The beautiful dance of sakura petals in the light of the moon brought a scenery that took one into a whole new world. The sweet scent in the air and the soft lights from the lamps that illuminated the walking paths in Sakura Alley park was just the thing to get away from the hustle and bustle of the more crowded and lively streets of Hosenka City's other area.

Andromeda found herself there with little memory of how she ended up in the place. All she could remember was waking up underneath one of the beautiful sakura trees nearly covered head to toe in petals. Her long blonde hair which she usually would have tied up in one style or another was now down and free. Her body was clothed in a blue and white kimono while her feet remained bare. She was very confused and too afraid to ask for help from the people she saw walking by. Eventually, though she found herself getting up and walking away from the tree only to sit on a bench under one of the lamps, her brain working in overtime on her past events. Anyone walking by could see that she was in deep thought.

"I wonder why I know how to play one of these. I wonder why there's only three strings." A somewhat Scottish voice mumbled within earshot of Andromeda. There was someone sitting up against one of the trees behind that bench. She had a blue hood pulled up high over her head, two pink tails of hair hanged down over her shoulders.

In her hands was a shamisen, the classical instrument of the Joyan people. With her legs crossed, she held the pick for plucking along those strings. Testing and tuning it, Lorelei was admiring the sound it brought,and the sense of a scene it evoked.

Andromeda was getting a little private concert! But what in the world did Lorelei even mean that she wasn't sure she knew how to play it?

SInce she had come here to Hosenka, she stuck out like a tourist, no kimono or yukata, no knowledge of the culture of the place. No people to visit or stay with? Not that she remembered anyone or anything.

All she knew was that she was looking for someone, she wasn't sure who they were, but she wanted to remember them! Twang, twang, twanga twang. She started to play witht he instrument, tuning it enough to make sure it didn't sound out of place.

People walked by on the path, mumbling about the girl next to the tree, she was playing well, but wasn't she the one that roughed up some of the local ruffians on her own? Was she potentially a yakuza? No, she just had a bit of a tiny overreaction to three men who tried to rob her earlier in the week, which was promptly met with a pummeling of high pressure water-molded tools, beating the snot out of them for trying to pick her pockets!

She was drawing blanks. She couldn't think of a single thing that happened before she woke up from that spot. It was actually upsetting her and with all that thinking and now worrying she had another problem. A growling noise in her stomach was making it harder for her to concentrate and she wanted some food really bad. She hadn't realized it before but on her waist was a small pouch. Looking inside she could see quite a bit of jewel in it. Getting up from her seat and practically ignoring the music playing behind her she wandered around until she ran into a good vendor. Ordering practically all of his steamed pork buns and some iced tea she wandered back over to her bench but instead of sitting on it, she sat in front of the girl playing the music.

Pulling the little sack of jewels off of her waist and dropping it in front of the girl, Andromeda smiled as she appreciated the soothing sound. It helped her take her mind off of her own predicament and that was a big help. Thank you for sharing that beautiful music. Take this. I hope we meet again Standing up and wandering away Andromeda kept on stuffing her face with food and then she was off and out of sight. The sack of jewels she left the girl was way more than any stranger should have been giving away but she figured she needed it more.

She ever so gently stopped playing her tune when something was set down before her, her eyes blinked a few times. "Oh, thank you kindly for that. I uh, wasn't really planning on thi-Oh well goodbye, it was nice to meet you." She smiled, and returned to finishing a little song, plucking it out along until it came to a stop.

After the little song, and making some pocket change, she smiled warmly, before getting right to eating the little meal she would buy with the jewels that had been given to her. All in all it was a great little day to get a free meal, technically speaking. That was money from someone else, though, she didn't feel like it was a loan, so she couldn't worry about paying it back later. Maybe she'll meet that girl again some time later?
