Rinni yawned. She was dirty, tired, depressed, and pissed off. Why couldn't she find one good item out here? Maybe she should just give up and accept her fate. She headed back toward her and Ko's tent... that they shared together as a couple since finding one another on this Island.

However, on the way, she decided to give everything a once over. Maybe she'd find something someone overlooked or misplaced. She didn't know what was going to happen tonight, so she wanted to be as prepared as possible. If that was even possible out here.

This was hopeless. She'd never find anything out here. She sighed, eyes groggy, and blurred from sweat and tears. She might as well turn in and wait for tonight's nightmare to begin. At least get some sleep in. She sniffed the air once more, one last effort to find something out here.

Rather she finds anything or not, Rinni will return to her tent to sleep through the rest of the day and prepare for what's coming tonight. Who knows what torture is waiting for them once the sun goes down. How long had they even been here? A week? She lost count of the days.

The item search had finally paid off, as Alisa emerged from the water triumphant, smilimg as she held her dinner. So she could at least march into the next battle with a full stomach but how about surviving the battle itself? Before relaxing and sitting down to eat, Alisa decided she may as well spend a couple more minutes looking around for items... Hopefully she could maybe find some supplies or healing herbs, or better yet, a sword to replace the one she'd lost in the fight.

"Hmmm... Maybe some of those bats carried it off...?", mused the woman, raising an eyebrow, cupping her chin as she walked over to the myriad bat corpses that had yet to be cleaned out.

Hmmm... It's probably not gonna be that easy huh? Alisa clicked her tongue as she trudged across the blood soaked sand, all too quickly realizing none of these bats would ever have even anything remotely useful. Hell, they didn't even look edible or anything, so it's not like she could rely on them as a food source. Besides, she already had dinner for today anyway... Instead, Alisa moved further away from the massacre scene and further inland, past she shrubbery as she instead tried looking around for healing herbs. She'd done that once already to look for herbs and it didn't prove too useful. But who knows, maybe the second time will be the charm here...

Still nothing huh...? Well that's a bummer... Alisa grumbled in mild annoyance as she continued her rummaging, this time pulling away from shrubbery and instead looking over tall grass. Who would have thought it would prove so hard to find some manner of herbs huh? With the constant biting of parasitic insects, she was feeling increasingly nauseous, and hence the pressing need for healing herbs. If only she could get her hands on some, then she might at least be able to deal with the illness before venturing into the next game, whatever it may be. All she needed was one single measly plant.

And still nothing... She'd looked at every patch of grass in the vicinity she possibly could... Did this mean she'd have to look further away? No she couldn't possibly expected to scavenge throughout the entire island in time. No, somewhere closer, surely, she'd be able to get her hands on some helpful item:

Perhaps i'm just looking the wrong place...?", mused the sculptress, hand on her chin, rubbing it softly as she glanced around, left and right, wondering where else she could potentially find these herbs, only for her gaze to come to rest on the nearby trees, "Maybe I could find them up there...?"

And so, without further ado, the woman marched on towards the nearest tree trunk, pressing herself against the rugged bark as she started climbing her way up.

Well, this would prove troublesome... Alisa had no tools to assist her with this climb, not even the peak physical fitness upon which she relied on to accomplish the most varied tasks... She had nothing but the strengt of an average human as she clenches her thighs tightly around the thick trunk, gripping on to the bark and whatever branches she could find stable enough for the job as she drew her hands up one after the other, all that time keeping an eye out. Maybe she'd find some plants, leaves or fruits, or even some of the herbs she hoped growing atop that tree? She wouldn't know unless she tried after all.

"Hah... Hah...", Alisa couldn't help but pant as she reached closer to the top branches. Boy, climbing really is hard when you don't have super strength to back you up huh? She didn't even remember how that felt anymore, after having spent so long honing her strength far beyond the normal human potential... But now here she was, forced to climb a tree so slow and sluggishly even the monkeys would be laughing at her, assuming there were monkeys around these parts of course. That said, she could at least get by well enough not to fall out, and that, well... That was the most important part... As for actually finding herself those herbs, well... That didn't work out so well

Guess climbing the tree wasn't such a good idea after all...? Seemed like one at the time but in the end Alisa had literally nothing there worth finding and was forced to climb perilously back down, hugging the tree trunk close to her body as she descended, inch by inch, sighing in relief only at the very moment when her feet touched the ground.

"Feels a lot safer this way hmm...?", spoke the sculptress, thinking out loud, unsurprisingly that an earth mage would feel more at home with her feet on solid ground. In the end though, she couldn't help but let out a soft sigh as she yet looked disappointingly up the tree, and her surroundings in turn, "Hmm, where else could I search...?"

Well, Alisa had went through the waters, the grasses, and the trees... And so far found nothing. She'd even sifted through the carcasses if the bats slain yesterday and, still, nothing. Well, how about the beach...? She paused in place for a while, stroking her chin as she mulled over her options, frowning as she wondered if there was anything she could dig up on the beach... No harm trying it right...? And so, Alisa returned to the beach from whence she'd started her search, wondering if there was any chance to find some hidden treasures buried somewhere in the sand. Hmmm... Wouldn't be that easy huh...? Alisa started out seemingly well, digging up bits of sand, a little hole here, another hole there... Surely if somebody had misplaced something on the beach, she could surely find it with a bit of luck right...? Right now she'd resigned herself to not being able to find any healing grasses of any sort, but really, she'd settle for digging up something she could actually use, no matter how remotely, in the coming days, whatever she could use on their fight for survival in this god forsaken island. It wouldn't be easy, clearly, she had the impression that she could spend weeks digging around the beach and still find nothing... But who knows, right?
