Complacency is the eneny of excellence; as such, much as he wanted to take time off, it would have to wait. Jan Ren knew himself well enough, mainly from.idle time in Marigold, to know if he wouldn't have attempted some sort of job soon he would fall into laziness. And that won't do!
The request today involved something of a high risk. Spying was admittedly not in his forte, though occasional acting in the south's theater provided some edge (probably). Uncharacteristically suited up -- having rented a fitting one specifically for this mission, hair tied up; the Sinese had to claim himself to be quite classy, refined. "(Mhmm. This will do.)" As opposed to his regular protests about Fiorian fashion, the young lad was awfully satisfied with his outfit this time around.
Another point taken into account would be his company. Having not been assigned a job as an undercover associate by his lonesome; he'd wait on the expected young woman. "Confidentiality." He uttered; "Loyalty, and efficiency." As if marking off a mental checklist, the Sinese voiced out the three traits he believed would score the most points, when feigned.
"As long as we lay relatively low, we should be just fine!" ...Right...?
