She found her quarry rather easily, his establishment was well located and had quite the bit of branding set up outside. Well that he did too, otherwise even she might have gone to look for somewhere more reputable. But, when she considered just what kind of work she was signing up for, it made a lot more sense that the bar looked the way it did on the outside. And, stepping inside, it didn't look that much better. But, she wasn't there to judge. She was only there to speak with the owner and find out the specifics of the task. The man behind the bar fit the description.
"You're Mitya, right?" She asked.
The scruffy looking man behind the bar caught her eye, not that there was anyone else to notice in the place. He gave her a nod. "You here about the job?"
Vivi nodded in return, preferring to keep things short and sweet for both of them.
"Good," Mitya replied. "Simple job then. The bar across the street, belongs to a guy named Enil, is stealing all my business. I want you to go make a scene. No killing and don't burn down the place. I just want you to give everyone a bit of doubt that Enil's place is any good so that they'll come on back to mine. Got it?"
Vivi was already halfway out the door. "Got it. I'll be back."
She crossed the street quickly, almost barreling across it like bull. She didn't want to stick around for much more than she absolutely needed to. Thankfully, much as Mitya said, Enil's bar was booming with business. There was a line just to get in, and patrons leading down the block. Not that Vivi paid much attention to the line. She pushed her way past it, much to the chagrin of many waiting to get in. She didn't care about their jeers or shouts, she was busy and they were just a nuisance. Luckily for her, Vivi knew that clearing out any location was an easy enough task. Violence always got people questioning their choice of placement, and that certainly wouldn't change here. She just needed the right person for the job. And she spotted him quickly. A large, burly man who looked like he could take a tree and reduce it to splinters with an axe in just a few swings. Vivi ambled over to his spot by the bar, squeezing past patrons and nudging aside his pals. She clapped the large man on the shoulder. "Hey." She didn't give him time to respond before she took a swing with her right hook, catching him in the jaw and sending him flying into a nearby table. She ignored the shouts and the shocked cries as she kept up her pace without much of a care. She wheeled around on the man's friends, catching one with a boot in the chest and the other with another swing that struck him in the side. Patrons began to file away from them, quite a few even leaving the bar with a mixture of disgust and worry. Vivi could guess that they wouldn't be without drinks long. She kept up her little bout for a few more hits, taking on all comers until she was stopped by a shout.
"What do you think you're doing?"
She turned around and got a look at the man who was questioning her. From the way he was dressed, the apron being the clear giveaway, she could guess this was Enil. He shouted a few more things at her, some very unpleasant, and demanded she leave before he called the guards. With a shrug, Vivi did just that. She'd finished her task anyway. Hopping over one of the men she'd knocked out, she made her way out of Enil's bar and back to Mitya's. True to form, she found the place quite a bit more lively with over half the seats filled. Mitya welcomed her with a smile, bringing her payment over as he served drinks to his newfound customers. Vivi took the payment with a nod and quickly left the bar without another word. She needed a drink of her own, but not at a place like that.
