He swallowed and his throat pushed against the rope. His eyes set on something new in front of him. A cube-shaped puzzle was the only key to the dilemma. Luckily his hands were free, "Lady luck has given me a chance," he took a deep breath and grabbed hold of the puzzle. His palms began to sweat as he frantically rotated the sides trying to get the images to match up.

Hold on... Lucian reached up with his hands and felt the rough rope that was coiling around his neck like a snake.
A noose?! Why in the world was there a noose around my neck?! I can't have that. I can't die here! What kind of sick shit is this? wait... Is it getting tighter?! I gotta get out of here. I got to!
"Damn it..."

Speech
Even if the morrow is barren of Promises
Nothing shall forestall my return
To become the dew that quenches the land
To spare the sands, the seas, the skies
I offer thee this silent sacrifice

Kurisa and Ko were the first ones to break out of the noose. Slowly, the remainder of the participants began to follow except for Venus. The noose around Venus' neck began to tighten as she started to suspend above the ground. She desperately tried to feel the sand beneath her with toes as she wiggled around. Alas, it was too late. Too much time was wasted to regain her composure. The puzzle couldn't be solved in time anymore. As she got pulled up further, the chained puzzle slipped out of her hands. Occlusion of the blood vessels resulted in her face becoming engorged and turning blue. Tiny red blood marks started to appear on her face. As a result of panic, Venus grabbed the noose around her neck with both her hands to undo it. She dangled around for a while as the veins in her eyes began to burst. With each second passing her face became bluer and her eyes redder. The dangling eventually stopped as her lifeless arms dropped next to her body. Her fingers twitched one last time. After that, she just remained stationary. Venus was the first one to lose her life on Survivor Island. |

There were a few familiar faces, one of them being Venus' face. She was still struggling against the noose as Noel in a panic made his way over to her, though sadly her struggling had stopped. Tears had begun forming in Noels eyes, perhaps it was an illusion!? He'd put his arms around her body and lift her up, maybe she could breathe still? Violently taking the rope off of her neck, Noel had realized that her suffering most likely came to an end. Gently taking her lifeless corpse into his arms, he'd whimper over her. He couldn't feel any pulse, so he'd cradle her head in his arms and quietly weep. "Oh baby, no... no..." Noel looked around him frantically, hoping that it was an illusion. That he was being tortured, and that Venus was fine. He'd close Venus' eyes with his fingers, and rock back and forth for a minute before he'd start to ugly cry.
Not a while later, Noel was seen digging into the dirt with his bare hands. The pain from digging didn't faze him, as he felt greatly distraught while digging. Once done, he'd raise Venus' in his arms, and gently lower her into the grave. Kissing her forehead one last time, Noel closed the grave with dirt and put a wooden cross made by branches on top of it. He slept on top of the dirt that covered Venus that night.
