Rinni had been crying all night on into morning over the death of her first love. How would she be able to continue without Ko? He was supposed to be there for her during this. And Lucian... he was gone too. Her only werewolf friend. Her only companion who truly understood her. She sat up in her tent, tears filling her eyes as she sobbed softly. Her eyes were puffy, her face reddened, as she had just about cried all the tears she could. She was almost dried out, but yet the tears still flowed.
Crawling out of her tent, she decided to take a walk. She thought maybe the air could clear her head. She headed along the beach, tears still streaking her face. She squatted and wrote Ko Lesalt in the sand... and then turned two sticks into a cross and placed it above his name. Teardrops dotted the ground as she leaned over the makeshift grave. "I love you, Tiger..." She whispered softly, her voice quivering.
She never got the chance to tell him that... not since the first time she said it and he had a panic attack as a result. She was too scared to say it since then. But, now that he was gone, she wished she had said it more. A scent reached her nose as she hovered sorrowfully over her boyfriend's grave. It was a family scent, musty like death. It also smelled of tears and sorrow.
Was someone else here crying as well? Perhaps they had also watched a loved one die? It wouldn't surprise her, to be honest. She had seen a lot of death on this island. In fact, at least one person died every night. Would she be next?
What did this psycho want with them?
Rinni headed toward the smell and could hear soft sobs and nonsensical mumbling. As she drew closer she spotted a small fire and a ghoulish form curled up beside. She recognized it instantly. It was that woman she met at the start of this hell. She approached the woman cautiously, shyly rubbing her left arm with her right. "Mary...? Are... are you okay?"
