The sound of rain coming down all around the young dragon. It would seem that this city, much like the capital city of Joya was full of violence. And good people were dying left and right. The only question was why, and how. This was something that had to be answered. There had to be justice for the victims no matter what the cost. That was something that was in short supply in Joyan dominated places. Because the mobs just like there, ruled in places like this one as well. Which was a sad state of affairs but there wasn't anything anyone could do but hunt them down and bring them to justice.
As he finished walking down the alley way into the crime scene. He spotted the detective who he had helped the day before and promptly walked over to him. He was kneeling over the body of the first victim. He had stated there were chances of a second vic as well. Not a wonderful sight. But it was something that had to be understood. "What do we got." He asked the detective who got up to shake his hand. Manzo returned his hand shake and nod as they began looking over the fist victim.
"The first vic has a lot of finger prints on them, not too sure from what. But I have a hunch, a strong hunch." Manzo tilted his head a bit as he let out a cloud of smoke from his lips. "You have a hunch huh, care to enlighten me." He asked as he put his cigarette back to his lips. The two kneeled down over the first victim. "You recognize these wounds. I'm sure you've seen them before." Manzo took the cigarette out of his mouth. Looking over the wounds carefully, he noticed the slip mouth. Having rolled over the body he noticed the stab wound in the back of their neck.
"This is a gang execution. Joyan style." He said as he put the cigarette back in his mouth. It had been such a long time since he had seen wounds like this. In the capital city the bodies all looked like this. Which means no matter how far away he got from home. It would never stop haunting him. But now was not the time to get lost in those ghosts. We had to find who ever, did this to these people. "There's one more thing." The detective added.
They took a look at a tattoo together. "You recognize this?" The detective asked. Manzo's cigarette fell out of his mouth. Stunned by the sight of the tattoo. One that he hadn't seen since he was a child. "White Star. Yakuza." He said as he put another cigarette in his mouth. He got up from his position as did the detective. "You said we have another body?" Manzo asked as he looked around for it. "Yeah but I can't seem to find it. You're a dragon slayer right. Your nose and my magnifying glass should be able to do it."
Manzo nodded as they began to comb the area. Manzo sniffed the air for signs of decomp. Hopefully they'd find this body, and maybe another clue as to who did this. What group, or individual that would be behind this. Something about this just seemed off. But he couldn't seem to put his finger on it. This wasn't just some random act. The wounds were too precise. Everything was too perfect. But with hope they got lazy and didn't hide this body to well. After a few minutes of searching the two ended up in the same area.
At that point to the two reconvened at where they ended up together. "I think we got it." Weirdlock said. Manzo came over to him and began helping him clear out the boxes and trash that seemed to be covering the body. Upon discovering the body, the two got back to work. And began looking over the body once again. "Wounds are the same." Weirdlock stated. Manzo began to search the body, finding a crumpled up piece of paper. As he unfolded it. It appeared to be a poorly drawn sketch, but it was a dragon eating his own tail. That was something to be sure.
Manzo quickly handed over the paper to weirdlock to see what he had to say on the matter. "Oh my god." He stated. Which caught Manzo's attention. He quickly turned his focus to the master detective. "What, do you recognize this or something." Weirdlock looked baffled but not for the reason one would think he would be. Considering that this was something very, very serious to all Joyans. "You don't recognize this?" He asked. Manzo shook his head no. He had no memory of this or anything of the nature. Hopefully the good detective would enlighten him sooner than later.
"This, this is the mark of Yakuza crime family known as the black dragons." In that moment, Manzo's whole childhood flashed before his eyes. They would raid villages, take the women, and children. They were one of the most violent crime organizations from Joya. Constantly causing violence and waging war in the streets. This meant they were here in Hosenka. The two kept this information to themselves as they reported back to the guards. Weirdlock got the reward from the guards and handed Manzo his share. "I'll keep you posted." He said as the two departed each other.
