Joshua wasnt much for bars, he enjoyed them alot more then he did before he arrived in Fiore, that much is certain, but he still hated the idea of letting himself be vulnerable anymore. he had grown cold and distanct, following his meeting with that strange Lich. He was walking into the bar of a man who he had no problems with, fully intending to ruin the mans night. He was wearing his official uniform of the Syndicate, the business suit look suited him and he quite enjoyed it. It was something one could wear and still look as good as possible, without sacrificing their ability to fight, he credited that to the tailors Konstantin employed. He had the punsher on his back, wrapped in its cloth cover as he waded through the crowd. he pushed past the people singing and cheering and generally making an ass of themselves. He made his way to the bar and stood waiting for the barkeep to notice him, he would take a while though, given how busy it was.
However, shortly afterward a rather large drunk figure stumbled up to Joshua, his breath reeked of booze and made Joshuas nose wrinkle in disgust. The mans slurred speak was hard to comprehend, but Joshua understood quickly where the conversation was headed. This drunkard thought himself strong enough to challang Joshua, after having seen his performance in the magic tournament. however, when the man grabbed at Joshua, he found a palm thrusted into his chest. Joshua wasnt the strongest by any measure, but he was far stronger then the average citizen would be, expecially one thats drunk. the man was sent flying out the door, and everyone stopped what they were doing and stared at Joshua. In a dry dead panned expression, Joshua spoke. "If you value your lives, youll leave now. go home, go across the street, i dont care where you go but leave, now."
It didnt take much more to send those people scurrying away to the other bar, with some going home. but all together he knew his job was done, he knew happily that Konstantin would make sure the reward was paid, once the guild got their cut. He sat down at the bar as Enil looked at him. He made his way over quietly, as he finished cleaning the glass he had been polishing. He looked at Joshua before setting it down and pouring ice and whiskey into the vessel. If the man wasnt as good at reading what his customers wanted, Joshua might have less respect for him. But Enil didnt do anything beside serve him, and go and turn the bar sign to show closed. He returned the bar and looked at Joshua again, his glass wasnt touched yet. "Needed another talk, Joshua?" He had come to Enils bar before to speak, when it was alot less busy.
"Yes... and also needed to fulfill a request from that fool across from your bar. Send your customers his way. Sorry for the scene, ill make sure to pay for the nights costs."
"No need, the Syndicate, despite what some people see them as, are doing a pretty good job of making sure our homes are safe. Your always welcome to drink here. So come on, tell me whats on your chest." Joshua looked at the glass, before slamming it down and setting on the table as the booze burned his throat. He spoke to Enil for a few hours that night, before returning to his guilds base, and his own bed.
