured creature. It didn't look like a self-sustained injury, in that the impacts had looked more akin to claw marks. He quickly looked towards Theo, and nodded gently. As the small cotton ball, gently and slowly floated over towards the injured creature laying before them, and making sure the others were not agitated more than desired. They however did not enjoy this, and started snarling again. He pulled Theo back towards him, and quickly thought of an idea. The small younger goat looking creature was still beside him, so he got Theo to cast the spore healing that he could do upon the smaller creature to show that it was all to help. At first they didn't take too kindly to the glowing Magic covering one of their younger, but after a second the creature was fine. They looked a little confused, but Aegis pointed to the injured one while presenting his little support creature.

The creatures is now seem to kind of get the idea, from Aegis' point of view on their posture change. He released Theo once more, and this time they actually allowed him to get close to the injured one. As the spore clouds gently flowed down onto the creature, slowly but surely the wounds started close. As this was happening the rest of the surrounding herd mates started getting more energized and relaxed in their alertness. Several of them started bounding back and forth around the encircled creature. After a few minutes of this, the creature was fully healed, and slowly begin to stand up. As the herd was busy enjoying their member being back at full strength, Aegis slowly stood up and started to head out. happy that he was able to do something to help them. After getting just a few feet away though, the small one almost took out the back of his knee as it rammed into him, but just looked up at him happily. Though he didn't have facial features, his happiness radiated as he leaned down and pet the creature for a short time before standing back up. Not even sure if they even knew the gesture, he waved back at them as he passed into the distance, for he still had a job to do.

Other than the temperature and the atmosphere remaining the same, the rest of the travel to the theatre was relatively uneventful. Upon getting to the theatre, they informed him that the reason that he was there is that they required his height to do some repackaging and positioning of some items for their show. The work was generic but generally involved, and he did not mind it very much at all. It was quite a few hours before the end of the show, but all of the work he was required to do was done. After he said hello to the manager and the Ghostly father, he happily took his payment and waved goodbye as he headed back home.
