Alisa could have done all of this herself... Perhaps she still had some room to grow into the Guild Master shoes, for the sculptress still very much looked at a mission and immediately started thinking of how to go about, as opposed to who would be best suited to take it in her stead.

"...I might be here a while at this rate...", sighed the sculptress, cooly crossing her legs as she held a single piece of paper pulled from a stack of many neatly laid out in the table before her. She'd asked for more information about the disappearances and she'd been given it. Rubbing her forehead, brushing those silken strands that strayed in front of her eyes, Alisa reached for the cup of coffee she'd ordered at the hotel bar and took a long sip.

This time around, celerity was key. According to Lord Diones' emissary, travellers had been vanishing into thin air. As a city freshly focused on opening it's walls to the rest of the country, the longer this went on the worse it would be for not only the missing travellers, but the very city itself... Having called for her strongest mages, the need for speed here all but tempted Alisa to select her party based on which of them showed up first. Shooting curious glances towards the hotel staircase and the entrance on the other side, the sculptress couldn't help but wonder who would answer her call first~

There she is~ It amazing how her heart seemed to shoot for the stars upon sighting the White Empress even now, despite having known that dark delight rather intimately for more than a couple of years now Sofia Serena found with some amusement that she always felt a hint of excitement in the very first second she saw her, regardless of where they were or what they were doing, and had kind of fallen in love with that quality about their connection.
Looks kind of serious… Maybe this wasn’t a call for booty~? The initial assumption and imagery that was stimulated by this starting stare seeming to be somewhat out of place when she caught the expression of her ebony enchantress, even though her beloved belle looked as beautiful as ever the experience of the emerald eyed lass helped her guess that this was not a wholly ‘social’ summons, and brushed her long brown locks back as she neared her with a slightly more sober look. But only a tiny little bit.

“Hello there my love~” Smirking as she neared Alisa and then doubling over as she stood next to her, Miss Serena leaned forward and stole the sweetest greeting she could from her luscious lover with a kiss and didn’t mind one bit that she left her perky posterior sticking out as she did so, and given the way she rolled it from side to side for a second like the wagging tail of a pet one might have even gone so far to think she enjoyed flaunting it.
“Tell me, what can a woman like me do to bring a smile back to her wife’s lovely lips~?” Not letting that rolling rump linger for all too long however as she peeled herself from that tantalizing taste and purred as she looked into her lover’s eyes, the siren in the sable dress grinned as she slipped onto the arm of her lush lady’s chair and looked deep into the gaze of her gorgeous goddess as she wondered what was bothering her, and how she might be able to remove such trouble from the mind of her magnificent magenta mix…

Mmmm~... She hadn't called them over for a social call but... She'd be lying if she said the thought didn't cross her mind. The moment she heard those sensual steps sashaying closer to her, Alisa turned her her head and slowly bit her lip as those wine red jewels washed down her her vivacious wife's curvaceous visage. Indeed, even thought they'd been together for longer than any of Alisa's previous relationships, despite having tied the knot a few months ago... That broiling flame of passion hadn't deemed in the slightest as the mere sight of her beloved still left her pulse quickening as she shifted her legs, idly crossing them the other way:

"Oh, hey there Sofia~ Ufufu... You got here quite quickly hmm~?", not really surprised, but thoroughly delighted in every way imaginable at the fresh reminder how Sofia too would waste not even a second to join her, Alisa merely enjoyed her warmth, her taste, her scent filling her nostrils, kissing her back slowly and softly, and yet lacking even an inch of passion she always felt for her. Even though Sofia had caught Alisa in the midst of this important quest, that didn't stop Alisa from relishing this reprieve, letting her shivering hands wash over her lover's form, tracing her curves, venturing into that pert, wiggling posterior before settling around her slim waist waist, giving her plush bottom lip a little nibble as she whispered, breathily, "Hmmm, I can think of a thing or two~"

Despite the flirtatious tone on her lip, the seductive narrowing of her eyes as she took in those glimmering green hues, Alisa would soon peel away from her lover, albeit reluctantly, leaving only her hand firmly holding Sofia's fingers interlaced as she guided her onto the chair next to her, sharing with her wife some of the information she'd learned:

"...It would seem as if some travellers have been going missing. Our employer gave us a couple of leads to go by, and this is one of them.", spoke the sculptress, pointing at one of the many sheets of paper she'd grouped up, "Apparently, there's a man named Jaren, somewhere in Swindler's Steps, who was supposed to meet with one of the missing travellers, a merchant... We need to find this Jaren, and learn what he knows. Just...", squeezing her hand tighter, Alisa looked up into her lover's eyes with a serious, loving look, betraying a palpable hint of worry, "...Be careful, alright my love...? We don't yet know what we're dealing with."

“Who could keep a woman like you waiting, hm~?” Giggling and grinning as her partner praised her promptness, Sofia purred and nuzzled the woman that she called her wife lovingly, her fingers running down that sweet and soft cheek as she did so whilst her pulse pounded with excitement all the while, in an intensity that would probably be revealed to her beloved black beauty by their mere proximity.
“Heeheehee, hopefully we’ll have time for them all later then~?” That hammering heartbeat certainly making it rather hard to remain professional and the teasing words of her titanic temptress not helping either, as the wicked White Empress let loose words that inspired such want within the witch she could only smile all the more and lean in close to the lobe of her luscious lady to nibble it softly as she whispered in the ear of her ebony enchantress, and made a quiet promise to fill her earlier intention before the day was out.

“Swindler’s Steps huh~? Seems you chose the right woman for the job~” For now constrained by the demands of her life as one of the senior members of her guild and perhaps her responsibilities also influenced by the wonderful wedlock she shared with the mistress of the Pegasi as well, even though it would have been simple bliss to spend her day entertaining Alisa the girl with the green gaze knew that she would not be able to fully relax until the matter that plagued her was dealt with and with a little reluctance Miss Serena stood up, and as she did so she had to note that her penchant for misbehaviour made her an ideal figure for the venue she was to head to.
“Hehehehe, I’ll be back to you in one piece before you know it babe~ Or maybe, a two piece~?” Still rather touched by the concern of her wife as she did so and that provoking another pertly positioned posterior moment as she kissed her dark dish lovingly in response, the Valerican vixen whispered a saucy little promise to her partner to leave her at least one distraction from her ills before setting off, and heading toward the steps of smugglers to finish her mission and get back to the warmth she craved as speedily as she could…
